**room nicely decorated **comfy bed and bedding **quality shower and bathroom facilities **nice and peaceful from outside the room **coffee machine, nice idea! - more coffee pods would be even better! **good ambience lighting **good picture on the telly **perfect eating in your Collin's Restaurant **tasty and satisfying breakfast **a modern hotel with good quality decor too!

The room was far too hot and so my sleep wasn't that good. The cartons of spring water were too warm to drink to satisfy your thirst when waking up in a hot and stuffy room. A fridge with chilled water would be an advantage!

The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was accessible friendly but the fittings were dated [like the shower head] and the washroom sink was cracked. The reception staff were very helpful & polite. Having the leisure centre is fun, but can be very busy at times. The facilities [swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi etc] there were also clean and good. The food options in the restaurant are not very inspiring - we had one dinner there and the food was OK. Not that much for vegetarians and vegans in terms of options.

There was a lot of noise outside the property late into the night [not anybody can do anything about rowdy teens] needed to keep windows open to get some ventilation and that affected sleep quality.

we Liked how the Room Was Tidy & Clean The Walking Shower the Coffee maker Machine Everything was good And Perfect And Nice & Clean And Quite Were we were put And The staff were lovely & Also The Breakfast Was Amazing ... and the staff were lovely There two 😊😊 And Off course you cant Forget the Comfort & The Quiteness And The Apple Juice Off course u cant bait a Glass Off apple Juice And The staff at the counter for the swimming were lovely 2 swimming pool Sauna Steam Room Was Lovely And the jacuzzi and swimming pool Were lovely & Amazing to We went to The Carrigaline hotel a few times but never Went Swimming Or Had Breakfast there so since we went here again It Was Lovely 😊😊😁😁 I really recommend going back there again

there Wasnt Anything We Didnt Like ... to be Fair

Location (in the centre, close to shops and playground), Rooms (sufficient size, clean, comfortable bathroom), Cleanliness in general, Restaurant (many options in the menu, quick service), Car park

Swimming pool - two lanes are dedicated for long swimming. If these two lanes are full, then you have to use the third lane. At certain times, there are so many people in the third lane, so, even short swimming is not possible at that moment. This lane should be wider to allow more people to swim at the same lane at the same moment.

From the minute you walk in I was greeted with a very smiley face Faby at reception I always ask for ice in my room and extra towels within 5 mins there were at my room excellent service staff very friendly helpful . Breakfast was amazing staff were so friendly funny chatty there was one girl she wore a head scarf such a pretty girl she really looked after us xxx

Okkkk in our room 143, there was 5 cracked on the bathroom tiles. More biscuits please u have 4 coffees but 2 biscuits . The bin in bedroom the bag was tore with a hole in it not good enough. Oh 1 thing I would put a very bright picture or mat at reception a bit to dark

The rooms were nice and comfortable. And the front desk staff were exceptional both before we arrived as well as while we were there. We booked a total of 3 rooms and everyone was very comfortable.

It is quite a large property so required a good bit of walking to rooms, etc. 2 in our group are elderly and that was a little more difficult for them. Also there isn't a whole lot of things within walking distance. That wasn't as big of a deal for us since we needed to drive more with our elderly travelers anyway. But not many pubs, bars, restaurants very close.

Loved everything, from the minute we arrived. We were travelling for a concert & our room wasn't available until 4pm but the receptionist, said she would ring as soon it was available. They rang & we were allowed in room, earlier than expected. Situated in a beautiful place. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable. The room & facilities, just perfect. So sorry that we didn't book for 2 nights. Excellent choice for breakfast & all the staff, were very pleasant & helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel, we definitely would come back & stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in a really beautiful welcoming town. The restaurant Collins bar and the Bistro really do serve 5 star food ,just wonderful. The hotel is a fantastic starting point for Cobh and kinsale and just on the outskirts of Cork city, by far the best choice. Swimming pool and facilities great. Staff so warm and welcoming. Prices ar hotel very reasonable. Would highly recommend a stay here and i would not look anywhere else if i return. Breakfast by far one of the best I've had with choices for everyone.

Hotel was lovely and very Christmassy. Room really nice and the staff were superb Foid really good in the bar the restaurant only opens Friday and Saturday evenings .

Put a note in rooms of breakfast times as finish at 10 on weekdays which is early if you are on a break. However we looked online the night before and thought it was 10.30 which is weekend time and arrived for breakfast at 10 doors were locked to the dining room. The manager followed us down obviously realising we had made a mistake had the doors reopened and staff cook a hot breakfast for my husband I had the porridge still out. They were very kind and did not try rush us out checking with me again to reassure I would not like a cooked breakfast. So again excellent service by great staff. Thank you Carrigaline Court Hotel Our son lives in Cork now so we will be revisiting.

First off, the hotel's location was super convenient. There's a bus stop right outside that can whisk you to the city center in just 20-30 minutes. Now, here's where it gets interesting. We initially booked a room that looked all shiny and new on Booking.com, but to our surprise, the one we were assigned was straight out of a different era – old and, to be honest, a bit spooky. It even had that 'horror movie' vibe. But, hold on, don't let that scare you away! A quick chat with the receptionist, and they promptly moved us to one of their newly renovated rooms, complete with a heartfelt apology. That switch turned the tables, and we happily forgot about the initial room shock. However, it's worth mentioning for future guests that there is a chance of getting one of the older rooms, so it's something to be aware of when booking. The room's amenities were excellent – a refreshing shower with great water pressure and spotlessly clean. They even provided us with complimentary water and a coffee machine with four free pods – more than enough to start the day right. Everything in the newly renovated room met our expectations, and we'd definitely consider coming back. The only hesitation is the possibility of ending up in one of the older rooms. Another bonus is that the hotel's location is quite close to the main restaurants in town. We had the pleasure of dining at Aroi, which is a fantastic place to eat.

I’d recommend this hotel with one condition: make sure you won't end up in one of the older rooms. It's worth noting that these rooms were not the ones advertised on Booking.com, which showed the newly renovated ones in their ads and booking confirmation. Happy travels!
