El Faro is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. If you love swimming in the sea well this hotel is must visit. The hotel feels very private & relaxing .The views from reception is what draws you in. Staff very nice and discreet. Our stay was so lovely that we ended up coming back for our final night before our flight home.

Having to pay extra for an omelette , pancakes, poached eggs for breakfast. Surely breakfast is breakfast. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and this was a first. I fully understand supplements on dinner menus for fillet steak, certain fish etc but charging extra for an omelette, poached eggs is really questionable .

We are a couple traveling, and we were looking for peace and tranquility. We found it in abundance at this magnificent hotel, perched on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Porto Conte Bay near Alghero. The staff was pleasant, kind, and always in the right place at the right time. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, and we appreciated the calm atmosphere. The sun loungers on the beach are arranged in such a way that it feels like it’s just you and nature — as if you are completely alone in the world. That creates an incredible sense of serenity and peace. There were very few guests with children, and the hotel was quiet and calm. If you value a peaceful getaway, if you appreciate natural beauty and calm surroundings, and if you want a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, then this hotel is a perfect choice. The value for money is excellent. The rooms aren’t overly luxurious, but they have everything you need. So we wholeheartedly recommend this place. If we ever return to Sardinia, this will be the first hotel we consider staying at again. The property is in an amazing location, beautiful views, intimacy, confort but also close to the Alghero city. The staff was amazing as well, really professional and welcoming. We are really thankfull for making our stay that great! The pool and overall how was the hotel built is perfect from each point. Very clean everything, from sunbeds to the pools and to the room. We loved the fact that the sea sunbeds were located in a way of which you have intimacy. Overall the hotel offers you a great experience and we highly recommend ! For sure for our next visit in Sardinia we will stay here.

I loved this hidden gem, the hotel is set in a quiet part right by the sea, it's serene and relaxing most of the time. Every member of the team showed top performance, we loved our breakfasts and the view from the restaurant. Our room faced the sea and it was heavenly to wake up and go to sleep by the soothing sounds of the waves.

It's not a criticism, it's only a warning - the hotel is built on the rocks and all the time you will need to go up and down steps. For me it was an additional way to exercise! I personally loved how creatively space was used and in particular how the beach area was split into individual spots with umbrellas and chais lounge chairs for sunbathing.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location and staff, comfortably large room with lovely view. Great pools and private swimming/snorkelling. Hired the speedboat for a 6-hour trip up the coast which was the highlight of our stay, found a lovely beach so dropped the anchor, had some lunch and some great swimming and sunbathing

Ten euros to hire snorkelling gear, two of us every day for a week :D will bring our own next time - that's the only thing I didn't like about this place, otherwise it was absolutely wonderful

Absolutely stunning property and the grounds were incredible. The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from and of high quality. Swimming pool was very relaxing and the views to die for. Rooms were lovely, although the bed a bit hard for my liking. Staff were very attentive although it felt like they could relax and make it more inviting for guests such as not having so many rules around the pool and pool bar. Overall an excellent stay and have to say the restaurant was some of the best food we have had in our trip. Thank you

The hotel is located in a beautiful place, the view is amazing. They are very strict with the cleanliness, all is impecable. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. The relaxation areas are very numerous. Heatead pool. Room and bathroom dimension very generous.

The food at breakfast was the same for a whole week :(. A 4 star hotel with pool and spa that does not provide bathrobes and slippers in the room for all guests, Only for certain types of rooms. For us it was an extra cost of 10 euro. The Window courtains do not Block The light and in the morning The light gets în the room pretty early.

The place is really amazing - located in a peaceful neighborhood, far from the traffic and the noise, quiet and perfect to relax. The room was amazing (I suggest booking the one with the sea view since it’s gorgeous), with good shower and plenty of space ☺️ The restaurant at the property is solid, we had dinner one night, and lunch during the day at the bar. The most stunning about the place - the beach. It is super cozy, quiet, and perfect to enjoy and relax. It is a private hotel beach so it’s not crowded and the water is clean and amazing. P.S. Special thanks to the lifeguards at the beachfront, one day I was swimming during a windy weather so got stung by a jellyfish, and they were super helpful with the cream :)

Everything was amazing

The sea view from the bedroom balcony was spectacular. The location was about 25 minutes from the main city Alghero which we had to get taxis to and from, and it was about 15min from the airport. The room was nice, spacious with great wardrobes.

We were disappointed with the food that the hotel offered. The breakfast buffet and poolside food was nice, but we were quite disappointed with the dinner food, it was only ok and after dining there one night we decided to not go back and went into Alghero every other night for dinner. We also booked massages in the spa which weren't good, the staff were lovely but we expected a much higher level of skill.

When you enter the room, open the doors to balcony and you see sun and blue waters surrounding the peninsula where hotel is located, it feels simply surreal. The location is amazing, with rocks that you can hide for a day and waters that you can stay forever.

The only thing I would improve is breakfast. For a hotel like this I would expect more choices for fruits, jams, bread and for sure, not to pay extra for an omelette or pancake.
