This is a lovely place to stay. It has a great pool, nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. They arranged the ferry from Sanur to Nusa Penida and return including pickup from and drop off at the NP Harbour - all paid for via our accommodation bill. The taxi driver helped us with ferry check-in at NP,. During our stay we hired taxis via the hotel, and the driver waited for us at each place we visited, including restaurants, and he also guided us around some of the tourist spots we visited. We also hired scooters at the accommodation, which were great. The restaurant arranged for early breakfast on the day we left early morning for sightseeing. We stayed for 3 nights, but did not find time to visit the local Crystal Bay/beach area.

A beautiful peaceful oasis just 10 minute walk from Crystal Bay Beach on the west of the Island. Staff were super friendly and helpful in organising drivers, boat tickets etc. They also made cute decoration on the bed to celebrate our honeymoon. Food in the restaurant was lovely - good breakfast and we had dinner there one night too and was great!

The location is great if you want to chill at the beach in Crystal Bay or in the beautiful pool at the hotel, however it is very remote and there’s not much around! It’s also worth noting, private transport and cars are more expensive in Nusa than mainland Bali so something to consider when deciding which location is best for your trip.

The property is situated in a quiet valley at the West Island of Penida and the staff has been super helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night and enjoyed the location a lot. Crystal Bay is 5-10 minute walk away. Getting to the other famous location like Angel Billabong, Broken beach or Kelingking Cliff you either book a tour or rent a motorcycle. We decided for the motorcycle and they had at the hotel plenty to rent.

The bungalows had the bear necessities to give you a comfortable stay. There were no drinks in the mini bar, no TV in a room. Not that a television is important for me as a traveler. However, knowing the place was apparently a 4 star hotel it missed on that gadget. I am not sure if a four star needs to provide a televion for example as a standard in a room set up. Nevertheless, it missed on that. Also in our bungalow the shower and bathroom were not in the most sophisticated condition what you would texpect from a four star hotel. The shower looked poor and the toilet didn’t flush strong. They provided for the pool towels but one of ours was actually not clean.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at Mahaloka Valley in Nusa Penida, and I can confidently give it a 10/10! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning scenery that surrounds this hidden gem. The accommodations were beautiful and spacious, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful amenities provided. The views from our room overlooked lush greenery and the serene valley, making it the perfect retreat. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from dining recommendations to local insights. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions, 10 walk crystal bay, where we spent our first sunset, short distance with Ahang Cliff and Kelingking Beach just a short drive away. It made for an unforgettable day full of breathtaking sights. In summary, Mahaloka Valley exceeded all of our expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway in Nusa Penida, look no further. We can't wait to return!

family of 3 we had 3 separate bed. its should be one double with extra single bed. but we didnt mind

An absolute hidden gem between the hills of Nusa Penida. Walking distance to Chrystal Bay made it the perfect spot for snorkeling; close vicinity to several good restaurants (car transport is needed). The owner and staff went out of their way to help us and facilitate anything we needed. When I come back to Bali this place will be high on my list!

My only point of improvement would be breakfast, which was quite limited in option. But still pretty good and given the price of the resort absolute no problem.

The location is really great, in the middle of the jungle and at walking distance from a wonderful little bay, with snorkeling directly from the beach. try out the little restaurant on the left side of the beach "Warung beach and stones" The staff was very nice, very helpful (arranging transport etc) and friendly. The food at the restaurant was simple but very good. We were traveling with our kids (6 and 7 years old) and everything about this hotel was well suited for them.

the rooms were nice, but the bed net was a bit hard to set up properly. the doors sometimes got a bit stuck, and for my smallest kid they were too heavy. not a real problem though.

Mahaloka Valley offers a peaceful and comfortable stay in a jungle oasis near Crystal Bay Beach. The little wooden huts provide a truly unique experience to be surrounded by nature whilst still having the same levels of comfort and hospitality that a 'regular' resort provides. We were very well looked after by the owner and resort staff. Whilst the location is fairly isolated the resort offers taxi services or scooter hire to explore the island more easily. During our stay we were lucky enough to spot monkeys in the trees from the pool side.

The restaurant could be further improved. Breakfast options were good however dinner could be better. Hot water for showers are limited however these likely due to the isolated nature of the resort and part of the experience!

Mahaloka Valley is beautiful. There's a stunning pool and the rooms are very cute. There's staff are friendly and it's only a short walk to Crystal Bay, where you can snorkel and enjoy the beach.

It's hard to get around from this spot if you're not confident on a bike. The reception organised some taxis for us, but they weren't always available because the property is in a remote valley, so for most of our stay we had to eat dinner at the attached restaurant and stay at the villa. The restaurant had quite a few options and the food was alright, but if you're looking to explore more of the island and eat at a range of restaurants that are a bit further away, it's good to be a confident bike rider (especially with rocky roads and large hills).

Well maintained of the beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, friendly staffs, clean room/shower, smooth wifi. Food was ok but not very good. Maybe it’s same around this island.

Nothing wrong with the host, but our choice. We selected this hotel due to close the crystal beach. But the beach is not fantastic. The hotel situated in a valley surrounding jungle, very very humidity. Our first room was number 6, there were several gecko on the roof. I couldn’t sleep in first night due to its horrible sounds. One of it fall down to our toilet, it was 20 cm long! It’s not dangerous told by the staffs but just afraid it appears our bed. The staffs brought it to the forest but the sound was still on the roof. We requested to change the room and we move to number 1. It was ok.

A gem in the island!We had wonderful stay in this place.Very friendly staff,comfortable bed and good A/C in the room.Atmosphere is just amazing,really better than in pictures.When you walk to the beach,you cross the local village,which was also a gem for us!Best beach in the island is just 10 min walking and you could get the boat for manta snorkeling from there.I hope I’ll come back again.Thank you again!;)
