Amazing family run hostel with such a nice common area and clean facilities. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, wish I could have stayed longer

Stayed for 7 nights - cost friendly, good internet to work remotely, feels like home and safe as a solo lady traveler. ⁠Staff made me feel welcomed at all situations from basic inquiries, free Saturday night dinner together with other guests and generally clean and complete facilities. Their restaurant price is also affordable. I love their swimming pool which is not giant in size but serve its wonderful purpose after a long and hot day out in the sun and road. 8 - 10 minutes walk to the beach and main streets (near Discovery Mall) so if you needed anything more it’s easy access and less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. It’s tucked in a quiet courtyard but next to a street so you really get the best of both worlds. Thank you Pudak - Septi, Asri. Will stay here again.

Only just wish they’d have a small counter table to put wallet / charger/ small things in your bed dorm and having water refill machine would make it 100% perfect!

I stayed at Pudak Sari Unizou Hostel twice and I really enjoyed my stay both times. I had a broken ankle during my stay, but the staff were really supportive throughout my stay, nothing was to much for them. The hostel was very clean, they have a great pool and lounge area. The free Saturday family meal for guests was fresh and tasted amazing. I totally recommend Pudak Sari Unizou Hostel to anyone visiting Kuta. Thank you again to the team at Pudak Sari Unizou 😀

Good curtains to have privacy in the shared dorm. Good AC in the room and 3 toilets and 3 showers for the 6 bedroom dorm. Toilets kept very clean. Very quiet for good sleep. Possible to buy drinks and food.

Lockers were too small, so you would have to leave your bag next to the bed. Weird that you can't lock the door to the room. Not possible to refill your own water bottle to support 0 waste (possible to buy though). I felt a bit uncomfortable walking alone from the hostel to places in the evening (good to have your flashlight with you). They should add nobs to hang your towels somewhere to dry.

A great place to spend the last night of your Bali trip. The showers and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The building and rooms were tastefully designed with wooden accents. Everything was clean and well maintained. The common area is good for getting some work done and chatting with others. It's located right by the Bali airport and grabcar is only around 45000 rp. Walking distance from the main street with food, malls and kuta beach walk.

The food situation was suboptimal, but that doesn't affect the hostel rating itself. Tea and coffee is free but you have to pay for water (?) and the chicken in the sandwich was a little undercooked.

Lovely place for backpackers! The bed was much wider than I expected, with enough lockable storage for a few days (yes you can pile up your extra luggage anywhere, nobody would mind). Absolutely neat and clean, a requirement that doesn't change irrespective of a "hostel" (like this) or 4 seasons. Bang in the middle of Kuta with plenty of options for food and anything else on your mind. But after a recce I found the in-house restaurant to be extremely reasonable with tasty food and great company! The company is the family members who own the place. Madhe Adi is a gem - we became friends over Aarak (brewed by him) and he actually went to the market to get me some of the fiery Balinese peppers that I enjoyed with the meals.

It's a "hostel" so I expected lights off in the dorm at a certain point. The bunk above me was probably booked by an insomniac so the lights stayed on even after the common lights were off. Maybe it'll require a little investment to replace all bed bulbs with reading lights or replace the curtains. Whenever you can get to it, Adi. Otherwise, happy to sleep facing the wall. 🙃

There was a spacious bed with privacy. The bathrooms were clean. Lovelyyy pool with garden. On Saturday, they had a free dinner for everyone, which allowed us to meet the coolest ppl ever. We met and we had such a fun night. The dinner was delicious, and in the morning, they offered free coffee or tea. Next to the hostel was a chill bar with karaoke and drinks. It's a nice place to meet ppl and have a good time. The staff was super nice. The location was just perfect, in 5 minutes you were on the main street with various shops and places to eat or have drinks. Highly recommended.

Very good for the money, I stayed in a double room by myself as it was very first time in Bali and also first time solo. Bed was soo comfortable and clean. Pool was clean and lovely.

The towels could do with been replaced a few stains on them. I gave 100,000 deposit when they asked for 50,000 I was not given change. Instead the receptionist told me I gave her 50,000 I didn’t but also I would have tipped, so instead just left it and didn’t leave a tip at the end of my stay. Otherwise the staff were lovely, just unfortunate a solo girl gets scammed quite often ive noticed in Bali.

Wish I Stayed Longer! I only stayed for one night, but it was enough to fall in love with this hostel. The atmosphere was so welcoming and peaceful — it felt like a little home away from home. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the vibe was so tranquil. What made it extra special was the people — I made so many new friends in such a short time. The staff and other guests felt like one big family. The attached restaurant was a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious and super convenient after a long day. I truly wish I had booked more nights. Can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay. Right from the moment I checked in and Asri showed me around, I felt like it was my home. The size of the beds is somewhat bigger and very comfortable. There were 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets in my dorm for 8 people (Yudistira). I was even given a choice to stay in the female dorm if I didn't wanna go up but since I had already moved in my luggage, I stayed at the mixed dorm. I loved interacting with everyone at the family dinner. The warung that makes the breakfast made amazing Omelette and Pancakes. It is close to a full blown market and the warungs closeby are pretty good especially Minnie's warung. I enjoyed chilling by the poolside under the frangipani tree. I will always remember the staff at the reception who were so welcoming, polite and helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay guys.
