Good location, walking distance to the city centre. Very clean hotel. Rooms are very comfortable.
No mention in the booking about a €100 deposit.

The staff - especially in the restaurant - were very friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was generally very good (apart from the pizza which was mediocre) and the views were great. The family room was spacious and well laid out - great to have separate bunks for the kids. Great shower, nice decor. Everything very clean (small exception: basin waste was partly blocked by gunk...) The gym, pool and changing areas are great. All very well kept, not too busy. The pool area is really lovely - though the pool itself is small (not suitable for laps) - it was quiet when we were there and we really enjoyed it.
Noise! We brought earplugs having read about loud early morning trains. We were pleased that our room was on the other side from the station: but on that side not only could we still hear the trains but there was extremely loud construction work that started before 7am on the adjacent commercial site. Our earplugs were no match for the noise. Especially since we had to leave the windows open as the air conditioning would not turn on - the thermostat was functional but the system seemed to be disabled centrally.

Location, staff, food and drinks.
The toilet was dirty both inside and outside and had not been cleaned before we arrived to our room.

The room is big, beautiful and full of nice extras (like the vinyl player!), the bathroom is amazing, the swimming pool... basically everything
Surprisingly, I found the bed really low level for such a structure: poor mattress, badly done, overall I didn't sleep very well.

great location, staff. The bar and restaurant on site was very nice.
The rooms were very small to navigate for 2 people staying in there.

Loved the gym and facilities. The food was great, staff friendly, the bedrooms and halls are beautifully decorated and clean. Very comfortable stay.
I would have loved to use the gym before we left on the Saturday, but it doesn't open until 8 on weekends which felt a shame. We arrived later than we hoped on a Thursday due to our flight being delayed, and the restaurant was 'closed' at 21:30, which is fair enough. However, we could order room service which was basically the main menu: cod and potatoes, pork belly with black pudding and veg etc., just we had to cram around one of our beds to eat it. Would have been great to be able to order from that room service menu to a table in the bar. On that note, would prefer a room service menu that's a bit lighter and different to the main menu, like salads and sarnies.

Room was very comfortable. We used the pool and sauna which was also lovely.
Check in being at 4pm and check out being at 11 isn’t great. Most places check in is at 3. For the price you pay I feel check out should be 12 if you can only check in from 4. The locker area is tiny in the changing rooms for the pool. As we couldn’t check in, there were no robes provided. I had to ask for one, was half told they wouldn’t have any spare but the girl found one. I didn’t fancy walking in my swim suit out into a hallway multiple people have access to. I think if you can’t check in, robes should at least be offered to guests who wish to use the pool.

I liked how friendly and accommodating the staff were! I also liked the style of the hotel when I got to my room there was a vinyl player which I thought was so cool and they had plenty of refreshments. Also they had protection for any sexual activities which showed me that that are safe sex positive!
I have no complaints.

Buzzy & location good for The Marquee. Staff lovely, very attentive, nothing an issue .
Rooms a wee bit of a used look about them. Scuffs, Marks, mattress probably could do with upgrading. Whilst the offer of a robe is lovely, ours were quite ragged, well laundered .. I’d nearly wouldn’t bother with them if I’m honest. I. And just 1 other small issue we had. We rang from our room to see if we could book Sophie’s for 5pm & we were told No we are completely full. We checked downstairs in the bar area with a lovely chap who managed to secure a table for us. It’s the small things like that make a difference, that to me was someone giving excellent service & taking pride in what they do. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived so I did wonder why I was given that information. Sophie’s did not disappoint, both food & drinks were lovely. Again staff were excellent.

The overall ambiance and vibe were fantastic - the hotel looks incredible and even smells amazing. The pool, though a bit on the smaller side, is absolutely stunning and set in a really cool location. The steam room was excellent as well - 10 minutes was more than enough to feel totally steamed and refreshed. Dinner was lovely, and breakfast was tasty. The cocktails were great too. Overall, an enjoyable experience.
The bedrooms are on the smaller side - just about adequate for what you need, but definitely more compact than you'd expect, which was a bit of a surprise. The bed was a reasonable size; we personally prefer a firmer mattress, but it was comfortable enough for the night. The fillet steak was cooked to absolute perfection - a fantastic piece of beef. That said, the portion overall felt a little underwhelming. While the large mushroom, tender stem broccoli, and baby potatoes were all delicious, you'd expect a bit more on the plate - perhaps some chips and fried onions to round it off.
