The breakfast was exceptional. We could not fault it. Probably one of he best breakfasts we ever tasted. It was pre-order with so many choices. From the moment we arrived to when we were leaving, Barbara catered for our every need. Our room was very large with great facilities. Comfort and cleanliness excelled our expectations. Scenery was amazing from this property. Barbara gave us fresh milk for tea to our room served in little churn which was a lovely touch. I would definitely rate this property 5++++ stars. Barbara was the most lovely host, welcoming and informative. She even managed to book a place for dinner for us at the last minute. Our room was so comfortable overlooking the town. Breakfast was a really nice treat for us as well.

The only thing I would mention, which is not a negative more something to be aware of ,is that the guest rooms are upstairs.

Barbara and Peter were outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond every day to make our stay enjoyable. Barbara offered ideas for advenures every morning that varied based on weather forecast. Peter did everything from offering to carry our luggage to attempting to get our car radio to work! Really cannot say enough about this place! Wonderful!!!!!

Absolutely nothing!

It was one of the best B&B I've visited in Ireland! The place was really clean and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, too, especially that you can choose what you want to eat in the morning. Barbara and her husband are both very helpful and kind, I could chat with them hours :) Thank you for everything! Definitely, I'll come back to this place one day .. I wish all B&B's looks like that in Ireland 🩷

Barbara and Peter couldn’t be better hosts they were attentive helpful and full of useful information nothing was too much trouble. The property is in a great location. We had a fantastic room well laid out and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend 😀

Lovely B&B !! The rooms have been done up recently and look lovely. It has new changing fixtures with is very handy. Wonderful host, so kind and gave lots of local information that was very helpful about Youghal and surrounding areas in Cork. The breakfast was lovely and had very good choices. The view from the front of the property is beautiful and has good parking.

Myself and my partner stayed at Summerfield Lodge B&B to attend a friends wedding in the town. We found Barbara to be a fabulous host, she took great care of us during our stay. The house is in a beautiful location which overlooks the ocean. I would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for a visit soon.

We had the most amazing time with Barbara. Great hospitality that exceeded all of our expectations. Barbara was so welcoming, the rooms were the most comfortable, and her breakfast was exceptional. Oh, and not forgetting the view. We felt so at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great.

The host went out of her way to understand her guests and suggest things and places that would be of particular interest to them. Breakfast was also superb and again catered to individual tastes.

The views were spectacular,, but one was outside of the town, such that I drove to dinner most nights.
