Beautiful building, just like the photos, large room at the front of the house, large easy to open windows in bedroom and bathroom, two comfortable beds, bedside tables, plugs where you want them, good shower, good quality coffee in the room, good breakfast following morning. We arrived early on day 1 and host Maria very kindly allowed us check in as the room was ready. Really enjoyable and comfortable stay, we would happily return (family of 3)
perhaps herbal tea/ non caffeinated options on the tea tray in bedroom… and I would have liked beans and/or mushrooms with the cooked breakfast as it was a bit dry without. Very small complaints, I had to scrape the barrel to think of them!

I was super impressed with the decor the first step into the lodge. It was very beautiful inside and out. The staff was terrific especially Eunice, who helped find us a better suited room for my mobility issues on the main floor. It was even better as it had a separate sunroom with a sofa bed for my mother. She loved it! The full Irish breakfast was much more than expected and there was a huge selection of fruit, cereal, cheeses, yogurts, smoked salmon, ham and Irish bread and toast and jam.
Two little things; A fan in the bathroom and maybe a blind on the sunroom French door into main room.

We only stayed at Belvedere for 1 night, but the spacious room was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The huge bathroom was also a plus. There is some street noise (we stayed in a front room that faces a pretty major road) but this did not disturb my husband, and it certainly didn’t penetrate my earplugs, which I wear every night anyway. The location is a little outside the centre (it’s a short drive in), but given we had a rental car we were very thankful not to have to negotiate the extremely tight streets for parking regularly. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of cooked foods and buffet items. We warmly recommend Belvedere!

The provided breakfast was very tasty, and the dining area was very quant. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom/shower were very clean and well laid out. Staff was very friendly.
The rooms have no ceiling fans in them and ours was a bit warm when we arrived. We opened the windows to let some cooler air in but that let in flies Windows need bug screens. A BIG problem was that there are no blinds in the bathroom area. Because of the location of the room to the road, when my wife was taking a shower, drivers from the elevated road are able to look directly into the bathroom and shower. Not a good situation! Also it would be nice to have sheets on the bed so that we could have a covering if we didnt want the heavy comforter

Everything about this property was beautiful and very spacious. I was only staying in Cork for a night. The hospitality was fantastic, as we arrived to check in around 8ish we were welcomed in and was taken the payment before we were given the keys for our rooms. We booked two rooms at this lodge and we realised our rooms were far away from each others and we have kindly requested if there’s a possibility if we can have our rooms next to each others we are only staying there for a night. After few minutes, the young man kindly changed my room closer to the other room. Although I booked for single room, to fulfil my request I was offered a double bedroom. They were very understanding and you can tell customer service was very important for them. The next morning, we arrived to the reception area for our breakfast. I do not know where to begin about how extravagant the food service was, had an opportunity to try full Irish breakfast along with a teapot. Although, the weather was not great (it was raining) we had an excellent view as we had our breakfast. We checked out after an hour, the lodge distance is nearby other areas to explore around cork city centre which was efficient before arriving at the airport.
There isn’t anything I dislike about this property.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, no loud noises from any of the neighboring guests or buildings despite being off a busy road. The beds were comfortable and clean. Plenty of outlets for charging devices. Check in and out was easy. Centrally located to many good restaurants for dinner. Highly recommend going to Son of A Bun, Burger Restaurant (The Veggie Burger was amazing! "Crack")
The room was stuffy, and there weren't any real windows to open, but they brought us a small fan to try and help with that. The toilet took a few pumps to flush fully, and there wasn't a fan in the bathroom to help with steam after a shower. GPS kept taking us down "Lovers Walk" road, which was very narrow - be careful of cars coming the other direction.

We loved the room, it was quite spacious with a lovely view over the River Lee, as we had a room at the front of the building. Beds were comfy as well
The door in the bathroom of room 23 had some screws missing in the handle and we were fearful of shutting it in case the handle came off and we got locked inside it. The shower head could not be moved from the position it was stuck at so anybody who was taller could not get a proper shower, these are small things that could be fixed in minutes, a professional not needed.

We had a fantastic stay! The family room was perfect – spacious, super clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was functional and thoughtfully set up, which made it easy to settle in. But the real standout was the breakfast – absolutely unbelievable! So tasty and delicious. Despite how busy it was, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. A special shoutout to the breakfast team for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere each morning. Highly recommend!
Absolutely no complaint :)

Absolutely loved our stay! We stayed in the family room for 4 adults, with 2 double beds and it was huge, so was the bathroom attached. The beds were comfy and massive! The hotel had a beautiful style and the gardens were gorgeous. All of the staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING! There was a huge selection of continental options as well as multiple hot breakfast options that the staff were so lovely about they basically made it however you liked. The meal was so large we rarely needed lunch when touring. The location was also really convenient as they had a bus stop directly out front that took us straight into the city in less than 10minutes.
Nothing it was perfect!

Belvedere Lodge is an excellent old fashioned B&B. Comfy bed, spacious, neat and clean room and toilet. A study table along with two cozy sofas, a foot resting stand and a beautiful large mirror. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is not at the city center though but Bus No. 214 is easily accessible to and from the city centre. There is a supermac nearby for a quick bite. I was impressed with the breakfast spread with fine China cutleries and dishes and the tea comes in a tea pot covered in a cute woolen jacket. Loved it. I only wish they had plug points near the bed and use of key card rather than actual key :)
