Lovely hotel, stayed for a night after a match and was only about 10 mins from Pairc Ui Chaoimh and about 10-15 from the Marina Market so very handy location for matchgoers. Spacious and clean rooms, very big bathroom with plenty mirrors so lots of room for getting ready before a night out!

The one thing I didn’t like was that we could not lock the door to the adjoining room ourselves, the family staying next door to us had requested to get the door locked and we heard keys rattling in our side of the doors but the door wasn’t locked when we checked it again. Only a very minor thing, the rest of the stay was perfect.

Had a lovely family stay for 2 nights. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Pool was lovely. Really nice breakfast options. Staff were extremely helpful. Blonde Receptionist Lady worth a particular shout-out, couldn't do enough for us when called upon. Some reviews V harsh on here in relation to the condition of the hotel. Post Covid, hotels are doing their best to recover. Yes it needs some TLC in some areas, broken tiles here and there etc., however overall it's a lovely hotel and the staff try their best with what they have.

The Bar is a bit understaffed, imo. Long wait at times for service or drinks. Not the staff's fault though. And to be fair, it was Mon and Tues nights. Food was 7/10 in the Bar. Main issues, the battered fish was crucified/rock hard, and chips overdone, and battered crab hadn't a lot of crab. I did complain about the fish only, and it was knocked off the bill and we were given free desserts. That was a brilliant recovery, and the cheesecake we had was beautiful. Wings and prawns were V nice too.

We enjoyed most of our stay at this hotel. The reception and dining room staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. However the single rooms we booked had no drawers for our clothes just a very small hanging cupboard (mine had only 2 hangers) and a high shelf. The main drawback for us as vegetarians (one a vegan) was the evening meal in Suttons Bar and Bistro which did not cater for this although they have V on the menu so we had to go out to find an evening meal.

Breakfast In the hotel dining room with a good choice on the menu. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Quiet rooms. Very helpful receptionist called Joel who even recommended places to visit!

The food was beautiful 10/10 and great dining areas , the staff was lovely and helpful. Pool facilities was also great

The rooms where not very clean the floors had alot of dust/dirt and the shower had mould every where aswel as broken tiles. The soap dispensers where empty or very little in them . Also seen a women smoking in her room! Didnt like No robes to walk to and from the pool area so having to change and walk past reception where there was alot of people standing Breakfast was good but would prefer to serve yourself as u can see what's on offer

Location was excellent, rooms were fabulous and very comfortable. Evening meal options were great and tasted amazing. Leisure Centre lovely and very spacious and clean, steam room out of order which was a pity but rest of facilities excellent, ample showers, hairdryers and changing spaces.

Breakfast was all served as table service, it was lovely and tasty and staff excellent but felt very confining and not a nice experience having to ask for everything even when children just wanted a second glass of juice or an extra slice of bread.

Location within walking distance of Cliffs of Moher and beautiful beaches, villages and views. Clean, modern environment with all the amenities. But the best thing was to see culture and art in every corner of the facility. A beautiful collection of B&W photos, paintings and books. The breakfast then amazed us. We thought we would find coffee and pastries but instead we found ourselves in this beautiful space with an open fireplace and a great selection of quality products with which to start the day off right. From our room a view of the ocean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

With four of us staying we were concerned about the room size but it was ample for all of us. We requested an extra bed and still loads of space. Breakfast was great value, involved table service, and there were lots of options. They even accommodated off-menu requests. Dinner in Suttons was gorgeous, lots of different options and very tasty plus reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Given the scale of the hotel, some corridors were absolutely freezing which made for brisk returns from the leisure facility to our hotel room. While the hotel pool was huge, with lots of options for relaxation and well-tended, the tiles around the side of the pool looked unfortunately grubby which let the otherwise very impressive facility down somewhat.

It was a very nice hotel, lovely staff and it has more or less has everything you need in the building already. And theres vending machines incase u get hungry for a small snack. Very cool! its so big its like a maze😂 I kind of wished u could log into netflix or something on the tvs but its not that serious 🤷‍♀️

i got a few dirty looks from one staff member in particular, im not sure if it was on purpose but it seemed to happen everytime we crossed paths. Didnt really appreciate it too much but Im just gonna give the benefit of the doubt and say i was probably imagining it.. hopefully.

The staff were wonderful, they were thoughtful and helpful. The ladies from housekeeping arranged my daughters teddies very cutely on the bed. The staff in the breakfast room were helpful, on hand, and considerate of meeting the needs of children. The room was comfortable and pleasant. On one night during our stay, there was a debs ball in the ballroom and we only know because we saw them arrive, never heard anything. The main bar was separate to the ballroom also, so quiet drinks were still available. The leisure centre was lovely, great pool, great facilities, lovely and clean with complimentary towels for guests. It was what you would expect, every need met, every facility available. Tea and coffee in the room, as well as a fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We only turned on the telly to be nosey, not big into watching TV, good range of channels available.

The toilet was difficult to get to flush but did do a great job once you got it to work. The leisure centre hours for children were a bit restrictive, not before 9am, and not after 7pm, which meant no swim before breakfast and no swim after ours days outing. My kids were 10 and 11 and swim competitively, so that was a bit annoying. But my children would be an exception to the normal child guests so not unreasonable. The TV remote buttons were not well marked due to wear, and Netflix wasn't available that I could see. That would be a great addition.

Loved location, size of family room, closeness to shopping center and public transport to Cork city center. Big thanks to reception personel for giving us great information on Halloween events in the city. Also hotel bar well stocked and opened late.

Perhaps that's normal in Ireland (?), but on the continent usually pool access isn't off-limits for children at certain times. I think 9-12:15 and 14-17:30 is very restrictive for families- especially if there only for one day. Also obligatory swimming cap policy not really friendly for visitors (I do understand logic behind it though).
