It is in a great location, especially for those who love diving, as it is close to several diving centres in Nusa Penida. The host (Mr Gede) was so welcoming and even waited for us due to our late arrival. The room was cleaned every day. We loved the breakfast (banana pancake with strong Balinese coffee). We were impressed with how good the Wifi connection was. We enjoyed our stay here.

It can be a little hard to find, especially for first-time visitors. The bungalow can be accessed via a much quicker route off the main road. It would be advisable to have a torchlight as the path is dark in the evening, although it is safe to walk.

The host was an amazing guy, and his family were experts in hospitality. They made us breakfast, lunch and diner for a good price. The host explains lots of things about the culture if you are interested. He even brought us to a traditional ceremony together with his son. The accommodation itself was clean, and you can really find yourself in peace here. That is if you like to be in nature. In the night, you will hear animals (birds and geckos), and the roof can be quite noisy. Also, there are lots of insects outside, and we encountered a spider in the bathroom. This was a very fun experience for us, and we would recommend this to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at our bungalow. It was such a cosy cabin and Gede was an incredible host. He gave us great tips about the island and was in general such a lovely person. Always in for a talk and we even got to taste fruits from the garden. He also took us on a trip to Tembeling beach which was really cool. The bungalow is close to lots of restaurants and the beach. In the night it was really quiet so we could relax. The beds were good and the shower had good pressure with warm water. In the morning we were provided with a basic, but good breakfast for a small price. Overall a great experience, would recommend! :)

Kubu Artha is a wonderful place. The bungalows are very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very large and sometimes there was warm water. But who needs warm water with these temperatures... The room is cleaned daily and the wonderful owners are kind enough to leave fresh mangos and coconuts in the room. At night the place is quiet despite it being close to an area with shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Also the wifi is really good and fast. The location for me was perfect. Not too far from the port and close to the beach and relaxed beach clubs. I rented a scooter to explored the rest of the island. Kubu Artha can help arranging everything and the communication is friendly and fast. Initially I booked for 5 nights, but ended up staying 12 nights. So highly recommended from my side. Excellent value for money and I would definitely book again.

I made a small suggestion to Gede the owner and that is to eventually look into putting a small fridge in the room. It would be great to be able to cool some water / beers / soda's or melt sensitive candies ;). However I understand this cannot be realised easily and it would definitely NOT be a deal breaker for me to return to lovely Kubu Artha. And if you want stuff cooled then Gede offers to use a general fridge which he has on the premises.

really close to nature, almost in the jungle, very calm and quiet. friendly host, delicious banana pancake and pineapple juice fresh from their garden. room was clean and spacious, ac working well.

the location is ok if you have a motorbike, not comfortable for walking or even with car. there was no furniture to put on bags or clother, no hanger, this should be added for comfort.

Really fantastic hosts. Gede and his wife were really kind and helped us to book taxis and rent scooters. They provided delicious breakfast every day, at whatever time we wanted. Very peaceful and quiet stay away from the main road and really excellent value for money. Amazing location, walkable to the beach and bars/restaurants. Beach clubs and dive centres are also within walking distance. A short taxi to either port for ferries. The nearby beach has beautiful sunsets. Clean and spacious rooms with balconies and privacy

Kubu Artha is set away in the jungle in a very peaceful but only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. very close to beach clubs which let you use their loungers etc if you buy a drink, and very close to a lot of dive centres. the beds were comfortable, the aircon was good and nice and quiet. Gede could not have been more helpful with helping arrange our departure back to Bali

Gede was a super nice host! He arranged good tours to a reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious and on top, Gede has the best mangos and coconuts in his garden. The room was clean, the space enough, the area in front of the room was nice too. It's close to the beach (3 mins walking), where you have great restaurants, and to the Banjar Nyuh harbour (walking 25 mins).

The room was quite dark, not many lights, and looked quite practical, but not very lovely. But this is complaining on a very high level, we definitely recommend staying here!

The bungalows are located in greenery, just a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. The owner is nice and helpful. Upon arrival, we received a free fresh coconut, which we could pick from the tree ourselves. Every morning, they bring breakfast directly to your bungalow at the time you prefer. They also provide scooter rentals at a good price. WiFi and the air conditioning works well.

The location is literally in the middle of the jungle with nothing surrounding it. You would need your own scooter or then pay for the driver, otherwise it’s hard to get anywhere from there and I would’ve personally been scared to walk back in the night. The AC was not working too well!
