With our two children, we felt truly welcome from day one. The family is genuinely warm and helpful: the eldest son took us on a walk through the rice fields and to a traditional sarong weaving workshop, and the youngest son helped our son make his kite. When our daughter burned herself to a scooter exhaust pipe, she was immediately cared for with love and professionalism by the owner, who happened to be a nurse. The food was delicious, enjoyed on our private patio with a beautiful view of the pool. They tipped us a very good silver craftsman who helped us create beautiful silver rings for a good price. All in all a warm, authentic vibe – an absolute must-stay!

Krishna Hs and Cottages was a friendly, comfortable and well-located place to stay in Sidemen. We loved our cottage with private porch including a chaise lounge, table & chairs + filtered water dispenser, with a rural view. The gardens were beautiful and the pool very clean. Staff were helpful with making arrangements for activities and onward travel. We enjoyed the farm walk (& local business visits) with Khrishna, who is a great communicator with a lot of knowledge to share; highly recommended. We appreciated that we could access cash from their office if required, as the atm was not close. However, many places accepted card payment, mainly not Wurungs and some smaller shops/markets. Reasonable walk to many nice eating options, from Wurungs to more upmarket cafes and restaurants as well as shopping.

We found the cooked breakfasts ordered were not hot when received and not of the standard we experienced elsewhere during our three weeks in Bali.

I had a lovely room near the swimming pool but surrounded by tropical vegetation. The room was big and clean and the bed was firm. I had my breakfast on the balcony, which had a great view. The breakfast was amazing and generous - coffee, omelette, toast and either a platter of fruit or a fresh fruit juice. The pool was lovely. I went on a great motorbike tour of the surrounding area which was very beautiful. This was done by the owner's son, and I was also taken to a weaving place to learn how this was done. It was really interesting. There was a traditional local market nearby. The accommodation is not far from the village in one direction, or lovely rice fields and restaurants in the other. Great for walks. The family that run this place are lovely and so helpful. The area of Sidemen is all villages and has a very traditional Balinese vibe.

We had a lovely large room with an outdoor shower area with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and we opted to eat all our meals on our veranda. The juices are so great as the fruit used is grown on the property. Everything we needed was there and is a perfect place to switch off and relax. The AC was a new addition and was very controllable. My wife had a facial and said it was very relaxing. Wayan, his family and staff are all so friendly and helpful. A great place to unwind.

I would’ve like to know he was building some new units. On a couple of days they started work before 8am too early.

Property was well maintained and set beautifully in natural surroundings. Fruit trees and butterflies everywhere! Rooms were clean, comfortable and simple with everything you need. Beds were comfy and aircon worked well. Pool was clean and refreshing and the kids loved jumping in! We had breakfast on our balcony area but there was also a raised eating area to sit with other guests. Pinpin, his family and staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and had a lovely time. They also helped us on our last morning when we were having trouble extending our visa, which was priceless! Such a great experience we are very GREATFULL (iykyk) Our 5th time in Bali but first time in Sideman - we loved how quiet and more traditional it was. The food we had was exceptional and everyone so friendly

Loved my stay here. All the bungalows are set in wonderfully lush gardens. I felt my bungalow (8) was the best as it was at the back of the property which offered real privacy.  The space is very basic but charming and very clean. The bungalow is dark wood. The bottom half of the wall has been painted white. Although its not a neat job the effect was still pleasant. Enjoyed that the terrace had a day bed and a table (where you could choose to have your breakfast if you preferred it over the restaurant space by the lovely pool). Food and drinks on offer. There is a little open air kitchenette where you can make tea etc. Unfortunately the kitchen is in the way of the view from the side window. But again the whole is so nice i didn't mind.  Location is set back a little from the noisy main road. Only 5-10 min walk to plenty of restaurants.  It was a real pleasure to do walk through the rice fields with the owner's son. Unless you need polished luxury i can recommend!

The location, the pool and the bungalows: amazing. Breakfast on your own little patio: very dreamy. The pictures don't really capture how pretty it is. And the owners can basically arrange anything for you. Just a quick walk from some nice restaurants. And i felt very safe, both in Sidemen and in the hotel.

Prices for transport and tour are a little steep compared to other places. You basically pay for the convenience of not having to arrange anything yourself. Which to me is fine. The downside of such a pretty spot close to nature: ants and other bugs. The ants somehow even got into the bed at night. And into my backpack. So i left very itchy.

Great value for money. Good location & Pinpin & staff were wonderful. Very efficient & super helpful & friendly. This is a lovely, rustic homestay, not a five star resort, so don’t expect a slick, modern, sterile room. Do expect lush gardens all around & all the basics you need (aircon, great pool, hot water, etc.). Walls are thin, one or two tiles are cracked & you’ll prob get the odd gecko or insect visiting as you’re surrounded by greenery but you’ll also see huge black butterflies flitting around! I’m an older solo female traveller & found it safe & easy to walk to local warungs, money changers, etc. Oh! And loved the rice terrace trek.

I booked and last minute Stay at this hotel and actually was the best thing that could have happened to me. Khrishma is locaties a bit outside of Sidemen but easily reachable with a scooter. They welcomed me super good and I was immediately relaxed. The room was do spacious and cosy. Everything was super clean and the staff is Nice. A big bonus for me was the inhouse restaurant and Breakfast which you can use while sitting on your terrace. The swimming pool was clean and has a Nice setting. Looking for a Stay in Tulamben, come to Khrishma! 10/10 recommend

The location allowed me to walk to close by warungs and cafes as well as centre of town. Loved the gardens looking out at a jungle wonderland. My room was private with a roomy balcony

Some of the paths were very slippery in rain. Very short with towel supply (more supplied on request) . Not a problem with this specific property but keep in mind the only ATM in this town is very far walk from most accomodation.
