The location is truly magical and the staff go out of their way to make you happy even with unreasonable requests. The food was unique and way better than what Im used to getting in hotels. The spa was amazing and the overall experience of the entire stay was relaxing and refreshing. Exceeded my expectations.

We took standard rooms. They are a little small without a balcony. You may want to consider upgrading to a large room if you feel you need more space. Not a deal breaker though. But they are superbly looked after.

I have been to this hotel many times. its a wonderful place. staff was amazing and the facilities were amazing. the food is delicious and very generous

I was however very dissapointed this year with the rooms since we received the rooms on the 6th and 7th floor. i have never had these rooms before so didnt know them. for the amount of money charged, even though it is full borad, the rooms on floor 6 and 7 are not good enough

The staff was excellent. My wife is a vegan and she has special dietary needs. The chef called her up and discussed her food with her. When we went to meals, the staff already knew that she had special requirements and were able to show her what items were on her plan. The chef also went out of his way to prepare special dishes for her so she could enjoy her meals.

We loved the beds by the pool! The meals offered more healthful fare than the usual buffets at hotels. There was a lovely exercise room and well equipped gym. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was attentive.

Even though I'd requested no feather pillows, there were feather pillows when we arrived. They came promptly to switch them, but my request should have been attended to before our arrival. I wish the outdoor pool were open until a later hour, rather than closing several hours before sunset. The room was on the small side (especially considering the super high price!) but was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmel Forest. The rooms were very nice and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Having access to the spa and both pools was an absolutely fantastic way to spend our vacation and we were able to spend our whole stay within the resort and never get bored or need for anything. Thank you for a very relaxing vacation and I hope to return soon!

Some of the food could have been better, but I appreciated that there were many different options for people with dietary restrictions.

Amazing hotel nice Panoramic view staff especially filipino workers are very Accomodating. The jacuzzi swimming pools are great. Foods are great nothing to say. We will come back again! Shout out to my fellow countrymen who are working there. God bless you all...

It's a beautiful hotel. The location of course - it's in the midst of an expansive forest, overlooking an exceptionally scenic panorama stretching from forest to sea - couldn't be better. The facilities are first class. The food was plentiful, varied and for the most part excellent.

it's a bit pricey but that's to be expected here I didn't see why the shower was designed in such a way that it's difficult to prevent water from emerging into the bathroom

Dining room is too small. It feels like a bee hive, crowded and noisy. The food is a little bit higher quality than standard hotels we expected more for the price we paid

On arrival there was an error and my credit card was charged twice, as it was an international cc it took 4 days to return funds!!! During my balancing massage i think the masseuse wasnt paying attention when doing my feet and may have been reading something?? her phone!.

the location is just fabulous, the meals were a delight and generously served, the management was agreeable and flexible to our needs, there place is beautifully decorated and a joy to stay at.

The shower had a leak and whenever used it caused paddles around the room and overflow that leaked into the entrance of our room- What a shame.
