Second time staying at this hotel when doing a trip to Fota Wildlife because it's close. Self check in was new this time round and was great along with the self checkout although the receptionist was still extremely friendly! Room was a great size for us (family of 4) Angel done a great job preparing the room! My kids loved the oat biscuits left on the tea/coffee tray!

Rooms have no air-conditioning so it was extremely hot which would be great in winter. There's a desk fan there but it wasn't effective. Extra pillows are supplied but nothing for the travel cot was available (no i wasn't aware I had to supply my own bedding) I'd still stay here again though!

It was clean and comfortable and not too far from the city centre. The breakfast itself was OK but nothing to write home about. However the Breakfast staff in the Breakfast Room were excellent, very helpful, attentive and respectful.

The restaurant meal again was OK but nothing special. However I had my Guide Dog with me and we were initially offered a table away from other customers where tables were not prepared for use while lots of other tables were. I told the waiter that or bill was to be added to my room bill, I was called back and asked to present my credit card which had been registered with the hotel reception for such occassion. I said again but was assured that it was procedure and that the card would not be charged but it was which lead to the embarrassment of checking with reception when checking out the next morning. I was not charged twice but still, I was not impressed.

Comfortable hotel in a quiet area on the outskirts of the city. Good morning walk nearby along the river. Staff were helpful and nice. The center is just beyond comfortable walking distance but an easy 5-10 minutes by car. Apart from the hotels own amenities there is a supermacs/papa john's restaurant, coffee and convenience stores about 5 minutes walk away. Our family room for 4, was a nice size with two large double beds and still ample open space. There is a minor fee for a pass to use the leisure centre nearby but, as it was a quite weekend, the receptionist let us have one for free.

After passing through the reception and restaurant areas, the hotel seems slightly old. Borderline pricey for what is offered but perhaps this is not too unusual for today's standards in Ireland.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, the reception team made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless check-in. Throughout my stay, the level of service I received was truly five-star. Whether it was at the restaurant, where the staff were attentive and friendly, or simply interacting with team members throughout the hotel, everyone was professional, warm, and eager to help. The people here truly elevate the experience and make this hotel stand out. Highly recommended!

The bathroom, in particular, was in serious need of renovation—everything felt old and on its last legs. In an era of AI and modern technology, it was surprising to find that the TV wasn’t even a smart one, which is a standard in most hotels now. Overall, the lack of updates really took away from the experience.

Family room, great size. 2 double beds which were very comfortable. Seating area, big window, nice and bright. Wardrobe space. Bathroom toiletries were beautiful. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast the following morning. Our server, Aoife was extremely helpful and accommodating with some special requests we had.for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and topped up with fresh items continuously. All staff in the breakfast area were also extremely friendly and helpful.

There were extra pillows in the room which was just as well as my pillow was particularly lumpy. Only one lift operating in the hotel. We were on the 4th floor and it took a very long time to get a lift, then sometimes you had to wait for other people to get in first and for the lift to return back down.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were really nice and friendly. Rooms were comfortable.

We had access to the swimming pool in a local leisure centre but it was a bit of an uphill trek and it had to be booked in advance. Parking was a little tricky at times but we did always manage to find a space but it was sometimes a bit of a walk away. We stayed 4 nights and one of our rooms was not serviced.

Travelled for a work event. Check In was lightning fast, guinness was good and the whole hotel is spotless. I didnt have any food or breakfast so cant comment on this. But its a nice modern hotel perfect for all types of travellers.

Wouldnt say didnt like. The hotel is a bit outside of the main area of Cork City Centre. Around a 30 min walk to Cork Kent Train Station. So you would probably be getting a bus or Taxi to Cork City Centre.

Grace looked after us and when I called to change the booking from 1 adult and 1 child to 2 adults and 1 child she amended the booking and included breakfast for the second adult free of charge. This would make me come back to this hotel in the future, even if it was a little more expensive than rival hotels as when your traveling with family you appreciate knowing the staff will take care of you.

The lifts are tiny!

Overall staff extremely courteous & helpful. Especially 5* Gill at reservations. Could not praise this lady enough for her kindness & consideration; Gill put into action for my mom. Thank you so much. (Clayton Silversprings Cork city.)

Tap in Bath ran non- stop all night. Unable to uplift the plug in bath, difficult. Little in WC/Shower suitable for guest with disability/mobility issues. Recommendation to up grade & insert grab bars. Or design 1/2 guest rooms purposely designed for such a guest.

Big comfortable room. Good tv. Good bed good wifi. Efficient lift. Windows open. Free parking. Quite close to city. Pleasant setting. Good bathroom, bath and shower. Al clean and fresh. Pleasant staff. Plenty of space everywhere. Iron, hairdryer. Good price for cork as parking is free.

Hot. Kettle didn't work. Only 2 tea bags. Kettle lead too short to reach plug. Coffee machine didn't work. Restaurant expensive.
