Rinjani Mountain Garden is a hidden gem in the green paradise of the Rinjani area. The location and exterior of the hotel blend in perfectly in its surroundings. The staff is super friendly & welcoming. There are a couple of day activities lined out, which are fun & well organized. In the afternoons, sit back with a drink & enjoy the most beautiful sunset on the island. Although there are not restaurants in the area and you are “obligated” to eat at the hotel, it was the best experience as they serve amazing breakfast, lunch & dinner with a variety of choices. Staying here is a great alternative if you are not walking the Rinjani itself, you will stay get a taste of the beautiful area.

The room feels a bit outdated & although there is a mosquito net there were a lot of insects in the room (although I turned off all lights & closed doors).

Extremely affordable stay nestled in the jungle of Lombok. Super friendly staff - the children took to my wife and made her feel at home. Some of the best meals we had during our entire stay. It was also a bit more removed and remote than other locations which we stayed, which ultimately added to the charm.

nothing negative to say about the property other than a large spider that decided to watch me sleep. Location-wise it is a bit removed from the town, so events not connected directly with the property can take little time to get to.

The breakfast is awesome. The best we had so far. The view is amazing. The water is the pool is so soft and surrounded by flowers and green. We booked a tour to the waterfalls. It takes up to six ours and the guide is very friendly, speaks perfect english and knows a lot about the plants and their harvesting that grow around Rinjani. I would recommend to take a taxi back, since the way back takes you through the jungle and is a little bit more difficult. All the prices that they offer are below or around the market price. A place I would consider visiting again.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and we loved our stay. The setting at elevation with a view to the sea is beautiful and the climate is nearly perfect. Jihan and Andy were fantastic hosts, making us feel at home, including us in a family celebration and helping us organise boat tickets, car transport and trekking. The home cooked food was simple and delicious - mama's curry recipe was a favourite. The bungalow was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was available in the restaurant and pool area. Everything you could want from a family run guesthouse - it was really lovely.

We had a very good time there. The hosts are very helpful, you can easily contact them. We took advantage of possibility of transport and two fantastic trips in the local area (big thanks for Sas, who was our guide). Additionally, what has to be mentioned are very tasty meals. You have to stick to your original plan, as there is a risk of eating all day, instead of sightseeing ;) The place we will remember for a very long time and always recommend to everyone!

Beautiful location and a fantastic garden. Peaceful and serene. Exceptional owner who welcome us with a beaming smile and she was thoroughly wonderful. Her cooking was excellent and she arranged all our excursions including a Rinjani climb all effortlessly. You should stay here!

I think the rooms/ huts are of different ages. Ours was quite basic but had a great view and faced a lotus pond! However I suggest you choose carefully. Some have outdoor downstairs bathrooms which can be challenging in the dark.

Going up there, first thought was: wonder where this is going. You are more or less in the middle of nowhere with small villages (exactly what we were looking for). And then you arrive, check in and...: boom! Paradise. Lovely people, wonderful food and an amazing garden and view. How the host treated us was exceptional, and did everything to make out stay even better. We were traveling with our (almost) 2 year old son. We were there a few days, and the hosts had some friends over one night. We were invited to share local food (fried snapper, pork) and drinks which was amazing. The next day, we were again invited to share their local breakfast. This is why you travel right?? The place is a bit harder to find, but I really do encourage you: go here, you will not regret it at all!

Well, we were at the last cottage. The cottage was clean, spacious and the view again amazing... but the wifi reception was not very good. But you are not there for the wifi. So,, If you really do need it, go to the main part and enjoy the wifi but enjoy the even more amazing view, food and people while you are at it! Wifi reception is best at home!

Really beautiful and unique location, many animals. Refreshing spring pool. Nice rest areas with hammocks and plenty of shade. They also had the option to do laundry which was really nice. Amazing breakfast.

Some sort of bubbling sound, possibly from a water pump or purification machine? Earplugs might be a good idea. Also, no AC and wi-fi in the room, which might be a surprise for some people.

At first, we doubted the high ratings. Within a couple of hours, we felt that many people didn't give enough praise to the food. It was absolutely delectable. The location was perfect. The room was spacious. The bathroom was clean and the water was warm. The natural pool and the multiple spots to hang out were perfectly located. This place is HIGHLY recommended!

What an amazing place! The garden is breathtaking with beautiful flowers, a pond and natural swimming pool. Spacious, clean bungalows with big balcony. Our children (7 and 10) loved swimming and relaxing here. The food was delicious. But most of all we felt so welcomed by the family in a happy, relaxed atmosphere with great service. Jihan and her husband run the place with love and dedication. We did a wonderful tour of the rice fields and the two nearby waterfalls with local guide Saas. He knows so much about all the plants and local life and helped our kids through the rivers and on steep parts. Some challenging climbing on some parts of the trip - but our kids loved it.
