The location of the hotel is wonderful. Located directly in the art market. However, this is also a bit of a disadvantage. You're right in the middle of it, you never find peace and quiet here. In general, this is probably difficult in the noisy and crowded Ubud. What's more, there are various houses that live on the neighboring properties and start going full throttle an hour before sunrise and don't stop until long after sunrise. You can completely forget about sleeping in here, and the windows are far too bright. You can really hear every noise from outside as if you were standing next to it. The grounds are beautiful. The pool invites you to relax. Which is great after a night without sleep. However, it can happen that a gang of monkeys roams the grounds. Then the peace and quiet is over. But this includes all places in Ubud due to the near monkey forest. The rooms are very clean and perfectly adequate. The shower is huge and spacious. The water pressure could be stronger. The towels really stink, even if they are freshly cleaned. All in all ok for the money you get, but definitely take earplugs with you when staying overnight.

Stayed here over Christmas and it was lovely! Great location . The market is right there and the money forest is close by. Lots of restaurants and bars a short walking distance. Room was very big and clean! Also had a little fridge which is a bonus! Also has 2 pools, great when one was a bit more busy!

There wasn’t enough chairs by the pool, so we didn’t get to use it as much. Went for a massage, good price but a little too heavy handed for me. My partner and I were in the same room and the two ladies proceeded to have a conversation in the middle of our massage which was quite uncomfortable. But still a really nice hotel and will definitely come back.

Absolutely everything! For me it was the best accommodation we had for the last 2 weeks on Bali as it had the best ratio money for value, excellent location in Ubud, nice warm welcoming stuff, amazing pool view and comfortable bed!

Everything was absolutely amazing, I will recommend your place to my friends and if I come again to Bali, I will definitely come again to Padma Ubud Retreat.

Perfect place to stay in Ubud! Centrally located, clean pool, set back behind one of the art markets, an ideal and tranquil environment. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, we decided to stay an extra night and it was no problem. The rooms are a perfect size for a couple, fridge was clean and so were the bathrooms. We will stay here again when returning to Ubud.

I had absolutely beautiful time in Padma Ubud Retreat. This little family hotel stole my heart with its peaceful atmosphere and kindy friendly staff. Everytime I was waking up at 6am just to enjoy slow balinese mornings with beautiful sounds of nature everywhere around. You can also opt for breakfast that will be brought directly to your terrace (I definitely recommend banana pancakes!). Most of the negative reviews I’ve seen I would consider irrelevant - I never had issue with my driver accessing this accomodation and also people complaining about wifi - just try to disconnect for a bit and enjoy little moments in this magical place. If you really need to work in Bali there is crazy amount of wonderful coffeeshops that are perfect working space. I could continue on and on praising this place but you should just go and see yourself. I will be definitely coming back.

The place itself is beautiful. Having 2 pools one of which is an infinity pool and faces the forest. Surrounded by the natural growth. There is Spa on site and very affordable. We had a few treatments and was very impressed.

I have sent the property a few recommendations such as having more sockets in the room, only had three, which was for the fridge and 2 side lamps. Also separate towels for the pools. After using you bath towel to dry yourself from getting out the pool you then have to use the same wet towel to dry yourself from the shower 10 minutes after. And no where to dry your clothes or swimwear.

Great location. Large rooms. Very clean. Great pool with lovely views. Massage therapist was great and well priced for a motel service. Staff were so kind and accommodating. We had wished we had booked for longer!

I Rarely leave reviews but Have to. I'm the type to read HEAPS of reviews to find what 'factors' are Most common good OR bad. This place is RIGHT in the middle of the market lane but a HIDDEN quiet retreat! You wouldn't even know the markets were there! SO peaceful; think infinity pool surrounded by glorious palm trees.....actually dont Think it; it's a thing! Not to mention the 2nd pool! I dont relax easily, but once I sat and Stopped - started loving holiday right NEXT to the pool. VERY clean rooms in classic Balinese style (dont stay if you're looking for 'The Hilton' - we wanted clean rooms in classic balinese style. Has hot water everyday and FRIENDLIEST of staff. Even had a bottle opener and we didnt, also a knife for local produce. Everybody friendly and always say hello. Whole place And staff exceeded Any expectations we may have had - it's authentic **even later realised, beds comfier than where I stayed later in Semenyak

I really wanted to book spa as they had good price, hard to find the spa online, and couldnt see to book. Sometimes not open when I was there (understandably as I get up early) - but would be nice to see if people could book another way, ie via your room or reception
