I loved the feel of the building. The Staff was very welcoming. I love that the Hotel is right on the water and that it is close to all of the attractions. It had everything we needed for a one-night stay.

I did not like that I could not lock my room door from the inside.

Enjoyed the view of the working waterfront. Plentiful street parking so we could avoid paying for parking in the crowded parking garage. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and roomy.

The bathroom was very small with no counter space for toiletries. While there was a small table and chairs, it was in the back of the room and would have liked to have room to sit in front of windows to see the view. A little inconvenient was the location of the room. Once off the elevator, had to open a door and go up several stairs to get to the room. Mostly only a problem when trying to get a heavy tray of food up to the room (as there was no room service).

Room was very clean and good size .

Couldn't book breakfast early as there was big group of tourists from USA and was no space in the restaurant for breakfast between 8-9 am . Only after this hour .

The location is perfect, right on the front, our room had a sea view, the rooms were big and airy, the cleaners were in every day, leaving biscuits, muffins and tea/coffee and water. There was a lovely view of spike island and other islands. We were close to the train station to go to the city. There is a free car park beyond the train station. I left my car there for the 5 days and we walked everywhere in cobh.

The room was advertised as having an iron but actually doesn't, just for those who may need it. There is a laundry service though.

A charming historic building in the heart of Cobh! It has incredible views of the water as well as a beautiful park right across the street. Easy access to dining options, the titanic museum and more! The rooms were MASSIVE in comparison to most places we stayed in Ireland and were very clean (we also did opt for the deluxe king room but in passing the other rooms also looked to be ample sized). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even when we were out and put a do not disturb on our door, they left a bag for us of extra waters, muffins and towels outside. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say that the location is absolutely fantastic! It’s perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always went out of their way to assist us, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I was also thrilled to learn about the hotel's rich history and unique character. It added a special touch to our experience, and I loved exploring the interesting decor and stories that came with it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay with a wonderful atmosphere!

It was a quick overnight stay to allow us to visit friends. The room was clean & comfortable. Sufficient extra were available in the room, it was clean, spacious & comfortable. We did not indulge in breakfast, but this was an extra cost. The location is perfect for a family or romantic getaway by the water and lots of historic features including the beautiful cathedral.

The information advise that there was private parking was available, but not that there would be additional charges (€7.50 per night). The parking was ample and secure but it should state that there is additional cost for these sort of extra's

Really the best hotelroom I have ever spend the night 😊 I was on holiday in Cobh and spend 4 nights in Commodore Hotel. I had the most breathtaking view, and on 3rd floor there was a terrasse with a view of both the church and the harbour. My room was on the 3rd floor with a view over the J F Kennedy Park and the sea. The hotel is very quiet both from the other in the hotel and from the road and park in front of the hotel. The food is really tastefull and the imployees (from the servants in the restaurant, the roommaids and the persons at the check-in were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is places in lovely surrundings, close to restaurants, pubs, museums and When ever I come to Cobh again there no place I would Esther spend the in, but Commodore Hotel.

I approached reception about 1445pm to see if the room was ready, they advised it wasn’t and to come back after 1500pm. When I returned after 1500pm the room was ready. However, when I went to the room the notice on the door advised it had been cleaned the previous day.. why lie at reception. !!! If they advised no early check ins ( even 15 minutes ) I would understand, but to blatantly lie does not set up a good customer service experience as a first impression. Overall the hotel is excellent and the location could not be better.

You could not get a better location than this hotel! The staff were super nice and helpful. I was hoping to get a better rate as a walk in with no reservations but it was not the case. I had to book my room with Booking.com while I was at the reception. I was surprised by this. The shower drain did not work therefore flooding the bathroom floor and resulting in a short shower and nobody else taking a shower after me. I did report it to the front desk and she said that she would have someone attend to it. Overall, it was a great stay!
