The best thing the Abraham has going for it is it's welcoming vibe. It was the perfect place for what I needed to do that week. The beds were perfect, sheets were clean / crisp and the walls were thick enough that noise was not a probelm. I was impressed with how quickly everyone arrived to the shelters in the middle of the night caring for each other along the way. I was also impressed that even though there was a free music festival the first Friday night I was there, when I got home by 9:30pm, the crowds were gone and it was quiet. I loved the art on the wall and the overall welcoming atmosphere and the fact that people came of all ages and walks of life. Being able to do work in the breakast room or meet with other people over a cup of coffee was very nice. The trip from the airport was also very easy by way of the trains.

The floor in the room could have used a bit more cleaning and the refrigerator was kind of worn out. I really did not need it but it did freeze anything I put in there!

We had an economy room for two: a spacious room with impossibly high ceiling, a kitchenette (including a microwave and a big refrigerator), a safe, a TV, a city view (even with a bit of the sea). The rooftop garden was lovely. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and no problem with coffee machines on Shabbat and such. Reliable Wi-Fi. Great location in the center, very close to Allenby subway station and the Rothschild boulevard. Nice and helpful staff. Also, I've attended the Language Exchange event on Saturday night, right in the hotel, and it was a lot of fun!

Everything is a bit old - peeling paint, mismatched furniture and such, but it's really a minor issue. Also the shower was quite cold on our first night (on subsequent nights it was wonderful).

I was surprised by how clean was the whole establishment, the room was a 12-bed female dorm and it was almost spotless. I stayed only for one night, but the market, the beach and an artsy Neve Tzedek are all really close, so I managed to get a feel of the place even in such a short time :). There are even affordable small fastfood/falafel/vegan places in the neighborhood. The light rail stop is in front of the building and the the airport is just about 40 minutes away by train. It gives you an additional peace of mind that you won't miss your plane because of a major traffic jam :).

I just had an issue with wifi - I had an online call and the connection was very slow and low quality.

1. Communication: Very good, whatsapp & emails quick responding, English spoken very well. Informative website and IG. 24h desk open. 2. Location: walking distance to the centre, 2 mins from paid parking lot. 30mins walk to Jaffa- old town. 30mins walk to train station. 3. Wi-Fi: fast, everywhere. 4. Bathroom: very clean bathroom, towels provided and changed when necessary for free. 5. Kitchen: didn’t use kitchen facilities but available, coffee and tea for free, water stations everywhere 6. Bedroom: dorm of 12, choose your own bunk, bed linen provided, comfortable mattress, AC in the bedroom. Safe and secure, bring your padlock. 3 Level Bunk beds. 7. Shared Area: Excellent. New rooftop, 3 bars available. Lots of activities within the hostel, experienced the yard sale, pub crawl (every day different activity, check the website), free walking tour. 8. Accessibility: multiple lifts available, disabled access everywhere 9. Price: £25 pppn 10. Meals: breakfast- included. Healthy, typical Middle Eastern food. 11. Overall impression: Brilliant chain of hostels. Very fun & open-minded & relaxed & safe.

I thought the vibe in the hostel was great and most of the staff on reception or very helpful with the exception of one person.

The one person on reception and also the policy about having to take pot luck when it comes to booking a lower bunk. You should make allowances for people that are disabled and give them priority. If I come to stay again I doubt whether I would request a dorm anyway. The economy room was great and I got just as much comfort in that as I did the luxury room.

There is not even a small threshold in the shower. When using it, all the water is poured over the entire shower and toilet bowl. After a shower, you can't go to the bathroom without shoes until the water dries. But in general, if you wash once, there is not much water. The bed creaked a little

The room was an excellent choice for us. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had good bread, cereal, boiled eggs, salad. Housekeeping staff did a very good job and the room was clean, large, and well ventilated. The handicap accessibility was excellent—bathroom was well equipped to accommodate someone in a wheelchair. ATM on property. Lovely courtyard and house cat who relaxed with us which we enjoyed to pass time

All the staff were amazing. A bit shout out to the young , slim guy. I think his name was Samuel. The breakfast was very good and filling. I got a YouTube channel where I show the hostel in one of my videos. " I'm travelling to the most disliked country in the world." My channel is called " MorgansWorld760 "

The beds would be so much better if they had curtains around them. That added bit of extra privacy makes a massive difference

The best thing there is the rooftop with beautiful garden and bar with the most welcoming barman I've ever met 😁 and beer was good! Also the hotel staff is nice, the room and bed are comfortable and clean, and location is great, next to tramway line and Rothschild boulevard Thank you, Abraham hostel!

Wouldn't say the breakfast is great, would like to have hot food (and also coffee from machine was cold) and be full ready to its begining in 7:30 for people who need to have it in the early morning fast And one little thing - would be nice to have a curtain at the bad to close it, because some people turned on the light in the middle of night (and its just more comfortable)
