I booked this hotel last minute after my train was unexpectedly cancelled, and it turned out to be a real lifesaver. The location is incredibly convenient—just a one-minute walk from Montpellier Saint-Roch station, which made everything so much easier. I was especially relieved that they allow late check-in and have a 24/7 reception—it took a lot of stress off arriving late. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, which was comforting after a long travel day. My room was clean and the bed was super comfortable—exactly what I needed for a good night’s rest.

The only downside was the lack of basic toiletries like shampoo and a toothbrush, which would have been helpful given the unexpected stay. Still, overall a great spot for a short stay.

Great location, walking distance to everything in the old town and right by the tram stop and train station. Excellent air conditioning, spotless bathroom, very quiet in our rear-facing room, lots of light and air from skylight (with blackout blind and remote control). Close to supermarket and cafes. Easy access to Montpellier Danse venues. Good lift. Staff all friendly and very helpful when booked taxi was late.

Didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on that. Foyer decor is a bit dated, room decor good. More towel rails/hooks in bathroom would be helpful for re-use of towels.

The hotel is in an excellent location if you're coming by train (or need to continue on by train), and is clean with modern, clean rooms. Super easy to walk everywhere from here - to the city centre, sights and Galleria Lafayette shopping centre. The room was a very good size though though with a view to another room's window (but I had the curtains shut to try and keep the very limited air-con in). It was quiet though and the bathroom was bigger than expected.

Limited air-conditioning. The last time I stayed here, the air-con was able to be self-managed in your room and as it's very hot in Montpellier in the summer, you could ensure a cool room. Now, they have it controlled by the hotel unfortunately. The room was too warm for me generally and it meant that I couldn't take a nap upon arrival or work from there as hoped. The reception is also not air-conditioned for sitting in as an alternative, so generally the hotel is not ideal for anyone seeking colder air-con in the summer (like some Europeans who dislike air-con).

Very conveniently located, right by the train station. Helpful and friendly staff. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel in the morning, and explore the city first, before coming back to check-in in the afternoon. Very clean, spacious and nicely furnished room with very high ceiling. Love the big window.

The design of the shower area was not optimal. Even with the shower pointing very much within the walled area, water would leak into the bathroom floor, wetting the floor mat. We would prefer non-carpeted floors, or light carpeted floors, for hygiene reasons. The variegated dark colouring of the carpet gave a sense that it could be dirty… but that’s just the sense given. I don’t think it really is dirty. Everything else was very clean in the room so I am sure the carpet is as well.

The location was fantastic. Right in the heart of the old city, with a tram stop in front of the hotel and main train station directly across the road. The double glazed windows kept all the noise out but we could have fresh air in the room if we wanted it. Everything we wanted to see and do was within close walking distance which made the stay so lovely. Beware the brasserie across the road from the hotel ( they will overcharge and yell at you if you protest€17 for 3 coffees and pastries!!) Everything was clean and neat and if I had to say anything the room sizes were a little cosy. However the beds were generous and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were very helpful

The room is small but clean and neat. It has everything you need.Very nice stuff, as it allowed me to check in at 10 am. Good diversity of food for breakfast.

The sink was clogged, which should be fixed. The central location near the train station has its own negative side as there are a lot of homeless and creepy people always near, so do not feel secure in the evening if you are a solo traveler and a girl on top.

The staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. It was a shortish walk to everything.

The location was a plus and a minus in regards to being across the street from the train station. The room was on the small side. The bathroom was very small and could use a grab bar in the small shower. The tiling was beautiful, but I was afraid I was going to slip when it got wet.

The location was absolutely perfect for me. Across the road from the station and very short walk to the city centre and all the tourist attractions. Friendly and helpful staff.

The cleaners were lovely polite ladies but the cleaning schedule was quite erratic. The cleaners tend to appear any time between 1400-1800, which was a bit inconvenient as usually they would turn up just as I had returned to my room during the hottest part of the day for a shower and a little rest. The breakfast was okay, simple but sufficient, My only recommendation would be a reasonably fresh loaf of bread rather than hard rolls.

Comfortable bed. Ok WiFi once past the tiresome login screen. Location opposite the station.

Small room. Wardrobe full with safe, fridge, kettle and crockery: no space to put clothes or luggage. Unpleasant smell of air freshener masking smoke in a no smoking room. Window about 2m from a wall and immediately above kitchen extractor fans. Lack of a proper shower splash guard. As underwhelming as most Best Western hotels.

Friendly receptionists. Great location, I can easily explore the city just on foot and access the tram and train to the beaches and other towns around. Although next to the railway station, the room facing the inner yard was quiet.

The room was clean overall, but it wasn't cleaned very carefully. There was dust on the TV remote, telephone and bedside table. There were also dirty towels left in the corner behind a chair, which I found out after I moved the chair.
