Great value if you're after something basic and not planning to spend a lot of time at your accommodation. Big room, comfy beds, mosquito nets, fridge. Big bathroom with lots of bench space. For breakfast they catered for my celiac friend with gluten free omelet and potato. They gave us a thermos of hot water each day, with tea, coffee and sugar available (no milk). No toiletries, and towels/curtains were worn out, but as I'm more concerned about the environment than feeling special, that's going in the Pro's list 😊 The pool was green when we arrived, but I mentioned it via booking.com and it was fixed the next day.

The family who presumably owned the land were very separate, and the young men who worked there were usually hard to find. I ended up communicating via Booking.com - I recommend asking for a WhatsApp number upon arrival. They never asked us about tours etc, so if you want advice or a chat, it's not the place for you. There was no common space except 2 chairs beside the pool.

Great property if on budget ! Breakfast was delicious and made as quick and early in the morning. Property was clean. Basic toiletries were provided however no Towels in the room or shower gel. Staff was brilliant ! Very friendly and understanding. Overall, its a great value for money the balcony views and swimming pool was great (pool temperature was just good for swimming). Would definitely recommend the property overall :)

The place is very nice, clean, and in the central location. The AC and Wifi work perfectly. Those guys who work there are very nice and helpful. They insisted to help me take my luggage to the second floor, even if I wanted to do it on my own. Every morning, they cooked great breakfast.

Wonderful guest house with basic facilities. I took a room here for a month to cowork from Bali. The room had a desk and on trust provided me with a computer chair. Internet was great in tbt AM when I needed it, a little patchy in the PM.

Raka House is by far my favourite homestay in all of Bali! The location is excellent, the family who runs it is absolutely incredible. So kind, accommodating and great communication. As a single woman traveling I felt extremely safe and at home. I kept coming back again and again after traveling different parts of the island. I will absolutely be back! I liked everything room 7 is my favorite. Loved the family they are so helpful and so friendly! The value for money was so great as well! Location location and location was perfect very central and easy to walk to everything, and yet a very quiet atmosphere as it’s down a small road. Can’t recommend Raka House enough! Also they always have coffee and tea for you all morning and day and the breakfast and fresh fruit is awesome!

Stayed here for 3 days, really happy with the price. Breakfast was lovely. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I brought a self pumped mattress on holiday so it was not a problem. Staff are very friendly. It was in a great location too. 💫💫💫💫 Four stars from me as budget friendly. L

Rooms were clean and a decent size Location was perfect and you could also hire a scooter from them. Breakfast was included and you was also given hot drinking water for tea/coffee.

A big dog is always kept in a cage, whilst another dog is running around. This may not bother some people but to us it felt unfair as it was never out.

Location is ideal to exploring Ubud. Tucked off a busy street and quiet. Its a family home rich in tradition, so multiple offerings happening daily. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Breakfast was served daily! We had room 1 which felt like the pool was all ours.

Everything was perfect during my stay. Stuff is very friendly. The room i ve got had a big authentic balcony with a view. Every morning there where hot water in a pot and the coffee on the table. The location was perfect. In a city center close to everything but at the dame time it was very peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, im gonna miss that one. Thank u very much! we booked this hotel for 2 nights but ended up with 10 days stay. I felt like being with my family and visiting a dearest cousin or … Anung is an exceptional human-being with so much peace in her soul that passes it right through you. Raka house is run by a family living in the property and constantly looking for their guests. Rest of the staff… so friendly, polite, humble. I totally recommend this place and don’t expect a usual hotel room. you will be part of the family in no time. Let’s say they are Bali when it’s best. love them all and will return when I get the chance to visit Bali again.
