Stayed for 7 nights - cost friendly, good internet to work remotely, feels like home and safe as a solo lady traveler. ⁠Staff made me feel welcomed at all situations from basic inquiries, free Saturday night dinner together with other guests and generally clean and complete facilities. Their restaurant price is also affordable. I love their swimming pool which is not giant in size but serve its wonderful purpose after a long and hot day out in the sun and road. 8 - 10 minutes walk to the beach and main streets (near Discovery Mall) so if you needed anything more it’s easy access and less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. It’s tucked in a quiet courtyard but next to a street so you really get the best of both worlds. Thank you Pudak - Septi, Asri. Will stay here again.

Only just wish they’d have a small counter table to put wallet / charger/ small things in your bed dorm and having water refill machine would make it 100% perfect!

Good curtains to have privacy in the shared dorm. Good AC in the room and 3 toilets and 3 showers for the 6 bedroom dorm. Toilets kept very clean. Very quiet for good sleep. Possible to buy drinks and food.

Lockers were too small, so you would have to leave your bag next to the bed. Weird that you can't lock the door to the room. Not possible to refill your own water bottle to support 0 waste (possible to buy though). I felt a bit uncomfortable walking alone from the hostel to places in the evening (good to have your flashlight with you). They should add nobs to hang your towels somewhere to dry.

I absolutely loved my stay. Right from the moment I checked in and Asri showed me around, I felt like it was my home. The size of the beds is somewhat bigger and very comfortable. There were 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets in my dorm for 8 people (Yudistira). I was even given a choice to stay in the female dorm if I didn't wanna go up but since I had already moved in my luggage, I stayed at the mixed dorm. I loved interacting with everyone at the family dinner. The warung that makes the breakfast made amazing Omelette and Pancakes. It is close to a full blown market and the warungs closeby are pretty good especially Minnie's warung. I enjoyed chilling by the poolside under the frangipani tree. I will always remember the staff at the reception who were so welcoming, polite and helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay guys.

Nothing really! it was worth every penny

I stayed here for my first night in Bali. The hostel organized the airport pick-up for me, which was a huge help. The beds were good and there was a locker at the bed and next to reception.

The toilets/bathroom are inside the dorm which is always a little noisy, but ok. The next morning, I ordered breakfast, just to have no hassle searching for some outside. It took 30 minutes to get my omlette and I could not order 5 minutes before they opened. Also the staff was not too helpful with organizing my onward travel for the same day, the offered service could only be booked one day in advance.

This Hostel is exceeded all my expectations. The staff was so kind and nice, every guest was treated like a member of their own family, the food was very good for the price. The location eas perfect, the beach is 10 minutes by walk, also the main street is 3 minites, and so close to the airport. The family who lives next to the hostel invited us to their family temple, and they told stories about the hindu religion and coulture. If yo stay a few days in kuta I recommend to stay here. We will come back soon.

Mosquitoes, make sure you have repellent Or light citronella incense The kitchen has neither stove nor microwave but the hosts offer a very delicious menu with a variety of the finest local cuisine. I was allowed to use the kitchen anyways in case i craved certain foods. The staff provided me with anything i needed!

I loved everything about this place!!! The stuff is incredible nice and welcoming. They literally do everything for you!!! The room is very specious with plenty of space for the luggage. The bathroom includes multiple toilets and baths per room. The common area downstairs is nice and clean. The pool is perfect for a relax afternoon. The food they offer is super cheap and very delicious. I kept coming back to this place through the whole month that I stayed in Bali. I just loved it! If I ever come back to Bali, I would definitely stay with Pudak Sari again! Thank you Via and Asri, you made my stay feel like I was home! Hope to see you again girls :)

The place was very clean, hostel beds were bigger than usual hostels. They have their own restaurant as well. The location is excellent and all other restaurants are at walking distance. The staff is really friendly and makes you comfortable.

They will email you about airport pickup for 150k Indonesian rupees but when you download Grab taxi app and travel to hostel it only costs 21k. They are ripping off you 7.5 times lol. Just be mindful and use Grab taxi app for airport transfers. Since it is nearby airport people just come as a stopover for one night and hence environment there is quite dead.

✅ Great for a short stay whilst exploring Kuta, or before/after flying into Denpasar. It was around a 20-25 minute drive from the airport in a taxi, and the hostel organised transport for me, which was so helpful. ✅ The beds were clean and really large, especially for a dorm ✅ The beds were private with curtains, and had a little ledge for your phone/watch at night ✅ Communal area was beautiful with a big table, chill out sofas and a kitchen. You can buy soft drinks for fair prices. ✅ Pool looked lovely (but it wasn't very big and nobody was using it as it was very close to the building making it feel a bit awkward)

❌ There was no obvious way to control the AC and it was really hot in the room. Especially on a top bunk. If you stay, I recommend requesting a bottom bunk! ❌ This was not an issue for me, but it was not a social hostel. I like a calm place to stay, but if you're looking for night life/socialising, this won't be the hostel for you. ❌ The area was not the safest at night. As a solo female, I didn't feel particularly comfortable walking to the shop around the corner. ❌ The key I was given didn't work in the locker, so I slept with my bag just out in the room. It was completely safe, nobody touched it, but some people may not feel comfortable with this

The accommodation is perfect if you are travelling 1-2 nights after or before a long flight. The staff are super friendly, helpful and cheerful! The private room was perfect. Simply furnished and very clean. You also get towels and free water. In general, the hostel is very clean and relaxing. I also had the opportunity to look at the dorms and they are great! I would like to thank the staff for this great time and I will definitely come back. Cheers Kim
