The bungalows at Villa Kayuna are very comfortable and spacious, and there is enough space between each bungalow to give you privacy on your balcony and in the open bathrooms at the back. The rooms are all built around a lovely swimming pool and garden, and the place is really peaceful. The pool is kept really clean, and the water temperature was perfect. We were given a much appreciated complimentary breakfast every morning of fruit, eggs, toast, jam and a breakfast beverage. There are a few options to choose from. The Villa is located on the main road about 10 minutes taxi ride from the pier, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and dive shops within a 10-15 walk away. The beachfront is across the main road in front of the villa.

ayuna This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in during our 1 month trip around Southeast Asia. If you like the quiet but having an easy access to everything and being close to good restaurants and the centre of town then do not doubt it and choose this place! The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. The bathrooms are beautiful as well and very clean. The swimming pool was great for our last afternoon when we wanted to just chill and relax. And the balconies of the cottages are very nice to sit and read. The garden is beautiful and makes everything very private. And the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We had such a great stay that we wish we had booked at least 5 nights!

The only 2 comments I have for them to work on is that the sunbeds are full of dust so it would be great having them cleaned every day, and that one day we left at 7:30 am and left the sign to make up the room but when we returned at 3 pm the sign was still on and the room was not made up.

This is a very cute place! The bungalows are beautiful and very comfortable indoors. Loved the bed and mosquito net is nice! The staff is super nice and helpful. The pool is clean and nice. The aircon worked perfectly. The fridge is cold and doesn’t make a sound! I like that the water to the guests are in refill bottles and not I usual “drink and throw away-bottles”

I guess there is a “Woden theam” but it would have been nice with some cushion on the chairs and the sunbeds. The breakfast was poor 😕 Koffee OR Tea OR juice and one of the menus where I chose the pancake one, with two small pancakes and chocolate sauce, a toast with jam and some pieces of fruit. That doesn’t make me last for long. A suggestion (a VERY minor thing:) is a small mirror over the bench in the room so you don’t need to get to the bathroom to have a look 😌 Like kind of everywhere on the island there might be an early morning-rooster “singing” but that’s a part of life here 🤗

The place is amazing we really love 3 nights in this small villas . Rooms clean and really charming we really like partly outside bathrooms. Maybe pool sunbeds need to be change but this not bothering us because we spend days on the beach . Breakfast was really simple but fresh made . If we visit Nusa Penida we definitely use same place to stay .

The villas were right in front of the pool. So we woke up with a beautiful view. Showers were hot and with good pressure. Well kept place. We were diving in Nusa Penida, so they accommodated to our early schedule for breakfast.

The door locks were a little difficult to handle for 2 of the villas but the place felt safe. Initially, our room had lots of mosquitoes, the sort that don't bite, but they provided us with mosquito spray.

Clean, welcoming, out of the chaos of the harbour without being totally isolated. Nice and spacious bathroom. The bed was comfy and protected by a very convenient mosquito net.

The staffs were very friendly and accommodating but had a very limited english. Setting them up for English classes would make the service much better. The breakfast had a lot of choices, but the quality of the food was on the low end side.

Everything, bungalows were super cute! Bed very comfortable, liked the outdoor bathroom experience! Pool was clean and a good size. Outside area was kept tidy / maintained on a daily basis. Breakfast was nice but basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they were able to help organise motorcycle rental and a taxi to the port (they have both these facilities). Good location, shops and restaurants close by.

Nothing, would stay again and recommend people to stay.

The location is in front of mambo dive center, where you can just walk for a snorkling or diving program in the morning. Live music at mambo every night, but if you want a peacfull night you can just walk to your villa. Motor cycle rental is right next to it. So the location is perfect!!!

the location was fantastic for getting to and from the dock and there’s a nice bar over the road next to the ocean. the staff were really kind and helped sort transport to the dock after our stay. rooms had everything you need really, I would say this is more of a place to sleep than a place you want to stay at all day and so serves its purpose perfectly for those of you that are travelling all over penida and then staying over night

there were a few bugs but nothing shocking and this is to be expected when staying on penida and you won’t find different elsewhere.

There were so many Miskitos inside the bungalow as well- when i arrived I killed at least 10 of them and overnight unused the Miskito nets on the bed and found again quite a few in the room.
