We had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Cork. The room was very clean and well appointed, with a kitchenette and upgraded amenities, like a Keurig, tea kettle, oven/microwave and a great selection of teas and coffee. It is situated right across from the Cork City center. The hotel has a sister hotel, the Moxy which had a great bar and restaurant for nights we didn't care to walk to one of the local restaurants or pubs. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, offering information for local sightseeing and tips for navigating the city. Overall we would definitely recommend this Redidence Inn to anyone staying in Cork City.

Breakfast was not very good, everyday the same menu. There are very limited options in vegetarian. We stayed there for 1 week and it felt very bad to eat the same breakfast for 7 days. I suggest that, there has to be some more options and variety in breakfast. I would rate the breakfast as 2 star.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It is new and beautifully decorated. They gave us a very large room with a spacious kitchenette along one wall and a table and chairs. We had a closet for our clothes and a luggage rack. Breakfast is included in the price. They had gluten-free granola and bread, but it is not set out with the other food. You have to request that it be brought to you which can take some time. There is a good assortment of other hot and cold items that my husband enjoyed. The laundry room was very nice and free to use. They even provide detergent! I loved that we could do 2 loads of laundry at the same time. There was also a nice gym that we didn't have time to use, but lots of other people did. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. We loved the location, too. It was an easy walk to both the bus and train stations and just across the river from the main shopping street.

The only minor inconvenience was that the gluten-free items had to be requested. Perhaps this was to avoid cross-contamination. The first day, they brought me 2 slices of gluten-free toast. I saved one for the second day. It disappeared after I put it through the toaster. I later found out that the kitchen staff had discarded it without telling me. I requested another one, but it didn't arrive before I had to leave for our tour. It would be nice to provide plant-based butter for vegans.

The location is within walking distance from City Centre and there are fine restaurants close by the hotel. This is a residence hotel with laundry facilities which to us was a plus. Breakfast is buffet style with many choices. There is a comfortable lounge area and parking is across the street in a typical multi-level car park. Rooms are equipped with refrigerator, range-top, oven, dishwasher and all that is needed for an extended stay. We were here for just two days and nights and it was a pleasant stay. There us a well-equipped exercise room on the premises.

We were given an accessible room, which we didn't neccessarily need, but it was actually better for showering. The room was a good size with good air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, but especially Gisele and Svenia. The hotel was also in an excellent location, only 5 mins walk to the centre (or 10 if you add on waiting for green lights to cross the roads!)

We thought the cooked breakfast could have been better. There was only sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, which tended to be a bit dry. Perhaps some baked beans, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes, or even boiled, poached or fried eggs would have been an improvement.

Central location - can walk to most City venues easily. Modern hotel. Very comfy bed. Reception staff very friendly.

Arrived to find hotel was overbooked so we had one night in a room different to the suite we'd booked. Breakfast menu too limited. Bacon, Sausage, (very overcooked) scrambled egg. No tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, as I'd normally expect. No fruit salads. Housekeeping failed to make up the room 1 of our 4 days. We also asked them to look for a missing earring - they said they hadn't found it, yet we found it later in the middle of the bathroom floor, so they obviously hadn't looked at all. Parking opposite is a outrageous €34 a day (not €20 as the website said).

Excellent front desk staff, helped us with restaurant recommendations. Very good breakfast and comfortable lounge area. Laundry facilities included. There is a nice fitness facility, we did not partake because the weather was good for outdoor activities. Very comfortable beds.

Our bathroom light did not work for the first two days, and then when it was fixed, the bathroom vanity area was still low lite. While the hotel was quiet, we were seranaded a couple of evenings by the locals. I assume they had recently left a bar and were still inspired to share their music. I thought I had booked a twin room for two persons, but we were given one queen bed. Thankfully I was traveling with my sister.

Break was okay, nothing overly fancy, but good continental breakfast. The staff though is extraordinary friendly, very welcoming, and helpful. (12 out of 10 :)) The room was fantastic, spacious, clean, and the service was very good.

Unfortunately, the Hotel doesn't have it's own parking, but just across the street is multi storey parking available. If you validate your parking ticket with the hotel your cost will be capped (up to 50 %). Nevertheless, as in every major city, you are looking at 12-18 Euro for overnight parking.

This is the best stay yet on my extended travels in Ireland. A spacious room with kitchenette, and a nice big bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser included. The breakfasts were excellent and the location near the city centre allowed easy access to public transport for those not driving. Front desk staff were lovely and very helpful but housekeeping came at weird times and once didn't come at all... first world problem.

My only issue was with the mattress which was saggy in the middle. Maybe time for a new one.

The facilities in the room were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They came to the room to help when we couldnt locate a plug and helped swap the room swiftly due to individual needs. Everything is very new, hotel has only been open a month so very clean.

Parking in Cork is expensive. Hotel offer a discounted rate at Q-Park opposite but was not clear at booking or on website. A stressful arrival but worked out well. The breakfast is surprisingly basic, with limited hot food available but very good quality what is there.
