Red Lotus was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and clean (especially by Indian standards), making for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a huge plus. The location is excellent—right in the center of the city and just a short walk from major attractions. What truly stood out, though, was the reception staff. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with train ticket issues. Their attentiveness made a real difference. The room was also well-equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the heat. I’d definitely recommend this place for a few days.

The room was clean and spacious with huge bed and couch. My room had about three door locks which was a bit annoying but other than that it was good. The hotel is located near a populated road but there are some hotels nearby which was very convenient. The breakfast consisted of South Indian cuisine and they even made hot Dosas for us.

The bathroom sometimes smelled bad but it was tolerable(they gave air fresheners). The hotel is located on the first floor and there are no lifts. It was a bit of a pain to carry the luggage over the stairs.

The property is in main area so everything is walkable from the property, rooms are big with very nicely functioning AC, staff were friendly

They provide very basic breakfast option, upon asking for an extra egg( which is 6rupees) you will be straight denied on your face, Before booking just confirm with the property if they can remove breakfast option from your package and reduce the cost, by that way you will have better option to eat in breakfast

The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staffs were so polite and helpful; we didn't know that there was no lift and we got a room in the 2 nd floor but my mom had medical issue and they took care of that. There hospitality was amazing. There breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. All the places in the White town the promenade beach were at walkable distance.

One small issue we faced (apart from the absence of lift) was that our bathroom for the new room smelled and the exhaust wasn't working. Apart from that, the stay was comfortable and nice.

The rooms were very clean and the AC and restroom was quite clean. The staff was friendly. It's close to a lot of main attractions in town and saves on a lot of transportation money. Worth the money, had gone expecting worse but was genuinely surprised for the quality of the rooms considering the cost.

The breakfast was a moderate spread and a couple of dishes were not refilled once empty.

Ideally located near Nehru Park/Manakula Vinayagar Kovil. Nice view when you get out of your room. The room is very pretty. The staff is discreet but friendly.

Just wasn’t warned that the hotel’s entrance closes at midnight so couldn’t get out of the hotel to get some air.

Stay was really good .... location is perfect everything is at walkable distance. Rock beach is 700m French colony is 800m All the best cafe's are nearby just 500 m Staff was really good As we couldn't find auto or Ola car in the morning he dropped us to station ...very good staff Very sincere people Very good .... budget friendly Highly recommended

It is located in the market Area! One can go for a lot of shopping! Rooms are spacious and neatly maintained. Breakfast was very nice and it is served in a roof top setting :)

Only issue was fining a Car parking but somehow it was managed as after 9 PM you get several parking spots right in front of hotel.

Room size is great for the family and couple. Location of the hotel is very good near to beach, french colony, restaurant and market. Breakfast is great. The hotel decoration has a heritage vibe.
