The location is very convenient just away from the hustle and bustle of ubud centre but a short walk away from shops and restaurants.

Although the host did their best to keep the property clean, alot of the bathroom finishes are very dated and appear dirty. Same applies to the bed linen, though u could tell it's washed but the off-white colour was very off-putting

This property was amazing and the staff even better organised an amazing birthday celebration for my friend it was so sweet. Location is everything with markets, atm and mini Mart all within walking distance. Bathroom facility were great. We stayed in pool villa 2 which came with a beautiful outside area and private pool.

The only thing would be that above pool room 2 is another room (not sure if it’s the same with room 1). If the people above are heavy footed or loud you will hear them, as we were kept up one night due to all the moving around/dropping stuff. They also have a balcony above which looks down into pool area, which kind of defeats the purpose of a private pool/tan bed, if you get what I’m saying.

Everything was fantastic. The villa was comfortable and totally wonderful. The private pool was a special joy. Ashanti Villa is in a great location to easily walk around Ubud. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. The entire staff, but especially Okta were charming. We were able to hire Okta’s husband, Zolo for two days of private tours, as well as transport to the airport. Very personable, and with great attitude and good English, he did a superb job showing us around. Breakfast had many choices - all were great.

They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and consistently quick to respond to any request. Whether we needed a driver arranged for a day trip or wanted to book an in-villa massage, they handled everything efficiently and with a smile. Breakfast was a daily highlight. Each morning, a delicious and fresh spread arrived precisely on time. It always included a vibrant fresh juice, a beautiful fruit platter, and your choice of coffee or tea. The main meal options were varied and plentiful, ensuring there was something for everyone. It was clear that quality and freshness were a priority, and it was more than enough to start the day. The villa itself was immaculate. Daily cleaning ensured the room was always sparkling, and the private pool was a refreshing oasis – perfectly clean and well-maintained. It was the perfect way to cool down after a day of exploring Ubud. Another major plus was the location. The villa was conveniently located within walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the local area without needing transportation. This added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay. In summary, this villa offered incredible value for money, thanks to the friendly and efficient staff, delicious breakfasts, sparkling clean facilities, and excellent location. I wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Ubud. You won't be disappointed!

We had the best time at Ashanti Villa Ubud. The accommodation was very clean and well cared for. It is very close to the centre of Ubud, markets and the palace. We had Breakfast included which was brought to us each day and it was always very nice. We would recommend the pancakes! The best bit was the staff, they were so helpful, kind and accommodating to anything we needed . They can help you book activity’s, onward travel and had good advice and knowledge about the area. Thank you to Ketut and the rest of the team. 5 star experience and would definitely stay here again!

Both bathrooms were dated and needed to be upgraded, especially the shower and upstairs bath/shower.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. Mr. Ketut and his wife were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always helpful, making everything effortless. The location was ideal—quiet and private, yet close to great dining, shopping, and attractions. Highly recommend this villa. We can’t wait to return!

I loved the name of the Villa so much that I booked it because of that and also because it had the option to have a private pool (although it wasn't a heated one, which is what I prefer). I loved the architecture of the building and it had the fanciest toilet I have ever seen and used (an electronic one that actually warms up when you sit on it.) The seat lifts up, it flushes and closes the seat down all automatically, which really felt luxurious.

Excellent! From start to finish. Staff were amazing, room was comfortable, location was close to everything I needed . Villa was in a quiet surrounding. Breakfast was superb. Especially the Banana Pancakes! Big thank you to Ketut and his staff for looking after me so well.
