Nyle was absolutely amazing! He was so nice and friendly and so helpful in carrying our bag upstairs, giving us advice on local sites to see, and even helping us try and track down some of our ancestors counties! Such a nice guy! Breakfast was exceptional! The pastries were divine and our eggs Benedict and French toast were perfect! Homemade strawberry jam with scones were a hit!

The Armada House was extremely comfortable. Each room was special and had a unique character. The breakfast was magnificent - the food fresh and delicious, the service wonderful. We loved it. We even received a loaf of bread to take with us. The building itself is lovely and right across from the bigger Armada Hotel - which was an easy walk right across the street. The Armada Hotel offered 2 restaurants and a wonderful pub. The food was excellent. We felt as if we had the best of all worlds - we stayed at the smaller, boutique Armada House, but still had access to fine dining, pub, music, and a place to sit oceanfront right across the street. The staff at both were kind and gracious, and they were always trying to make our stay extra special. I will definitely return to the Armada House.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the place. One room (of the 6 we booked) had an issue with the lock, but the staff sorted that as quickly as they could.

The property has a really comfortable feel about it. We felt very relaxed our whole time there. The log fires and lounge area was our favourite

There was a smelly drain situation, which was resolved once we advised the receptionist. The TV did not work in the room, they use international remotes and even after being replaced the maintenance man couldn’t get it working which was a shame as we like to relax and watch tv in bed. I overheard the receptionist offering a discounted price for another room that had plumbing issues. We were not offered anything, but I also didn’t bring it up on checkout.

The Armada House is a wonderful hotel. The staff make sure everything is the way you want it -- the chocolates and Irish Cream in the room was a nice touch. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. Kitty did an amazing job on the breakfasts. There are several common rooms to relax in during the evening and enjoy a drink.

Breakfast was absolutely fabulous The room was nice, but it could have been more cosy.. the floors were hard, a few scatter rugs would have been nice. living area was adequate, & while there were 2 chairs there, there could have been another chair / couch to put stuff on, The wardrobe was old style quaint, which was nice but not practical, so a few hooks or another chair to put stuff on would have been good. The shower was very basic, but did the trick

The house is beautifully decorated and was calm and welcoming when I came to check in. There are 3 sitting rooms if you wish to leave your room to read or make a phone call etc

The bedroom was warm and I opened the beautiful sash window. The subsequent breeze caused the door to rattle. I needed to jam it with some paper. Not a dislike really.

My experience was exceptional, I stayed here the night before my wedding. The room had an interlocking room with mirrors and make up chairs for pre wedding prep. This entailed 8 of us getting ready the morning of my wedding with plenty of room. The view from the room was amazing, both windows had sea views. Also we got Prosecco and breakfast to the room which was "out of this world". To add to this we ordered coffee from GULLS cafe. The Armada staff and professionalism was nothing but outstanding. Beautifully decorated. The beds are SO comfortable and the shower is fab. The courtyard rooms are a little small but perfect for a night or two. There is no wardrobe in this room but they have been considerate and there are enough hangers and drawers to get you by. The breakfast is absolutely exceptional, like an afternoon tea. The staff were so, so lovely. Lots of parking and gorgeous sea views.

Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Niall was very understanding and ensured my ninety year old Dad had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was fantastic and served by the delightful Kitty.The delicious brown bread, as a parting gift, a lovely idea. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Armada House.

Excellent location, close to the Armada hotel, plenty of parking, we had a room in the guest house at the back - it was a very small room but they managed to give us a large bed and a nice size bathroom with the space. Excellent breakfast each day and the house has lots of common rooms to sit and read/relax during the day. Guests also have access to the Armada hotel during the stay to have dinner.
