The location and view from the room was simply amazing! The staff made us feel at home and they were always there to help us with questions and sorted a driver for us to get to the mountains. Huge thank you to Bayu, Nadiya and Suci - they are the best! 👏💛

Kita Cottages was a perfect place to stay in Sembalun. Centrally located to everywhere you might want to go, lovely view of the mountains from the front porch of every cottage, beautiful grounds, comfy beds, and even gave us an extra blanket when we were chilly the night before. Hot water showers in a large western style bathroom, fast wifi, and provided us with a scooter when we asked for one on arrival. We recommend walking further up the hill on the road past Kita one evening to a restaurant called Kebon Kupi for an evening cup of tea. The views are incredible.

Fantastic accomodation in Sembalun with a serene atmosphere, nested in a peaceful scenery, away from the main busy street. Bayu and his colleagues are amazingly warm people, very, very friendly and helpful. Be sure to stay here

Sembalun is very cold at night, just ask for a second blanket.

I like the garden and the view. It's really calming and refreshing. The place is clean and it's quite cold there. The breakfast also good. You can place order the night before and double confirm with the staf next morning. The room is good, suit with the price. You can park your car in front of the cottage if you drive there. The road up there was a bit bumpy with hole, just be careful. If you stay here, don't forget to go to Kebon Kupi Sembalun as it is just a few mins away, the food and view there are so good.

Great location, only walking distance from the picturesque Sembalun fields of crops. Great start point for Rinjani and Anak Dara. Free breakfast. Quick to organise a scooter at a good price. Great view of Anak Dara and nice garden area. Cool concept of the rooms being an entire chalet. Lovely staff.

We stayed here for two nights, in two different rooms due to booking last minute. The only difference between the regular and deluxe rooms were AC (not needed) and a koi pond in the latter. Both rooms were comfortable and had good bathrooms. The verandas outside the rooms have great views over the valley below. Also, the pancakes for breakfast come with strawberries which was nice.

The host guy just felt a bit off. He tried to charge us 100k per day for a poorly running scooter but dropped to 75k when we were paying, not sure why. For context, you could rent them in the center of town for 60k. The place was far out of town too so we had to go with his scooter or not at all. He also was unhelpful when we asked about bemos/buses to Mataram. He would only offer a private car for what seemed like an extortionate amount compared to others. We found there are bemos available in the end. Also the mie goreng for breakfast was not fried but just packet noodles drained of stock.

the hotel were very close to visiting the strawberry farms. room were spacious, comfy, and the room has a huge window straight facing to the hill. so i could see sunrise from inside of my room which is so amazing. the room also completed with basic complimentaries and some amenities, ac aren't necessary at all, because it was cold. water heather are super great. Breakfast was good, especially the nasi goreng and possibly eat with the view of the hills.

Beautiful quiet location in Sembalun with wonderful views. Really helpful and friendly hosts that serve delicious breakfast. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and I had a wonderful stay, I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Thank you for everything, 10/10 recommend 🙏

Amazing to wake up through the large window across the valley to the hills. A short (but steep) walk up to the lookout restaurant Kebon Kopi for great views and also a short walk along the main road (not so busy) to a local restaurant Tepi Sawah for nice local food looking over the valley. Very nice local breakfast of nasi goreng, mee goreng and local coffee. Not located near shops or ATM so recommend hiring scooter or getting a ride into town.
