First off, the location was excellent. A few minute walk to shops and restaurants. The room was also set in a beautiful building with a very cool vintage elevator. The staff were also super nice and explained everything well. There were a lot of facilities like a microwave, water, sun umbrella’s (you don’t need to bring to go to the beach!!), cutlery, plates and glasses in the common area. There was also fresh water and orange juice and a basket with snacks like croissants and crackers everyday filled up in our room. It really topped our expectations! The bed was also good and the balcony was set up nicely in Parisian style. We loved our stay!

The only thing we didn’t like, but maybe not perse the property’s fault, was our neighbor upstairs who watered her plants in the morning which made breakfast on our balcony impossible. It’s literally raining and totally wet for a few hours which was a bit disappointing. But again, that is the neighbors fault. And next they did make up the room quite late, in the afternoon so sometimes we did not have a clean room when we came back from our day out. But the cleaner was super nice to us though and helped us with everything!!

Great location oposite of train station and central bus stations, next to all bus lines, very convinient for visiting various beaches and hoping to surrounding sites. Within walking distance from all main city attractions. Free very good coffee and tea for all guests, as well as small snacks juices and water provided. Basic accommodation but relatively ok.

The doors and shutters are very old outdated so when you open them everyone can here. They need replacement. And also the front balconies it's great thet you have them but are not clean at all they need regular cleaning so guest can comfortably use them as well as small chairs and table which are not existent (only balconies in internal yard have tables and chairs).

The property was in an excellent location, a two minute walk to the bus and train station. I read you can take the train from the airport, but we didn’t do that as planned . You can also walk to the historic part of town in about 5 minutes . There is a common room where the host provided coffee and tea. Solana, the woman who checked us in, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. My husband injured his ankle and Solana went out to get him some ice packs. She also gave him a big chair to make him comfortable. Wow!! That was so nice! The room was in a building with a vintage elevator that was very cool. The room was super clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Marlin Rooms!!!

Nothing- we liked everything!

This was the experience where expectations were lower than reality! The room is even better in real life than in the pictures, the staff was super welcoming, we had free snacks, coffee, drinks, a shared kitchen where everything can be found. The location is the most central that you can get, perfect before the flight home.

You can see that rooms are being used frequently, a little “makeover” would be perfect, but still the rooms were super clean and comfy.

The location was perfect right in front of the train station and bus station. They were helpful in storing our bags before checking in and after checking out free of charge. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfy. We found a basket with some goodies and the mini fridge had also some beverages free of charge. Would stay again.

The room would have been perfect if some small maintenance was done, nothing major. When we asked what the cost was to extend our checkout by 5hrs we were told €10 per hour, which in my opinion was a bit overpriced so we opted to just leave our bags in their storage room. The wall between rooms is so thin that we could hear everything that was going on in the room next to us.

The location is brilliant! Right next to the bus/train station and you don’t even notice it! You are located right in the city centre, with cafes, restaurants, sightseeing locations and more all within walking distance. The communication with the hosts was great, and they are super friendly and kind, and in addition to this the (cleaning) service was amazing. In short; highly recommend booking this stay and its great value for money.

Basically at the train station which was perfect, staff helped me move my luggage which was great, you get cute little balcony. It was no prob to store my luggage for couple hours as my flight was later in the afternoon (thank you!!!)

Elevator was broken when I was there and I had a lot of luggage so that was a bit complicated but staff helped me to move everything.

Comfortable, close to the city centre and the train station. Room was sizeable and some lovely provisions such as a fridge, free water and snacks, and a communal area with some essentials. The staff were so friendly.

Just some minor matters, such as my sink plug wouldn’t close, and difficult to find the location for the first time. And since there is no reception desk you can’t be 100% certain the person you’re talking to is staff.

Marlin Rooms, located quite opposite the main train station is a nice place to stay in Cagliari. The appartment is not really visible at the first sight from the street, but it is within an nice nostalgic building with high rooms. We got the room with view at the courtyard - the room was calm and we liked it. The rooms were clean and spacious, also the bathroom was comfortable to use. Every room gets some beverages and snacks and it is possible to use the coffee machine and tea bags and tea pot. We did not have a breakfast in our rate but with these food and drinks a kind of breakfast "is included" in all rooms. The host ist very friendly. Outside the building there are two small food shops in the near and the main center is not far away. I think there are not much parking spots in the near but if you were with public transport like us in Sardegna it is a nice hotel. There are busses going directly and cheap to Vilasimius every morning at 8:15 (the ARST bus terminal is directly at the train station terminal), driving 1h and 20min to it. If you descend then in Vilasimius there are regulary driving beach busses from there ("Summer Bus") and visiting some of the beaches for the tourists.

Price was a little bit high for italian conditions, but I think that this ist typically in Sardegna.

We absolutely loved our stay at Marlin Rooms! Perfect location right across from the train station and the town centre with no noise - also close to the port and a 8 min train from the airport. The staff were amazing - very accomodating and responsive via WhatsApp. They also cleaned rooms daily and restocked snacks everyday. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Cagliari. Absolutely no complaints !
