I love the location of this place, for me is perfect. Is a big room with plenty of space. They had an extension for the plugs that was super handy. For the location is very quite!

The bathroom should have a brighter and/or white light, how it was dark even at day the light didn't help much. Also the door of the bathroom wasn't that clean as it was metallic and it gets wet by the shower every time. Same as many places they should put a small glass between the toilet and the shower because everything gets wet. Drain of the shower also wasn't running properly so I had to stop the shower a few times, not big deal.

I absolutely adore this hidden gem of a guesthouse. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the family made me feel right at home. Not only are the rooms impeccably clean and well-maintained, but the entire guesthouse exudes a sense of care and attention to detail that is truly commendable. The central location of this guesthouse is simply perfect, offering convenience without sacrificing tranquillity. The peaceful and serene ambience has had such a profound effect on me that my usual 7-8 hours of sleep have gracefully extended to a luxurious 10-12 hours each night. It's as if time slows down in this blissful oasis. One of my favourite features of this guesthouse is the inviting communal sitting area, where guests can unwind and connect with others. The shared kitchen facilities also provide the convenience of preparing light meals and beverages, adding an extra touch of homeliness to the stay. What was initially planned as a brief 2-day visit quickly transformed into a 2-day extension, and before I knew it, I found myself extending my stay to 2.5 more weeks. I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful memories and rejuvenating experience this guesthouse has provided me.

The location is fantastic. It was the best location as in the centre of Ubud, down a street full of wonderful little shops and great restaurants and cafes. It’s close to everything in Ubud and reachable by walking or by scooter. Yet the property is so quiet and tranquil. The property is old but ever so beautiful, authentic and traditional

I would have loved my room to be cleaned and towels changed everyday. Would also be nice to have coffee and tea-making facilities. This would be especially appreciated when going on early morning excursions.

I particularly loved the traditional architecture and furnishings, which added to the overall charm of the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a great night's sleep. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the comfortable bed and high-quality linens. I also loved the fact that the room was well-lit, spacious and had a great view of the surrounding area. One of the best things about Dono Guest House was definitely the value for money. The price was incredibly reasonable given the quality of the accommodations and level of service I received. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Ubud. Overall, my experience at Dono Guest House was truly exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Ubud. With its friendly staff, beautiful design, clean rooms and great value for money, it really has everything you need for a memorable stay in Bali.

Wifi not the best

I was pleasantly surprised that you could find such a very clean, comfortable guest house in walking distance to many of the attractions. Plenty of hot water. The AC works well and the room is spacious .The staff are the best. They offered to clean my room regularly and are quite knowledgeable of the attractions and are able to get you good deals on tours or taxis. The host family couldn't be any lovelier. I highly recommend this homestay if you want to stay in central Ubud. I will certainly return.

All was great

Great value for the money and perfect central location, good AC in the room cooler really fast, Its clean. The water was good. The bed is comfy. I personally liked the view on the family garden temple it looks very calming. The stuff was very friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay here, actually extended our stay by a night too. The location is perfect, the room is large with great A/C. The staff are amazing, so helpful. We were late arriving to the guest house and they facilitated late check in for us. They also organised a great tour around Ubud for us. Highly recommend staying here.

I spent 1 month last year here and now 2 weeks, im glad to come back every time, is clean, private, big rooms, air conditioner. Is in Ubud center, one can walk everywhere. Is very quiet and silent place. Have a small kitchen and tables available.

We had a great stay at the Dono Guest House. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Guest house located in centre of Ubud so within walking distance to some of the main attractions like ubud palace, yoga barn and the monkey garden
