Very near to local market. Just half kilometre from Bali palace and major commercial area. Yet, very quiet surroundings. It gives more homely feeling as the hostel is situated in the backyard of a traditional Balinese house. Every morning and evening the chanting of Hindu mantra 'Om Namah Shivay' can be heard being played very softly. The owners and the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool is nice and clean. Breakfast is tasty but with limited options.

The bathrooms need more attention from owners. Our washbasin faucet was broken and we could barely operate it. The bathroom mirror was opaque. Need more electrical sockets in room for charging mobiles and laptops.

Big, spacious room. Breakfast included (a choice of one dish which came with some fruit and a drink). Pool was very much enjoyed after a hot day exploring. Great to have a fridge and kettle.

The bed was extremely squeaky and would wake us up in the night when rolling over. The shower had to be held when used, there was no attachment on the wall. A small chair at the desk and a bin in the bedroom would really pull this room together.

the location is manageable to walk from Ubud Palace and market area. there are nearby restaurants as well for a quick meal if tired to walk around. pool is nice as well. and with free breakfast which is very helpful to start the day :) I actually prefer staying in homestay when in Ubud to get the Balinese culture feel.

the air-condition is not that strong to cool the place, but they have a huge ceiling fan as added ventilation. bed mattress is too soft for me but can still put you to sleep :)

We liked this Balinese style local guesthouse. The location is walking distance of restaurants / main street. Breakfast was served at your room. There is no restaurant at the guesthouse The pool is nice. The rooms / beds are fitted with fly-nets which keeps the bugs out. We enjoyed our stay! The staff is friendly and easy going.

Excellent staff who were extremely friendly. Location is excellent and is just a five minute walk to the main markets in ubud. Also never felt too far away from any of the main activities in ubud (atvs, mount batur, monkey forest, water temples, and rice terraces) Lovely room with a balcony which was lovely to spend evenings on. Pool was also a good size. It felt excellent value for money also.

Nothing too major but some small issues The wifi didn’t work in the room itself, but somehow was amazing on the balcony. As aforementioned we spent a lot of time on the balcony rather than in the room so this was not a massive issues. However there was an unpleasant smell in the room which did go away when lots of water was poured down the drain but the unpleasant smell persisted everyday. Again wasnt a major issue as it wasn’t necessarily noticeable when showering etc but was not pleasant when first entering the bathroom.

Lovely guest house with very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the pool. Not many people around so you get the swimming pool all to yourself. Plus, the beautiful garden surroundings, makes for a very relaxing experience. Location wise, I like to walk, so it was great for me.

The only thing not so good was the cleaning of the bathroom. I really wanted to enjoy the bath but it wasn't as cleaned as I would have wanted, so I didn't use it. Also worth mentioning is that the curtains in my room didn't block the light. So, early morning start it is (they have different curtains in each room. It just happened that in mine the fabric was thin). Be mindful, not TV in the room.

Sitting by the pool with a Bintang at the end of the day hit the spot. The location was at one end of Jl Raya Ubud, ok walking distance to all attractions, Inc Monkey Forest. Staff were always helpful. Shower had good strong water pressure and very hot water.

The very first night was a big storm and the roof leaked, mainly in the bathroom through a light fitting and a couple of smaller leaks in main room, but bed was free of getting leaked on. TV only had local channels but who wants to watch TV Tea/coffee weren't replenished as you used it.

The place is near the main strip of Ubud, but it up a side-street which means you can't hear much noise of the hustle and bustle which is great. Comes with breakfast included. I recommend the banana pancakes. Lovely. Also the pool area is very nice, but make sure you get there early as the sun loungers and usually took up quite fast. All in all good stay and I would come back.

The only nit picking I would say is the door to the apartment is quite hard to close that leaves a gap for mosquitoes, however the nets included do a good job of keeping them off you in the night, so not that much of a deal.

Really great location and felt really safe. You could walk to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants etc or get a short bike ride. The pool area was also a great addition, nice to cool off and it was always quiet and most importantly very clean

The bathroom was a little run down. Our shelf in the shower was a bit broken so you couldn’t sit anything on it. Also when you used the shower it soaked the entire bathroom. Our air conditioning was ok but not great. It leaked one night and woke us up with the dripping noise so we had to turn it off. Other than that, the accommodation is basic, but clean and the location and staff are great.

Asih was a great host. The location of the place is excellent although the first time, it was a bit difficult to find (at night), due to lack of boards. The staff is friendly and available. The rooms are comfortable although some rooms have different lighting.

We had left some food on the table and within a few hours, there was a huge attack of ants on the table. There are a LOT of insects at this place. Cleanliness was not such an issue. Also another thing we did not like was the unavailability of water or a water cooler. There should have been a better provision for this. Lastly, one of the rooms did not have a jet in the washroom which caused a big issue and we had to move.
