Hotel was lovely and in a quiet area. Reception staff were friendly and polite. Good price for Cork.

Room was very hot, in fairness the weather was very warm and humid but we had to open all windows to try cool the room down which wasn't ideal come morning time with outside noises and a weird noise coming from outside the hotel room window which I assume was a ventilation system. Cleaners also came into the room at 9am while we were still asleep.

Location is a little out of town, one of the reasons we chose to book here. The room it’s was large, clean and well appointed. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. Plenty of parking available. There is a gym, pool and spa on-site but we didn’t use.

Dinner in the Brasserie - we waited quite a while to be shown to a table upon arrival. We didn’t have a booking but there were plenty of empty tables. We felt as though we were a bit of an inconvenience to the young lady seating us to be honest. There were long delays for drinks, in fact we had to chase up our drinks order twice before it was delivered to our table. The same for table water. We only just received our first drinks moments before the meal arrived. That said, both of our meals were absolutely delicious and served within a reasonable time. It’s a shame the bar service was not up to par on this occasion.

The staff were absolutely excellent! Everyone was very helpful. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Superb location, close to Cork City, Middleton, Cobh and Fota Wildlife.

The rooms might need a bit of updating, I found the room far too hot and there was no air conditioning in the room (although it must be said the weather outside was very warm too), we got a fan from reception but it didnt help much. There was a small patch of carpet missing and the wardrobe door was a little difficult to close. An excellent hotel overall and I will be going back when im next in Cork.

Lovely hotel. The staff we encountered were lovely. Room was comfortable, however needs to be dusted every time it's cleaned. Rooms are very warm and thermostat didn't seem to do its job cooling. Breakfast had a huge array of choices.

I didn't like that there was only one waitress in the restaurant, and she was taking care of the whole floor. She did an exceptional job (night of the 24th) but found it to be unfair only one was looking after so many. I also feel the need to bring up the lack of vending machines / the ability to buy cold drinks after hours. I just feel the hotel is understaffed. Everything seemed to have taken longer than it should've.

We had a brilliant stay at the Radisson Blu in Little Island. From the moment we arrived—early at 2 PM—we were warmly welcomed and allowed to check in without any hassle. The man at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for our family, with a king-size bed and a bunk bed the kids absolutely loved. Everything was spotless and easy to find. The swimming pool was a real highlight—spacious, clean, and relaxing with great jets. We could have spent the whole trip there! The pool staff were also lovely, offering towels and making us feel very comfortable. Breakfast was another hit. Plenty of choice, and the boys especially enjoyed the pancake-making machine, which was a fun touch. We felt really well looked after throughout the stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a relaxing and welcoming break.

It was all fantastic to be honest

Your male receptionist made a great impression on our four girls, he kindly gave them some mints and noticed our 5 year old granddaughter who was born with Down Syndrome could not have them so he asked us to wait for a minute and returned with a small packet of jellies. Just so thoughtful. We also noticed you were having a collection for Down Syndrome Cork and we were delighted to donate. Your dining room was booked up so we had to take the girls to KFC but there were no complaints from our four girls.

We had interconnecting doors to the girls bedroom. When asked about single or double beds I presumed that there would be three single beds in the room. We put the two beds together but they kind of separated during the night. The breakfast was acceptable but I would have loved the option of ordering an omelette, The pool was amazing, we got into it on both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning after breakfast. Our local pool is closed for renovations so you might see us back again.

Staff were exceptional.I had a problem with my outfit for wedding.Room was unavailable to checkin but I was allowed to use a room to iron my dress(it had fallen off hanger in car and was badly creased).Issue resolved immediately. Food was lovely for wedding.Service was exceptional.Breakfast was lovely

Compared room prices with other guests(we were attending wedding) and we paid way more than some guests.Room was booked a long time ago. Main bar could do with more staff. In the Wedding function room anyone drinking Cocktails had to go to main bar to get them.Should be able to get them at the bar where the Function was on.

Lovely hotel, when we arrived I asked for a cot. There was one put in our room and a single bed made up for my 4 year old. Our kids got a goodie bag each on arrival, which was a lovely touch, kids we delighted. Swimming pool is great. Food was delicious, breakfast fab, had everything you could ask for, probably the best breakfast we’ve been to in a hotel. Staff were very friendly. Little playground outside for the kids.

When we went swimming the family room was in the men’s changing room. Which meant I couldnt go in with them. We ended up taking one kid each. Never came across that before. The only other issue we had was at dinner it took ages for our mains to come out. Our kids food came they ate theirs and we waited ages for ours and with two small kids trying to keep them entertained it was a bit annoying the staff kept apologising and when it came it was delicious.

Honestly where do I start, this was an incredible experience, but really all down to 1 guy, your night porter who greeted us when we checked in after 9pm on Saturday night. He greeted me by name and was so lovely. Unfortunately we were in the area for work so our stay was more for convenience than for R&R, so we were on an early exit the next morning. But this is where it became more amazing. Your breakfast started the next morning at 7 which is no problem, we needed to leave by around 6.30, so he took it upon himself to assure us he would have something for us to take away. Well, were we blown away by what we received! A full irish, tea/coffee, orange juice, the works. Michael D Higgins wouldn't get service like it! We were truly set for what was a busy day for us at the local karting track. Let me make it clear, what ever you pay this guy, it's not enough. He's amazing, I actually don't know what else I can say tbh, I'm just blown away by the service. I will 150% be staying here again when I'm in the area and I'll be telling everyone about it. If you have an employee of the week/month/year, please make sure he gets it. The room, place etc was all top notch too which is great, but he was the shining light above all else.

Large rooms and delicious food greeted us at this property. We had visited Blarney Castle earlier in the day, and wanted to stay nearby and so this property suited that desire being only 15-20 minutes away.

While secluded and secure in location, it is on a bit of an island to itself, which is reason alone to commend it, nevertheless I mistakenly thought it was located in or near the center of town, and it was not, insofar as one hoping to walk around is concerned. This didn't effect our stay at the property itself, which is as fine as you get at any Radisson you might stay at anywhere in the world, but prevented us from popping out to walk and explore in the actual downtown area, so we'll have to catch that next time.
