Fabulous hotel. Exceeded my expectations for the price. Loud wedding was the only issue but the back round noise actually helped my youngest to sleep. Room was “refurbished” but done well and was very comfortable. Food in hotel restaurant was lovely. Very busy as there was a wedding but excellent and fast service. Bar areas are fabulous. Location is right on the beach loads of parking and there is a big playground right outside. Not in any way a built up area lovely base for exploring that part of Ireland loads a lovely little villages , coffee trucks and food trucks island ferry’s . Fabulous destination. Really enjoyed our stay.

Was just a bit busy and no local shop but didn’t really take too much from it. Would prefer bottles of water rather than a karaffe .

Great location if the weather is okay. Hotel and staff were lovely. Restaurant food was top class. Nice pool too.

The check in time of 4 pm is too late, we travelled down early in the day as the weather was poor, after having lunch we had to sit around for a few hours waiting for our room, there is a nice health centre there but we wanted to get our room first before using it, we couldnt go out as there was heavy rain so we were a little bored with a teenager.

Our rooms were spacious and airy. The beds were very comfortable. We had dinner in the lighthouse bistro on the evening of our arrival and even though it was busy service was very quick. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Very relaxing, close to the beach, hotel has loads of areas to relax and the decor is beautiful.

The continental breakfast was our only option when we went for breakfast at 10am. When checking in we were told we could have continental/full breakfast which was being served until 10am. However when we arrived to the table at 10am we were told the kitchen was closed. Although the continental options weren't excessive there was enough of a selection. Cereals, juices, a machine for mini pancakes, fruit, yoghurt and some pastries. Plus coffee/tea and toast delivered to the table.

Lady at the counter greated us with a smile room was large warm and clean got room service for dinner as it was getting late and had two small children two girls who delivered were super friendly and professional the second girl even waited til later to bring up dessert so it wasn't melted views are outstanding I will be back over the summer for sure

Great place if you want to get away from the city! Ideal for walks by the beach, treating yourself in the restaurant and going for a little swim in the included health club. There is also an outside hot tub. The staff is very friendly and helpful :)

Public transport (buses) is close to non-existent, you definitely need a car! Prices for meals and breakfast are somewhat steep, but the food is really good. Pro tip: eat the lunch special which is very affordable and absolutely delicious! :)

Staff very friendly, room lovely, Spacious & comfortable beds, food very tasty but a little expensive, Pool was very clean like the rest of the hotel

I’ve a teen who wanted to stay later in the pool but was asked to leave. Once accompanied by an adult I don’t think teenagers should have to leave at same time as younger kids

room was very large & comfortable with wifi etc very nice bathroom , breakfast was excellent & all the staff were very nice & friendly our room did'nt face the sea but many rooms had a sea view over ballycotton lighthouse & bay ! highly recommend we will stay again next year ! & would advise you to book a table for dinner we arrived on a tuesday in may & had trouble getting a table as we hadn't booked it was very crowded !

i can't really find anything that i didn't like .

The room was huge and very comfy and even had a little balcony. Located right at the beach you can have a nice walk but otherwise it's pretty isolated so you'll have to drive or walk a while to get to a restaurant or anything like that. The breakfast was alright but I've had better over this trip through Ireland.

I always go here for a break away from home and have always loved coming back. Staff are great. Only issue is the bathroom. Can never get the shower temp right. It's either boiling hot or too cold. But other then that no issues at all

The hotel was beautiful. Beautifully maintained and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very good.

I would have preferred if breakfast was included in the price of the room.
