The hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast and they changed my pool towel daily which was a nice surprise. The pool was another highlight, especially in the afternoon when there is music playing and the water shines a beautiful blue just before sunset. The staff is incredibly friendly, as you would expect from Balinese. They add you on WhatsApp and there they communicate with you about news, services, excursions, food. Cleaning is done on request with change of sheets. I traveled on a budget and for me it turned out to be a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it. I tried the laundry service, although I probably should have skipped it – some clothes came back a little dirty, bunched up and smelled strongly of fabric softener. They have some stained sheets and a slight musty smell in the bathroom, slightly poor cleanliness, but it's still a good choice if you're not too picky. They are currently working on renovations and none of the rooms have a pool view as it says on Booking.com.

I stayed at Bombora Surf Camp for the last two days, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We encountered a small problem with our booking, but they went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and efficiently. Their helpfulness and professionalism truly stood out. The location is fantastic – a perfect spot for surfers and anyone looking to soak in the good vibes. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with a cool and cozy setup that makes it easy to relax and enjoy. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend Bombora Surf Camp to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent service and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

This place was great! Our last stop on a sort of tour of Bali, great value for money, in a perfect location with plenty of great restaurants within a short walk and a short drive to many great pool/beach clubs where we spent most of our time. The breakfast provided was great too, great value for money also! They also have a speedy and cheap laundry service which we regret not making more use of. Also ability to hire surfboards etc.

We struggled to use the aircon, it seemed to be on a weird timer setting that we couldn’t cancel and it would turn off in the middle of the night and beep a lot - although this may have been user error.

The hotel was welcoming, the staff go above & beyond to make it a perfect stay. The pool table was a great bonus along with the cocktails. The location is perfect, near to the beach and restaurants. The room was bright & clean, the bed was huge! The hotel kittens are adorable. This place is so nice and has a great vibe, definatly recommend.

The noise from the nearby pubs is heard until late so it's quite difficult to sleep after a long day but nothing some earbuds can't solve

We had a great room with garden view which had a lot of natural light and was clean. The accommodation offers all we wanted surf lessons at competitive price and laundry service and very good price as well. Lastly, personal let us know about other great offers in the area such as yoga lessons which we happily used. It is good value for money when in garden view room (attaching a pic with monkeys visiting :-) )

Bombora hostel is very well located. Close to shops and beaches. Everything was very clean and tidy. Woke up in the morning and 5 staff members were organising everything: moping the floor around the pool, removing leafs, cleaning room windows… Very good A/C in rooms, free pool in the common area. Best of it, the staff, súper friendly and welcoming, took pictures at our departure. They even store our luggage and allowed us to jump in the pool and have a shower after the beach even though we had the check out done. Totally recommended. I’ll go back again

Business is run by the family I guess, and you can see that these young people working hard and doing their best. Kind and polite Staff, room with big smart TV, and nice speaker, AC working well, clean Pool.

I pay an option with included breakfast, which was good but the coffee was instant black coffee. They have a coffee machine for espresso but you need to pay extra for espresso. It will be nice and reasonable if they are more flexible and if someone prefers espresso over black coffee that's included in Breakfast. It's just a coffee at the end of the day!

Awesome staff who were super accommodating. Our room was backing onto a bar which was too loud for us so they offered to change our room the following day, which was much appreciated. They were also able to accommodate us staying for 1 extra night, as we changed our travel plans. They were also amazing in helping us with the following services: laundry, taxi, scooter hire. The rooms are simple and comfortable. Location is just of the main road heading towards padag padang beach, and there are multiple great cafés, bars, restaurants and shops within 5-10min walking distance.

Staff were lovely. Outdoor area and communal area was nice like the pool and pool table and the little ladders outside the room were handy for hanging up and drying off clothes. Good walking distance from popular restaurants and cafes and from Padang Padang beach which is a bonus. TV also had Netflix, Amazon video etc. The laundry service was excellent the washing smelled amazing afterwards and several tops were ironed for us free of charge.

There was a lot of ants and bugs in our room and we were continuously having to get them off of the bed. They were also living in the bedside table so we had to put Vaseline over the hole, this ruined the room for us. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels as the sign for room cleaning is designed for a handle door however these doors were are slide.

Great location walkable from lots of good cafes, beach etc. Good value for money, nice pool area, friendly staff.

It’s a bit run down in some parts of the rooms (e.g. bathroom had dripping pipes, broken tiling, room had sand filling some gaps to prevent ants) but for the price point it is good value and compared to similar properties in Bali is as you would expect.
