Clean , nice Balinese athmosphere , very friendly helpful staff , nice breakfast

With my almost 80 age I had two trips/almost falls in the bathroom . Very slippery floor .. Fortunately nothing broken as per x-ray . But : Bathroom is huge , nice clean , but with shower/bathtub difficult to climb for older people . And nothing rail or handgrip to hold on . We suggest to mount handgrips all around on all walls specially around the bathtub area . “Rough “ new bathroom floortiles would be good !

Our room was good and big but needed upgrading especially the bathroom. Very quiet except for the air conditioning! Other rooms were upgraded.

Staff went out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome. We cancelled a day of sightseeing because my wife was feeling unwell. We arrived at the property at 10.00am quite happy to find a place to sit and wait for check in at 2.00. Seeing my wife was unwell, the manager got on the phone to organise a room to be prepared quickly, took us through the check in process, showed us around the property and then took us to our room. Whenever any of the staff saw me that they day they all asked how my wife was going. Thats amazing service.

Dewangga is an Oasis within the heart of Ubud. It transports you away from the hustle and bustle to a relaxing safe retreat of excellence. We just completely love Dewangga Ubud. This is our second time staying and we will not hesitate to stay here again and again. Here you feel looked after and safe. Dewangga has pride and you can feel their care. We were so well looked after, communication by Firna the amenities and the entire staff are absolutely incredible- They made us feel like we were and are part of their Bali family. You can feel that they completely love Dewangga too. From our arrival we were looked after with pick up from the airport by Ketut to our now second home in Bali Dewangga. From this assisting with transportation, my birthday surprise by Agi and other staff at breakfast, to quality service of Anni and all staff to a themed Bali night of Barong Dancing Show held at Dewangga as a special event with a many course traditional Bali meal that was obviously made with love ❤️ for the attendees , to the quality room and comfortable bed, breakfasts cooked amazingly ( Well done cooks!! 👍), the exceptional massages that I would love to turn back the clock and start the massage all over again, to the quality breakfasts and divine pool. As I said Dewangga is everything we could possibly asked for and more in a stay in Ubud and surrounds. We thank Dewangga and all staff for making our Bali holiday again amazing! We will see you again next time our Dewangga Bali Family ! ❤️🙏

This place is a paradise! It is a large property, a real garden, with lots and lots of vegetation, fish ponds and different types of villas. We had a room-villa type, with bathroom and dressing downstairs and the beds upstairs. The personnel is extremely kind and they do their best to make you feel welcome and meet your needs. The location is perfect , in the middle of everything but also quiet....except for the nocturnal noises made by wild fauna (birds, frogs) but then again...it.s paradise! The room was very spacious, the villa had 2 terraces, a large bathroom and a dressing. Everything was clean and cleaning was done everyday. The pool was very clean and the water was worm. All in all, i was super impressed by the room we had and i would come back anytime!

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel, which is located a few minutes walk from the centre of Ubud with its many restaurants, shops, craft stalls and temples. Excellent art galleries such as ARMA and Neka are a few minutes away by Grab taxi (make sure you get the app) which only costs a couple of pounds. The room was large, spotlessly clean and we had twin beds and a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was excellent, whether the eggs and bacon, etc., or the delicious fruit smoothie, which looked as beautiful as it tasted. Other meals were fine, or lots of restaurants nearby. There are plants and flowers and fish ponds everywhere throughout the hotel, but we were not bothered by mosquitoes. The pool is small, but great to dip in to cool off. Tip: An hour north is the lovely Firefly gardens - well worth a visit early evening and it is in hardly any guide books.

The shampoo hardly lathered at all. Wish we had brought our own. The pool is quite slippery - do be careful. N.B. Not a criticism - just a comment. There are steps everywhere in Bali, whether going to hotel reception, into your room, or visiting a temple, or art gallery. The hotel staff were great - often bringing us the key from the reception desk, but Bali is not easy if you have mobility issues.

You are located in the Heart of UBUD and it is very easy to get everywhere like the museum, the monkey forest and the good restaurants and bars. Rooms are nice and big and the staff is very friendly.

the bath tub was clocked and not very clean, looked a bit old the bathroom. The breakfast was not very satisfying thatswhy we tried it only the first day and never ate there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The staff and manager absolutely bent over backwards to help us in any way they could and I really appreciated the personal touch. Our rooms were lovely, our bed was HUGE, the air con was nice and cold, and the bathroom facilities were great too. The location is fabulous, in walking distance to so many restaurants, shops etc, but in your room it was so lovely and quiet and you wouldn't know you were in the heart of Ubud. We also had our laundry done there, as they have their own service which was very handy, and it was great and very reasonably priced. The manager also invited us to a traditional Bali dance/music afternoon, with food and drink provided and it was a highlight of our trip and another way in which we were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely be back next time we go to Ubud!

They're currently building new rooms (I think) so I'm not sure if it's planned, but an upgrade on the pool area would probably be a good idea as there currently isn't a lot of spaces for lounges. Also, providing some more towels would be great, or at least a nice big bath mat in the bathroom as the floor can get slippery. I find towel supply to be an issue in most Bali hotels though

Dewangga is a beautiful hotel. We choose it for the location and couldn’t have got better, right in the centre of Ubud but I was amazed how quiet it was. The best thing about the hotel was the staff, Widhy and the team went out of their way to make sure we were made to feel so welcome.

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, could often see monkeys playing in the trees outside the wall while eating. Very comfortable rooms and great location between market Street and eat Street.

Would suggest a ground floor room in the newer part or any room in the older part. We had an upstairs room with access via very steep uneven steps in the newer part of the facility which felt a little unsafe, particularly when decending. Poor water flow to the room and no safe available in the room
