I loved my spacious bungalow! It had a little front porch, and occasionally, I'd wake up to a dog sleeping on it (I love dogs). It was within a short walking distance to Crystal Bay, mostly along a dirt road, where you'll come across views, chickens, and pigs running around (not at the hotel... On the walk). The staff were amazing, organising a ride for a motorbike tour with things I wanted to do - Angels Billabong, Broken Beach, Tembeling Beach - and a driver for a car tour - Diamond Beach, the Treehouse and Teletubbie Hills (last one pointless IMO). They also organised my boat ride home for me, including a driver. The room was clean, and the bathroom was a good size (the water pressure was THE best I've had anywhere in Bali), with a little porch to sit at, if I wished to. The pool was a good size and so refreshing. I loved how, when I went on a tour very early in the morning (and leaving on my last day), the staff organised breakfast for me to take with me. It was so kind and much appreciated.

The bathroom sink was incredibly high up. I'm 5ft5, and it came up to my breasts... It was kinda weird but definitely useable. The restaurant was not good for dinner. One night, I had Nasi goreng and another chicken skewers. I didn't like either. I advise you go to Crystal Bay and eat from one of the stalls on the beach or meander down the road a little (towards the beach) and eat at Warung Bale Lumbung, unless you hire a scooter, then the sky is the limit. If you go into Toya Pakeh, definitely eat at Joglo!

Clean, simple, and comfortable bungalows. Lovely staff very helpful The best thing is you about 10 min walk from pretty much only beach you can safely swim and don't need to climb hundreds of stairs 😀

The bathroom could use a little more personality like a soap dish so you don't put soap on the counter . The hot water finishes very quickly, like in 2 min in to the shower. It's ok since it's still hot weather . The helmets rented could really use an upgrade or clean as quite dirty. Not the hotel direct fault, but the road to hotel is horrible what really makes it unpleasant drive there , there is several hotels and spa facilities they could really get together and put themselves a better driveway as it really impacts the overall experience.

We had a good stay at this resort, which consists of charming isolated cottages. The atmosphere was peaceful and the pool elegant and comfortable, a great place to relax. Our room and bathroom were both very spacious, providing plenty of comfort during our stay. The resort’s location is just a short walk from Crystal Bay and Pandan Beach, both great for snorkeling and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

The room lacked a piece of furniture to store our clothes, which was a bit inconvenient. One of the towels provided was quite worn out, and we requested a replacement. Additionally, the towel rack in the bathroom was unstable, making it unusable. The resort's restaurant wasn’t the best. After our first evening, we chose to dine at other nearby restaurants. We also had breakfast included in our stay and requested a vegetarian option, but both times they included ham in the toast, which was a little disappointing.

The accommodation is in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by greenery—very beautiful. The staff was friendly. It’s a 10-minute walk to Crystal Bay. If you don’t ride a motorbike, you’ll need a driver. My daughter and I had a great driver, and we felt very safe with him. He knows every corner of the island and is the most affordable option, as transportation on Nusa Penida can be overpriced. Wirna Taxi: +62 812-4678-7632 Breakfasts are okay.

• The bed linens weren’t changed for 3 nights; they just made the bed. • Towels were replaced every two days, but they didn’t take the used ones from the bathroom—they just left the clean ones on the bed, and they were stained. • The ashtray on the terrace wasn’t emptied throughout our stay. • The lunch/dinner options weren’t great—it’s better to eat elsewhere. I recommend Amarta Penida, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset during dinner.

We had 3 nights at Penida Bay Village and loved it. The accommodation was spacious and very clean and the staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was generous and delicious. On our last day, we were leaving early and the staff offered to open the kitchen early so we would not miss our complimentary breakfast. We were very appreciative. It is very quiet there so if you enjoy quiet and relaxing, this is a perfect getaway.

Nothing.

Love the place! The staff were ever so professional. They were so helpful and friendly. They have a great team working there. There is a restaurant that I had most of my meals. Location is about a 10-minute walk to Crystal Bay. There are stalls on the beach for food and drinks, too. Excursions are available at the front desk. I recommend the Manta Ray Snorkelling trip. You can arrange for a later pick up after the snorkelling and have a nice lunch at the beach club, where the snorkelling operator operates from.

Everything was perfect.

My brother and I spent one night at Penida Bay Village while doing a 2-day Nusa Penida tour. Warm welcome right from the moment of making the reservation. Excellent location within walking distance to wonderful Crystal Bay Beach. Very nice hotel grounds and pool, beautifully decorated room, comfy bed, friendly staff and good food. Thank you for everything, we wished to have been able to stay longer!

We ordered the breakfast for a specific time the night before as we had a pick-up by our driver for our tour, but the food wasn't ready, so we started the tour with some delay. Tour spots get crowded quickly in Nusa Penida, so breakfast timing matters. We would have loved to stay a couple of nights more just to relax in this beautiful hotel and forget about time though :-)

This place was amazing- it’s like a small paradise in the middle of the jungle but at the same time in a walking distance to the Crystal bay beach - which is the only easy accessible beach on the island. Room/villa was super spacious, clean and beautiful. Swimming pool was gorgeous, we actually preferred to stay at the pool instead going to the beach, as there was dangerous currents and big waves. Restaurant was excellent- very delicious and quick. People from the other hotels also came to this one to have lunch and dinner. The garden is amazing and very well maintained. The sounds of the jungle forest makes the exotic experience complete. The stuff is super nice. My husband forgot his expensive MacBook charger in the room and they’ve sent it by a person who delivered it to Sanur for us. This was so kind. Thank you so much. You are the best!

The resort is a short 5-6mn walk to Crystal beach and our bungalow was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed a copious breakfast, though the menu for lunch and dinner could have more choices.

Crystal Bay is located a little out of the way from the main harbour so you need transport to visit the island and the roads are in terrible condition. The pool although lovely and clean is not quite as large as shown on the photos

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food was amazingggg, even though it says starters the portions are meal size and so affordable. I would definitely recommend staying and eating dinner here! I was given a complimentary drink during my check in which was really nice. The customer service was really good, I had left my adaptor in Bali but one of the staff members let me use his one which was truly a life saver, if you find yourself in a situation where you need help, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask them cos chances are they’ll be able to assist you. My taxi driver who picked me up and drove me to and from my destination was also amazing and super patient. My first day arriving in Nusa Penida didn’t go so well for me, but he was patient and positive. He also helped me a lot with my arrival to Nusa Penida and my stay there.

The location was far from the centre, about 20-30minute drive and costs about 200,000Rp one way using taxi, but on the positive side, it was walking distance to crystal beach. Driveway to accommodation might prove challenging for moped drivers.
