We met Jingga and we played the guitar and sang with him. We met a little dog and we put him Jinggo if you see him he is so friendly, be nice with him. We took an activity with Jingga to see the west coast. The drivers were so nice and we spent the whole day with them, ending up in the beach with the guitars to see the sunset. Good room with airco and spacious. The one in the photo is Jinggo.

Jingga was an amazing host who went above and beyond to help us at every step. He assisted us in renting bikes, personally picked us up from the harbour with them, and even helped us book boats back to Bali. When we were running extremely late, he guided us straight to the harbour. He also suggested wonderful places to visit. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. The sea is beautiful there as well. Jingga has adorable dogs and cats, adding to the charm. The bungalows are set slightly inside, making it peaceful, you wake up to the sound of roosters, which is a lovely experience. The bungalows were also spotlessly clean.

Nice clean bungalow. New AC that is amazingly quiet and works great, clean filters. When we first got there we had a crack in our door that we complained about and Jingga fixed it straight away. He has done well with what he has created. Pro tip! When you walk to the bungalow take the small concrete pathway that the locals use for their mopeds, instead of walking on the muddy forest track suggested by Google Maps (see red line in my picture). When you go to the beach don’t walk straight ahead (you will get surrounded by the neighbours angry dogs). Instead follow the concrete path for a bit then up in between coconuts, and banana plantations (see blue line in my pictures).

You hear the mosque next door in morning and nights. There is also roosters but all places we have been at in Indonesia this has been the case. It’s just the culture and what things are so just expect it.

Amazing place to stay on Nusa Penida. The chalets are excellent, a very comfortable few days spent there. Comfy bed, good AC, very clean and spacious. The area was in the main harbour area of Nusa Penida but just outside so that there was no busy roads near the accommodation. It was a great base for our few days on the island. Mr Jingga was a fantastic host helping us organise a motorbike for our stay and our onwards travel. A dog lover too which was lovely to see!! 🐩

Chickens were fairly lively at dawn so light sleepers May ear plugs but only for a short time.

Jingga’s place is awesome. For this price, it is hard to find better. The location is 5 minutes away from the restaurants, the beach and dive shops. It is far from the noises, within the locally owned houses. The bungalow is very clean, the a/c worked great, bed was comfortable, you have two drying racks. Big bathroom. No hot water but warm enough (who wants hot water at this temperature?). Don’t hesitate to ask Jingga for what you need, he has contacts and can arrange activities at a great price (scooter, ferry tickets, snorkeling, scuba diving). Take the time to chill with him and let yourself enjoy present moment while listening to him playing guitar.

It’s not about the place, it’s more about Nusa Penida power outages that are frequent. I suggest you get a hand fan. We did miss electricity 2 times but it got back for the night.

Beautiful place, clean, new, you got everything you need there and more! Jingga is such a cool guy, super friendly and helpful with anything you need. You can book anything through him, from motorbike, trips around the island or ferry somewhere else :) Honestly best stay we had for a very long time, thanks for everything :)

The property is located in amongst beautiful green nature with lovely views looking out onto the garden. The room was very clean and had a very comfortable big bed for a good nights sleep. Jingga is an extremely welcoming, kind host who is happy to help with any inquiries you have and set you up with anything you may need (laundry, scooter etc). Really great stay for a very affordable price! Would highly recommend for a great stay in beautiful Penida.

Nothing - a perfect stay!

I really like the vibe of this homestay when you staying around with the local. The host - Jingga was very helpful that helped us to book the snorkeling tour and boat ticket from Nusa Penida. The room was cleaned everyday.

The place was a bit tricky if we had to find it the first time by ourselves but after that we always having fun riding the bike back to the homestay.

Jingga's property is beautiful. The guest houses are really cozy and have everything you need. I spend a whole evening drinking a beer and playing guitar and singing to songs with Jingga which was amazing. I cannot recommend this property more.

The cocks are really loud in the morning, so make sure to bring ear plugs. This applies to everywhere in Nusa Penida though, and not just to this property.

Very helpful staff with finding the location. Clean and quiet. Good place when we felt a little ill and needed a relaxing stay. Bed is comfy and mosquito nets are a great addition. Rooms are basic but for this price perfect. Air con worked perfectly well.

Cockerels were loud nearby but that cannot be helped by the property of course, just be prepared for a morning alarm!
