Food at the Sail was more palatable than at the Kliff. Breakfast's always the same spread - buffet style. Room's spacious and bed's quite comfortable. Great view depending on the room booked. Nearest 24 mini-mart is about 10 minutes walk away, depending on your pace of walking. Good to stock up your snacks from this mart. Gym's at the rooftop and is relatively well equipped. Great access to the beach, But bring your booties as it's reef rock bottom and not sandy bottom. There are two pools and the infinity pool where the pool bar and towel stand are, naturally is the more popular one. You can order food in (from other joints like Molly's Bar and Grill or Omah Cobek (or others) if you get bored from eating the same old food from the resort's restaurants.

The sunloungers could have been better maintained as they were relatively dirty (lizard and bird poo). Didn't feel good lying on it even though the towel was placed on it. There were only four pool umbrellas and these are insufficient given the total number of sun loungers at both pools. Towels in the room had a cigarette smell on them. 😒 Can't stand inconsiderate guests who dropped/throwed the heavy thumbs bell instead of putting them slowly on the gym mats - it made loud thumping noises in the night (my room was right below the gym).

I have been to 50 countries and about 200 hotels. This was one of the best. - beautiful hotel complex, not too big, not too small - amazing pools, cleaned daily - fantastic breakfast buffet, fresh and delicious options - stunning sunsets - superb gym, never seen a better one in a hotel! - exceptional staff, from the cleaning crew all the way up to the hotel manager - spacious, sparkling clean rooms (even the bed sheets are changed daily) - fast, reliable WiFi - semi private beach (you could technically walk up the beach from another hotel but its the last one before a cliff so only from one side) and reef, perfect for snorkeling (turtles!) - plenty of sunbeds by the pools - True, it's on the pricey side but here you definitely get what you pay for which is an exceptional stay - The area which the resort is located in doesn't offer much in itself, but you can easily rent a scooter from the place across the street and then it only takes a couple minutes to reach gorgeous beaches, authentic local food stands, mini markets and so on; if you want to go on trips to the Gilis or Secret Gilis, this place is basically smack in middle from the airport, so also a plus because the drive will never be longer than 90 minutes

The property is modern and very well maintained. I stayed in the ocean front room and the view was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make my stay comfortable. A big “thank you” to Desak from the reception who helped to fulfill my request to have lactose free milk in the restaurant (due to my lactose intolerance). I don’t think any other guests requested this before, but with some google research the restaurant got this kind of milk for me next day:) Thank you guys! I also tried Balinese massage in their Spa and I loved it. Ramlah did a great job! ❤️

There is nothing I didn’t like, quite opposite, but if I may suggest one point, I would recommend to add more Indonesian dishes to the Sail restaurant menu. It is very Western oriented at the moment. When I visit Indonesia I want to eat local food and not pizzas or club sandwiches.

The room, location, and service the resort offered. All staff members were friendly and helpful and we were constantly greeted wherever we went. The Cliff restaurant was the best restaurant I have eaten from in all of Indonesia so far and would highly recommend it!

There is very little that I didn't like as I would recommend anyone to go to it if they are in Lombok. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the location of the resort was far from all of our day activities. One of our activities was going to Pink Beach and that alone was a 2-hour drive followed by a 30-minute boat ride. I didn't mind it as I had nothing else to do and enjoyed every moment.

The room we got are big and has good view to the ocean, where you can see the sunset without getting down to the beach. the beach side restaurant is great, where we have breakfast most of the days. Breakfast has good variety and quality is good. Pool and access to beach is great. The tour to the Gili's that we got from the hotel is pretty good, considering that it was only for our family of 4.

There is no convenient store within walkable distance, the hotel can benefit from a mini market that sells a bit of snacks. I'm also not sure about the loud music they play from the pool side bar. I think some of us prefer more tranquility. This is not related to the hotel - we got to Lombok by ferry from Bali. We knew that we overpaid on the car ride from the pier to the hotel but we went with it, because Grab doesn't work at the pier and there is no clear taxi queue system.

The pool and beach location is great and the rooms are a good size (ocean view). The beds are comfortable and the sofa bed was great as it was bed into a bed for our toddler.

Multiple rooms around us had aircon issues (including family members of ours), there was a sewage smell from the room after cleaning but it did go after a few hours. The restaurant food was overpriced and really average as was breakfast. The food at breakfast looked like it was prepared the night before and then put out in the morning so things like cucumber/carrots/eggs Benedict/waffles were very dry. The staff were kind but they struggled to move with speed.

Beautiful hotel, entrance was stunning. Had a villa with pool which was fantastic. Rooms very clean, loved the outdoor shower. Having our own pool was great and it was cleaned every day. Gardens were very well maintained and beautiful. Ate at the Kliff restaurant which was excellent, had John Dory fish and it was delicious. Also had a childrens menu. Beautiful setting.

Own pool could do with a ladder to get in as only 2 steps and quite a drop.The sunbeds around the pool were not enough and taken by Europeans at 6.30 am leaving towels on and then not using them til 11 am. The hotel need to stop this happening. Luckily we had our own pool but if the kids wanted to go in the big pool it was impossible to sit anywhere. The staff at the main restaurant were very slow. Lot of them, but you had to wait to order a long time and keep reminding them of things you ordered.The menu was the same for lunch and in the evening, not a lot of choice for lunchtime snacks.

Incredible stay. We had the Premier Club Room. It was superb. The view of the ocean from our room with the big windows was spectacular. The rooms were so clean. Very spacious. Fantastic breakfast with lots of selection. Very attentive staff. Very nice infinity pool overlooking the ocean with Mt Agung up in the background. I would definitely recommend this place.

A little isolated. You had to catch a taxi to go into town (about 7-10 mins away and very cheap to get there). But this is also part of the charm of Katamarran. It was nice to be away from the busy town. Katamarran should consider doing happy hour.

The hotel offers pleasant facilities, particularly its pool areas, and both breakfast and the dinner restaurant are good. However, it did not quite meet my expectations. I am currently staying at its sister property in Komodo, which I find to be about twice as good as the Lombok location.

The staff are friendly, though some small attention to detail is lacking. The rooms have an unusual layout, with numerous light fixtures but insufficient overall lighting, and they can be somewhat noisy. The beds were quite small size, I am 5’11’ and I couldn’t sleep comfortably. A bit of wear and tear everywhere…
