Lovely huts at the beach. Good facilities; very nice staff. Breakfast was a bit basic, but did the job. We asked for a very early breakfast as we had a snorkelling trip booked in the morning, and they were very accommodating and helpful, bringing food right on time. The room and bathroom were very clean. You can book massage and/or facial with reception - if you like deep tissue massage we highly recommend the Thai one. The place is very close to the ferry harbour, but a bit tricky to get to. If you have suitcases, don't take the path from the ferry which takes you along the beach. Walk out to the main road instead (called Jl. Raya Toya Pakeh - Ped), walk for about 10mins and when you reach Deddari Buddha Bowls and The Caliber Burger immediately turn left into a footpath amongst trees. The footpath will wind to the left and the first property you'll reach will be Mantra Villa, and just next to it - Santen Beach Bungalows. Although the whole route takes a bit longer, you're mainly on a road with asphalt, and the last bit on the footpath is really short, so all in all much easier for suitcases than the direct route from the harbour along the beach.

Right in front of the beach so I can hear the wave at all time , they gave us breakfast earlier due to our tour, receptionist was amazing quickly answer all my questions before arrival and also help to book our ferry tickets at very reasonable price , nice very cold air conditioning , if you don’t have much luggage you can walk to the property, not a straight walk but you can find it on google map

Lighting in room was dark can be lighter and mosquitoe net need to be washed the top was so dirty , a slight strange smell in the room ,

Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking to the sea every morning was blissful. No blasting rock music or crowds of tourists. Best sunsets! Easy access to diving and restaurants. Shower was hot and room was cool. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond and tools care of our every need. I loved staying here so much. Loved it!!

This is a real Indonesia experience. It’s not a resort. It’s rustic bungalows on the beach. To that end, don’t overpay for what you’re getting! There was loud hammering from some kind of construction at night until 10pm our first night and burning of trash which made it uncomfortable to sit outside at times because of the smoke. No fault of the property owner and well, if you don’t want to experience Indonesia, go somewhere else. The small inconveniences are part of visiting this island.

This was the BEST place we stayed on our entire trip! The staff was SO wonderful, the bed so comfortable, the beach so beautiful, and we LOVED the kitties .. they were the highlight of our day. We left the staff a little food to feed them, would be so amazing if the owner could continue to supply the staff to take care of them. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely zero complaints!

The bungalows at the beach are simple and lovely. Just a couple of steps down from the bungalow and you meet a quite clean beach and ocean where you can swim around but not too far as there are still some old poles left from when there was active fishing operations at the beach. The sunset is magical. The location is close to the main harbour but quite a walk from the more crowded beach clubs.

The bungalows are simple so don't expect a big bathroom and bedroom. As most of nusa penida the area can feel a bit quiet and sketchy at night

The first row beach location is amazing! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, beachfront terrace breakfast impecable. For a one night stay in Nusa Penida from our travels in Bali this was a nice treat. Next door there is the turtle rescue center. Don't miss this experience and ask the wonderfull people working there about their amazing work.

The facility was great. The staff were super friendly. It was easy to get there from the boat. The staff were sweet. It is right on the beach. So beautiful!

This has nothing to do with accommodation. I am not sure what they could change all the dogs. But having to walk in the dark back to the accommodation with all the dogs was unnerving. There was a lot of barking.

Nice accommodation if you come with the right expectation - this is not a resort. The place is kind of hidden, so a small backroad has to be used to access it. Once there, it is rather quiet, you can enjoy a beautiful night sky, the harbor is very close, restaurants are a few minutes away by scooter. The room is cool at night, cleaned every day, beds very comfy, breakfast tasty. Incredibly kind and helpful staff!

The sea directly in front of the bungalows is not very good for swimming, you have to be careful where you're stepping due to stones and some installation (crab trap?) by the fishermen.

Absolutely wonderful Location right on the water. The main bedroom area is cozy and more spacious than I expected. It truly is a luxurious hut! Breakfast was wonderful- served on your private patio each day. Oh- and two small dogs on the property made our stay that much more pleasant!

The bathroom needed a little help - and so Little to make it very Comfortable! The bathroom faucet was very hard to turn in and off - it was a bit corroded and it could use to be fixed or replaced. The sink is probably a little too small- it’s really the sink area - a modern shower head and ensuring that the toilet smells fresh and is also modern. So we didn’t like the feel of those things in the bathroom- the tile is lovely- the entire room looks lovely- just a little maintenance in the bathroom would have changed my review to a 10!

Unique beachfront, close to Banjar Nhua harbour. To hear the sound of the waves each night was really soothing and relaxing. Beds were beautifully comfortable.

Although technically the location is fantastic beachfront, it was really tricky to find initially, and hell for drivers to get in and out through the tiniest of gangs/laneways. With another house being built across one of the access lanes, I wonder how a car could get in and out in the future? Bathrooms were clean but very basic.
