It may sound like a casual cliche but Qunci Villas is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever been to and I’ve stayed at many top hotels all over the world. It is truly a rare gem that deserves 6 stars for all the key reasons - firstly, the incredibly warm, highly attentive, just beautiful staff who are also great fun!! Then the exquisite design and attention to detail (both physical and experience) - everything from the table decor to the landscaping, artworks in the room and around the pool and grounds, the world class food in all 3 restaurants led by Chef Negri. He’s a real chefs chef and seemed to be almost de facto manager as he was always around, engaging with guests with natural hospitality, humble and the staff clearly really like him, he has some great stories too…and my word can he cook!! The dishes at the seafood restaurant in particular were unbelievably creative and sumptuous on the eye and palette. Then there’s the location, situated in what is definitely one of the most picturesque bays in Sengiggi, far enough away from the main town to feel secluded and peaceful but only a 5-10min drive if you need anything plus there’s a minimart in close walking distance to the hotel. Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel that made our stay truly one of the most memorable of our lives and we can’t wait to come back again and again :)

Lovely groomed garden with small villas distributed throughout. All restaurants had beachview with breakfast seating right at the terrace overlooking the sea. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the outdoor shower.

Getting sand into the rooms is always a problem at beach vacation. In the upstairs room the bathroom got rather wet when it rained.

Quinci Villas totally exceeded our expectations and the photos don't do it justice. It is beautiful and tranquil. The rooms were stunning and the property itself is absolute beach front with gorgeous day and sunset views. We could see a mountain in bali at sunset!! The 3 pools and 3 restaurants were amazing and top quality food! The cocktails were delicious and the service was just amazing! So many day beds so we never had an issue getting one extra plus! Overall an absolute 10/10!!

The location, peace and quiet and the staff were very friendly.

4 out of 5 of us picked up a tummy bug,we were unable to say for certain where it came from but suspect some food hygiene issues or water. It felt like the hotel was at the end of a busy period and had taken a collective sigh, lights didn’t work, there were no mosquito nets until we asked for them and there was fairly intrusive building works going on. Did it detract from our enjoyment, no, but then we are not picky or let things get us down easily.

The breakfast selection is incredibly diverse, catering to people from all corners of the world. With 12 breakfast options from different countries, five healthy meal choices, and seven assorted desserts, there's something for everyone. You can choose any two items for breakfast, ensuring that you won't feel hungry until lunch. With such a lavish breakfast, you can comfortably have just two meals a day! The resort boasts three swimming pools and direct access to the beach, with a surf shop on either side (haggling is encouraged). Additionally, their Italian restaurant comes highly recommended for its delicious food, and the bartenders craft their own cocktails, which are tasty but quite strong. The service is impeccable, attentive, and highly satisfactory, offering great value for money.

Qunci Villas exceeded all our expectations! The luxurious yet cosy accommodation with the three pools with perfect Sunset views and the impeccable service from the whole staff of Qunci was more than perfect. Our days at Qunci went by way to fast so we think we need to go back for another visit. Highly recommended for an indulgent and a never to forget relaxing getaway!

The rooms can do with deep cleaning and some maintenance I.e paints. we had to change rooms as the first one had dead mosquitos on the walls and also lots of wholes and marks everywhere.. also very dirty aircon which was grey and full of spider webs. it looked like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in a while. The room we moved into afterwards was much better. however also here lots of marks everywhere and looked a bit run down in parts. nothing in comparison to the perfect gardens and restaurants and pools!

Breakfast was amazing, the quantity and the quality. The bed is comfortable The infinity pools are great The ocean view is amazing, perfect spot for sunset, the waves breaking right at your feet for dinner, very romantic

Unfortunately, you cannot enjoy the pool as you are being approached every two minutes by vendors trying to sell you bracelets and massage, even while you are in your bikini swimming. That was holding a lot from the privacy, which was the main reason for our stay. At some point we just decided to stay in.
