The greatest view you’ll have in Uluwatu. Great food specially for breakfast. Private beach.

Difficult access. Workers noise near beach and hotel. Small room. Bathroom without A/C. Slippery halls to restaurant.

The stuff was very helpful !!! The view astonishing !!! Didn’t eat much at the property, but checked menu, it seemed all good. Despite necessity to walk towards the place, the location was good. Fairly close to everything

It’s very very small. Rather room for one than for two Also nowhere to dry things because of monkeys. I saw rats running past while I was brushing teeth in the bathroom. So better consider that. Otherwise great, but for long stay :)

The villa was amazing and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The villa is brand new and had great amenities and new bathroom. The outdoor bath was great to dip in and watch the surf. Staff very friendly and easy to contact for anything we needed. Also helped with our bags which was a lifesaver.

The only downside was the stairs - was a very big mission hiking up and down everyday. Also because the villa is built on top of the water the waves are very loud when trying to sleep but the view and location make up for it!

Our stay at The Korowai was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking – waking up to such a stunning panorama felt like a dream. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, offering a unique and tranquil atmosphere that perfectly blends with the natural surroundings. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. One standout feature was the luggage service. There are quite a lot of stairs to reach the hotel, but thankfully, the staff took care of carrying our suitcases up and down, which was a big relief.

Beware of the monkeys! Despite the many stairs and cheeky monkeys, the experience was unforgettable, and we’d love to come back one day! 😊

The location is amazing, very peaceful and lovely to watch the surfers in the evening.

The restaurant was very quiet and not much atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning location with incredible views. Rooms very comfortable and beautifully presented. Staff always happy to help and very friendly. So amazing falling asleep to the sound of the ocean below, we kept the curtains open at night because we didn't want to miss a moment of the view. Only a few room so it feels quite intimate, great for honeymoon/couples. Quiet and relaxing

Loved everything, but it is harder to find "off the beaten path" and there is a bit off a walk with steep section. You do need to beware of monkeys (keep doors and windows closed, when not in room). But the hotel communicate all this beforehand, both when booking, email and whatsapp before your arrival. Menu small but everything was tasty, and beers/wine only. When we felt like something different we just hired a scooter from the hotel and plenty of places close by.

Amazing place, beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere and wonderful staff! Franco greeted us at the top of the steps ( yes many steps down) and carried all of our luggage! Everyone was so sweet and attentive to everything we needed. The beauty of the place was breathtaking perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset and there’s a private beach!

The monkeys do come out to play! They drank our beer it was funny! But yes when they come just go inside and lock the doors to be safe!

The location was beautiful, quiet and remote for a popular destination in Bali. The staff were extremely friendly and went beyond to make sure that you were comfortable. The bedroom was so stunning - with the best views!

I understand that this is not the responsibility of The Korowai but it would be nice if the community could arrange a beach clean. Unfortunately, there was a bit of rubbish washed up and wedged in the rocks / trees by the ocean. This is no reflection on the property though. The hotel was truly stunning.

Unfortunately the place didn't match the pictures. On the pictures there were several small details like decorative pillows on the bed, lounge chairs outside and beautiful cutlery, which made it looked like a very polished, upper class hotel. In reality the place is much more rustic and needs maintenance. We love the rustic surf cabin vibe, but unfortunately we expected more based on the photos. They are building a new cabin next to the one we stayed at and the drilling noise woke us up every morning which is not very comfortable especially for the steep price you pay. They could have warned us about the renovations and it wouldn't have been an issue.

Absolutely loved the sea view and quiet of it all. Especially beautiful during Nyepi, when the whole island is in silence. I love how comfortable it was to stay in the air conditioned room, enjoying the sea view. Equally, sitting at the balcony and working/readjng, surrounded by the sounds of crashing waves. Food was good too - the variety of options was important given how secluded the location was. Staff was super kind and attentive!
