Stayed for the Rinjani 100 race weekend. It seemed a little expensive, and the wall in the room didn't offer much sound protection from the room next door. But the hotel is the main race venue so location couldn't be better. The facilities, staff, food, etc were all great too. When the clouds cleared there was also a perfect view of Rinjani from the room's verandah. So despite the price and the noise I would still strongly recommend, especially for the R100 race weekend.

The breakfast is more than simpel. They claim to have western food, but for breakfast you just get one dry tiny pancake without fruit if you dont want noodles or fried rice...you have to pay extra for everything! We stayed for three days and had to pay for every tea/coffee right away and were not able to pay everything together at check-out. Very annoying!! And we couldn't use the pool because of constructions..

* Bathroom smelled like a public toilet because they use toilet blocks. Ugh, I hate that smell. * Beds come with blankets, but without a sheet. We didnt want to sleep under blankets that are very unlikely to have been washed with each visitor. * People hardly spoke English making it very hard for us to get vegan food (which failed even though we tried to explain). * Breakfast was very basic and felt cheap compared to what we payed. A dry pancake and a cup of coffee. An extra cup of coffee was charged.

The garden was awesome, owner was very welcoming, the pool is great and the dears kept our children entertained.... so the are definitely good things here.

Unfortunately the hotel is located just opposite a mosque and the prayers can get very loud. I fully respect that, although when you are woken up by them at 4:45 and it lasts for at least another hour, you just wont be ready for your next day program. Also I would recommend to avoid the hotel restaurant completely. Service is hideous and the food is very poor or disgusting right away.

Good location. It has potential but comes up short in most areas. Needs some professional management.

Booked with booking.com at 600,000 per night then found direct price was about 350,000 and on closer inspection property was on other platforms at that price. No better way to annoy someone than to make them feel ripped off. All comments about smelly bathrooms etc from other reviews are correct. I should have read them before booking...
