very helpful staff, good breakfast, has no restaurant apart from breakfast but staff ordered in a takeaway for us for dinner, good size rooms overlooking the pool, clean and in traditional Balinese style. Close to the centre but once off the street its a different peaceful world

No tea making in the room but staff were happy to provide if asked Pool was out of action for more than a day for chlorination but that cant be helped

Pros: The total ambiance of Awan Bali House was so relaxing. We were lucky enough to get room 6 right in front of the pool… With Balinese style furnishings & Bali artwork everywhere. I also loved the tropical flowers & plants. Their staff are so nice & warm, almost treats you like family! Breakfast was nice, vegetarian. I loved the watermelon juice 👍🏽 Location was perfect , right in the heart of Ubud. You are surrounded with shrines dedicated to their ancestors & gods where they pray daily & make simple offerings like marigold flowers & candles, incense burning…it was a very spiritual experience. Cons: Be careful of narrow sidewalks & roads when you’re walking or riding your scooter

Fabulous clean accommodation, centrally situated. Traditional Bali style complex providing a relaxing and serene atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and always at hand should you need anything. Nice and quiet on escaping the bustle of city life, with fresh breakfast to order at time to suit you. A little slice of heaven. Thank you to all at Awan Bali, I hope to visit again one day 💙

The bed was a little too hard for me, but I'm used to a soft bed and eventually adapted to it. It would be nice to have complimentary water added to the fridge each day , that said there is a Mart close by where you can purchase cheaply.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, close enough to the Main Street in Ubud to be able to walk to shops and restaurants in a couple minutes but far enough that it was quiet and you couldn’t hear the traffic or people once in the property. Good WiFi and strong A/C, laundry service was prompt and inexpensive.

Our first room had no soap, the shower water pressure wasn’t great

The hotel is a little bit hidden within a small street, but our room was really nice and clean, the bed absolutely comfortable. In the surrounding area you have many restaurants, a big shopping mall and you can also walk to the beach. The pool area looks really nice. We did not have breakfast. We stayed 1 night before heading to the airport and it was just a perfect layover location.

I think this place is a hidden gem in Ubud center. Location couldn't be more convenient. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and market. It's a traditional Balinese housing complex, but ran very professionally in my opinion. Staff is attentive, friendly and always willing to help. The garden and pool just beautifully maintained and very clean. Room was great too. I enjoyed the breakfast. And all that for such a low price! I couldn't believe it :)

If I could give one advice is to install a drinking water dispenser to reduce plastic bottle waste on Bali. But I have no real complains about this place.

I love this place! It was cheaper than most other places ive stayed at in bali so my expectation was low but it pleasantly surprised me! Its the cleanest out of all the accommodations, not just in my room but the whole property. The staff are very well organised. Theres always someone there to help. Its a Balianese style place which adds to the charm. The location is amazing, on one of the main shopping strips with lots of restaurants, shops, and essential amenities within walking distance. Just so convenient!

Great location for being able to walk around central Ubud. Close to lots of shops and restaurants, but the place itself was really quiet and away from all the noise.

The only downside was that we were in a room on the ground floor overlooking the pool and central area which meant we had to have our curtains closed almost all the time.
