We had to extend our stay because of a bereavement in the family. After the funeral, my wife checked us out but I had to come back and change out of my suit for the flight. The chap at the door (whose name I didn’t catch) said I heard you’ve had some bad news and I explained I just had to use the gents to get changed and he walked me into the spa to a private changing room so I could get changed in comfort. Exemplifies the mindset of the hotel - they understand that people remember how they were treated above anything else. Fantastic place with fantastic people

Exceptional stay right from the beginning! Liam greeted us upon arrival, we were promptly checked-in and offered a lovely arrival taste of Irish whiskey. Our room was ready and our bags were swiftly taken to the room without even having to request it. The room was lovely, clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The spa was a delight, as were the pool and jacuzzi offering. Bloom was a great spot for an evening cocktail before heading into town or dinner. Bikes were available free of charge and we enjoyed ourselves immensely exploring Cork on them! Highly recommend stay at Hayfield, we will absolutely be back!

Wow what a place. Super helpful upon check-in, we had been delayed by storms in London and they made sure our process was speedy, called the restaurant we had booked ahead of our reservation to warn them we may be a little late, and sorted our taxi ahead of time. We made my wife’s birthday dinner and it was all down to Hayfields staff. Our suite was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious. We would stay nowhere else when repeat visiting Cork as we do. The staff at this hotel go all out to be of service for any need you might have. The cocktail bar and the bar are lovely places to sit and the restaurant is very good. The rooms are quite comfortable and it's in a very good location close in to everything. There is parking on site as well.

The chairs in the restaurant need to be replaced. When you sit down the seats completely collapse. This is the same for the chairs in the bedrooms.

Front of house so cold . On checking in . Receptionist, barely raised her head to say hello. Pointed to the lift to explain where the room was. Little communication Only for the lovely girl who showed me to my room , I would have been so disappointed. Turns out room wasn’t ready and we preceded back to reception. This by the way wax at 3pm. Not 5 star

Everything was exceptional throughout our stay.Fabulous hotel and grounds .Staff were so friendly and attentive nothing was a problem for them.Food was delish from breakfast ,lunch and dinner loved every meal.Our room was spotless and airy bed and pillows were extremely comfy. Very peaceful hotel .Have to say one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in will definitely be back.

Breakfast exceptional. Staff are amazing, as is the Manor. Love the car chargers for electric cars. The grounds are gorgeous. The way the hotel is set up for Christmas is beautiful. We both loved the touch of a Christmas tree in our bedroom.

Since we were one of last sittings, the dinner was OK/good. Both starters were excellent however and desserts. My wife's steak you could see was under the heat lamp for too long. This was the only thing.

Everything about this property was exceptional. We also attended a tea service, and it was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help. The environment was very relaxing and calm. The food was very good and the staff very accommodating to dietary needs. The pool was the perfect temperature, and the hot tub was very private. I wished we could have stayed longer.

The entire property is just lovely! From the lobby to the courtyard to our rooms, we enjoyed every aspect. The lobby is full of comfortable couches, has a fire burning, and a pianist in the evenings. Delightful! Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and the bed was perfect as far as comfort and quality of linens. Everything was very clean. Turn-down service was a nice touch, as were the snacks provided in our room at arrival. The bathroom was also very spacious and had fabulous water pressure. Parking was very easy and the concierge was very helpful with recommendations as well. It was so nice to have a comfortable spot to rest after a busy day sightseeing and my family enjoyed both the pool and jacuzzi in the evenings.

We didn't dine at the hotel so we can't comment on that. It was a little far from downtown. Although we could walk (and we did) we also drove a couple of times and finding parking was a bit of a challenge.
