We headed to Bobocabin from Bangsal Port, and the journey took about 3 hours by MPV. I didn’t sleep the whole way, the views were absolutely amazing! When we arrived at Bobocabin, the scenery took my breath away. It was a bit chilly since it’s located at a higher elevation above sea level, but that just made it feel even more refreshing. From the cabin, you can see Mount Rinjani straight ahead, absolutely spectacular. The staff at Bobocabin were super friendly, and you can rent a motorcycle to visit Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls, which are about an hour away. There’s plenty of local food available here and you can also buy very affordable items for a barbecue or steamboat. The cabin itself was modern, spotless, and cozy. I already miss it so much!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome view on the volcano in the mornings. Cabin was clean and nice little fire place on the porch. Not easy to get around, but staff helped arrange a rental car.

Over-engenineered app /digital tool, which makes the check-in slower, the communication more difficult (chat function had some bug, so couldn't send messages, so ended up using WhatsApp), doesn't allow keeping the door open (not practical with kids without phones), and there's enough friendly and helpful staff there who can be reached without the app.

Amazing accomodation, love the view. Tha cabin is manageable from the app, you can lock the door, change the color of the loght inside, tinned the window, and create a relaxing sound wiht the sound incorporate. Great location for visiting the area

When we order the bbq they delivery the stove and the meat but there was a miscommunication, as there was no written about self cooking. The meat was deliver still froze, even if we book at 4pm.

Everything is being pushed to be app based which I think is overly gimmicky. (Flushing the toilet is still manual - Thank you). Build (& design) quality is not quite there. The worst is the power outlet by the bed near the window, IT IS not suitable for normal Indonesian plugs. The plugs wobble like crazy. Down right dangerous! Your Mb or electronic will be damaged. Be warned. Bobocabin please replace them asap before someone gets electrocuted. The power outlet on the wall are much better. Cabin no.2 had a rat/ mice running around. Get pest control please. Lack of shelving in the room and bathroom. Bathroom door should be sliding since the cabin is tight.

Great service, modern and high-tech stay! Highly recommended. You can enjoy a direct view of Mount Rinjani right from your room—just make sure to wake up early to catch the stunning scenery! 😆🌄

Plan your transportation ahead when visiting Sembalun, as there’s no public transport available. You’ll need to rent a car or motorcycle to get around — but no worries, the staff is super helpful and can assist in arranging it for you!

Loved our stay here! The back to nature concept with a cozy style cabin was such a unique experience. You can order a BBQ package to enjoy right outside your room in your own private dining area—complete with a fire pit! The room is high-tech too; everything is controlled through the app, including the smart glass for privacy. Can’t wait to check out their other locations—definitely coming back soon!

Everything was fine

The location is perfect, directly overlooking Rinjani Mountain! My cabin, number 11, is honestly the best as it faces Rinjani, offering stunning sunrise views. I appreciate the modern amenities, including phone check-ins, QR code door access, and everything managed through a mobile app. Our stay was comfortable and memorable. I also enjoyed the surrounding area. While the food was okay, the staff were amazing!

Overall, there's nothing major to dislike. The breakfast was a bit cold, but I understand it was during Ramadhan. Other than that, I have no significant complaints. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Great location! Just a few minutes drive away to nearest convenience stores/restaurants as well as all the hills and mountains in Sembalun. Also got the scenic viewn of Mount Rinjani right from our cabin window.

Stayed there during bad weather. Basically got locked up in the cabin due to the heavy rain and the room got quite smelly cause of the poor drying of the wet towels. So bringing some air freshener would help.

Located in Sembalun, you can enjoy a direct view of Mount Rinjani right from your cabin window. One of the Bobocabins with the best views. Comfort, service, and standards are consistent with other Bobocabins. Breakfast could be improved.

I choose this accommodation because it looks different and unique. Then when the D-Day is com, It's literally AMAZING, Beyond my expectation because not only cute, the cabin is super modern, wonderful landscape that have ideal distance from the other cabin for the concern of privacy, and most important we have exclusive direct view to the Majestic Rinjani Mountain. But something that I need to highlight is the facility, this hotel is so different other than I ever experience. With the glamping concept, but you know what?! All integrated with IoT, but it's in the middle of nature but smart and hi-tech (they even have their own Bobobox App!). All control from your phone: lock the door, lamp control (changing color feels like aurora), speaker Bluetooth connection, and my most fav: the window! No need curtain, you can blur and unblur it. Tips from me: at night turn off all your room light then unblur the window for infinity view experience, if you're lucky like me you can stargazing from inside the cabin😉 The staff also very helpful, they have airport transfer facility and waterfall tour that can be book at least day-1. Later I found out that they also provide Rinjani Hiking package that we can book in advance or even after stay, very interesting! About the food, we have breakfast included. They also have cute lil minimarket that provide some snack and cute games that we can rent. The best part is: self BBQ services with all equipment provided and bonfire session (marshmallow and hot chocolate) to complete our camping experience! Later I found that this Bobocabin have another location in Bali and Sumba, definitely put it in my whislist for my next romantic holiday💚✨

I visit this place in the dry season, so somehow the weather feel a lil dusty. But not a big issue, it's just the nature that always surprises us-sky full of star. But much better than the rainy season✨️
