Nice staff , mountain view , near by village had a gamelan music practice night with village men. It wasn’t for performing. But it was soooo good quality to lesson over the fence.

Breakfast’s scrambled eggs wasn’t so tasty. Would be good to include Indonesian breakfast options.

the place was very tranquil, the bungalow was clean. swimming pool was great. staff were so friendly and helpful and did everything to answer any doubts or questions. they have scooters to hire for only 5 euros a day. it was a short walk to crystal bay beach. Food was good and cheap.

This is NOT a dislike just a comment for people thinking of staying. The location was hidden away. However, this IS very common in Bali, lots of places are in the middle of nowhere. it is close to the beach and Amok sunset (amazing beach bar) you have to get everywhere by taxi or scooter (if you have never ridden a scooter I would not recommend you to do this as the roads are really bad). just take this into consideration.

The beautifully rural location is perfect for access to Crystal Bay, with its fabulous coral, marine life, and the boat trips to swim with the manta rays. The rooms are pleasant with comfortable beds, fridge, kettle and tea/coffee provided, as are a daily top-up of drinking water bottles. Our rooms looked out over a very nice swimming pool, next to which was the breakfast area, breakfast included in the price. There is a great restaurant a short walk away, with delicious food and music. Crystal Bay Bungalows offer awesome value for money, and the staff are so helpful and polite.

We really enjoyed our stay here for 1 night and wish we'd booked to stay for longer. After Bali it was so chilled and peaceful with very little traffic and finally we found a beach we could safely swim at in walking distance to the accommodation! We found an excellent place to eat with live music very close too. Staff were friendly and welcoming (especially when we arrived early and they gave us a drink). The included breakfast was much appreciated too.

I mean, rooms could do with a lick of paint but the location/beautiful surroundings, pool and garden at a great price more than make up for that!

We really enjoyed our stay at Crystal Bay Bungalows! Beautifully designed rooms with all the necessary amenities and a beautiful garden and swimming pool in a nice setting surrounded by trees. Quiet and pleasant for a several days holiday. One of the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. Close to the Crystal Bay beach and Pandan beach by walk. The staff was very kind and efficient and helped us organise a driver to take us around the island. We really recommend this place!

Everything was very very good!

small and intimate. Staff were so lovely, made the room up everyday and topped up the bottled water. Swimming pool was very clean and the gardens were beautiful. 10min walk to the beach. They do serve food, not a huge menu but it was fine. we were away for 3 weeks and this was the BEST mie goreng of the trip! Hired a scooter for $10AUD a day but didn’t provide helmets it wasn’t a problem :) if you’re staying here you should check out Amok Sunset which isn’t too far away!

nothing! If I was to be picky a hand towel for the bathroom would have been nice. We knew what to expect from past reviews. There really isn’t anything around though if you’re not using a scooter (other than the restaurant at the hotel next door) but the food at the hotel is fine! The road to get there is super bumpy but just take it slow if you’re riding a scooter and you’ll be fine. Really not an issue. Just FYI there really isn’t much on the island so will have to get transport to each destination. It does get hectic with cars from day trips from the main island so try to get up and out early before the first boat that arrives at 8:30am unless you want to spend hours in bumper to bumper traffic :)

Everything! It is super close to the beach (walkable distance), staff super friendly, nice and clean room. Chill swimming pool. We also arranged with them the transfers from/to the harbour. Breakfast was ok. And also they have the kitchen open until night. The mosquito net was also an awesome point! They also clean everyday the room!

Sheets have some stains (yellow and old) but they were clean and smell nice. Our room was a little bit older than the others but no complains.

Lovely small hotel close to the Crystal beach. The rooms were large but the facilities were slightly basic. But I guess it is ok for a small island like Nusa Penida where people would probably stay for a night if at all. The staff were cordial and helpful. The lafyciwner arranged for my transport from Kuta including the ferry and it all went smoothly.

We were taking packed breakfast as we left very early. I requested for some pancakes as we would not have eggs or coffee, but we were charged separately for this.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Awesome pool. The bed was so comfortable and they changed sheets every day. We were there 3 days. We are 60, so wanted peace and quiet..... this is it. Remote location, but still has some amenities and 5 min walk to Crystal bay Beach. The staff arranged tours fir us, which made everything so easy. Will def be back, but for longer!!!!

We loved everything
