The staff and the villa was nice. Breakfast was good too.

The sellers staying in front of the restaurant and swimming pool, harassing the people to buy their stuff from 7:00 to 19:00 everyday. They insist and even if you buy from them they will try to sell you something else the day after. They get angry if you buy from another seller etc' they are really aggressive and the staff close their eyes. I understand they need to earn their life, but they are way more too aggressive with the tourists

The surrounding is so beautiful, near to the beach, the resort is clean, the service and facilities is superb.

The food is average. Would be great to have varieties of food selection during breakfast. As for the taste, it is also average, we tried the dinner menu once from the restaurant and we never ordered it again.

- water cooler in the room so you can get filtered and hot water whenever you need - the bed was huge - private and main pools were very good - the main pool had nicer sun loungers - lunch/dinner menu had good variety - sheltered sun bed in our villa - lovely view of the sunset from the beach restaurant/main pool area

- breakfast is really poor, minimal buffet options. We were glad we didn’t have breakfast included as after the first day we decided we would go elsewhere - towels weren’t the best quality - stained/holes - the main road can be loud at times, and be aware you will also hear the call to prayer in the mornings - allergies/dietary requirements didn’t seem to be super well understood - beach sellers always pop up to try and sell you items, although we understand people are trying to make a living, it can be a little repetitive

The place's ambience and decor gives the very cultural vibes. The room was huge and felt grand, make you feel a little like royalty. The staff were friendly and helpful too.The restaurant and pool is beachfront and felt very relaxing and pretty. All basic amenities provided for, including toiletries, hair dryer, water dispenser and mini fridge. Overall worth the price paid.

The breakfast taste is not the best. The noodle and rice option feels msg laden. The egg station was what kept us going to breakfast (an omelette a day), kakak manning the station was very friendly too. The variety is quite alright but the quality is not very consistent. E.g one day the waffles were really hard and the muffin was like kueh but the third day the waffles and muffin were great. Despite that, the hotel tries to change up a few items each day. The tropical fruits and cereal will always be there too. There are mosquitoes in the room but the hotel does make an effort to do fogging so... I guess you just have to put on some repellant.

We loved the villa with our own private pool. It was really spacious and with the two toddlers, had plenty of room. The big shared pool was also great. The staff were lovely.

On booking, the photos make it look like there is a sandy strip in front of the resort, but it's all rocky and nowhere for our kids to play in the sand unless you go further along down the coast and the access to the beach itself was a bit dangerous, so a bit misleading. The breakfasts weren't great.

Everything. We had booked a room, but were upgraded at check in as there was some building work near the room. The new room was exceptional, with a beautiful sea view, and although this room didn`t have a jacuzzi, like the room we had booked, we were able to use that room`s jacuzzi. When the room was made uo each day, flowers were scattered on the bed - very romantic.

Fantastic resort on the beachfront. We booked a Jacuzzi suite with outside plunge pool/jacuzzi which was amazing, the room was large, Private & well appointed. Pool area & grounds were beautiful & well maintained. We enjoyed nice walks along the beach here. The restaurant was exceptional & affordable. But what really made the difference was the staff & management at this resort. We are long time Indonesia travellers and the staff here stood out, they were so helpful & friendly and also surprised us by decorating our room for my wife’s birthday & presenting a cake at the restaurant singing happy birthday, it was an amazing touch as we didn’t tell anyone about this day, but the exceptional reception staff must of seen this detail on our passport & initiated some very special moments for us. The manager Sara took time to introduced herself to us & we had a lovely conversation about the resort, the area & her recommendations during our stay.

Senggigi town itself appeared to be a little rundown with some businesses closed

The rooms are extremely spacious, a key reason I choose to book Puri Mas. But also very well appointed traditional or natural style villas, quiet, clean, private, stunning grounds and exceptional gardens, very friendly and happy garden, restaurant and security staff. The restaurant is right on the ocean front, with high tide waves crashing on the front wall, stunning. We didn't want to leave in the end, so we stayed right up till our 12 noon check out time,.. haha.

We specifically asked for an early check in if possible, normal being 2pm, we were hoping for 11am to 12 noon. However the previous guests in our room failed to check out by 12 noon to allow cleaning staff to service the room. They were still in the room at 12.30. This was not entirely Puri Mas problem, although I know it was their responsibility to have them out by 12 noon. Then when we did come back to the reception close to 2pm, the receptionist didn't remember who we were. Again not a major problem, although it made us fell a little unsettled and wondered what next.? Fortunately no what next...

**Reception:** The reception staff exhibited an exceptionally refined level of hospitality, making you feel as though you are their only guest. Their attentiveness and warmth set a welcoming tone from the moment you arrive. **Restaurant:** The culinary experience was nothing short of exquisite, complemented by a team of professional restaurant staff. They were always available to serve, yet they respected your privacy, allowing for a delightful dining atmosphere. **Cleanliness:** I found it hard to believe that I could leave my room open, with all my belongings inside, while feeling completely at ease and confident that nothing would go missing. This reflects a remarkable level of integrity and security within the resort. **Security:** The security personnel were ever-present, diligently ensuring the safety of guests both within the resort and during outings. Their vigilance provided an added layer of comfort. **Spa:** The spa staff exemplified professionalism and kindness, consistently attending to guests' needs with a caring touch. **General Staff:** Despite their continuous presence, the staff's efficiency was so seamless that you often felt as though they were invisible, expertly fulfilling their roles without intruding on your experience. **Resort Manager:** The resort manager demonstrated a genuine commitment to every guest and staff member. Her meticulous attention to detail and professional demeanor was evident throughout my stay. **Special Circumstance:** During my stay, I unfortunately experienced a health issue, and I was astounded by the immediate response from the medical team. They arrived at my room promptly, conducting all necessary tests and examinations with remarkable care. Their continuous follow-up on my condition was exceptional. All departments staff showcasing the dedication and asking about the improvement. **Resort:** The location is breathtaking, the facilities are top-notch, and the pricing is astonishingly reasonable.

Absolutely beautiful resort, a real slice of paradise. Perfect for that special wedding anniversary, engagement etc. The food was gorgeous, and the cocktails , the restaurant is in the perfect place to watch the sunset . The photos just don't come close to showing the beauty of this little resort. Also, the hotel has its own award winning spa. It's perfect for couples. The gardens are so pretty, lots of little birds singing. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, beautiful decor. The staff..... the icing on the cake, every single one was happy, friendly, always happy to help, greet you with a smile and a friendly word. Breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel, fantastic selection and cooked fresh while you wait. The manager Sara is always about, meeting guests, taking time to get to know you by name, perfect host, thank you Sara for everything, we hope to meet you again soon.
