Beautiful Venetian styled property in the most perfect location. The orange line 1A water taxi from the airport drops you a 2minute walk to the accommodation, couldn’t ask for better! Arrived after reception was closed and instructions were whatsapped and the keycard was left on the reception desk for self-checkin clearly marked with my name. Instructions were clear and no issues gaining access. There is a fridge in the room to keep water etc cool. Accommodation was quiet despite beside located beside a small canal of water. For awareness, The accommodation is over a small bridge, along a narrow walkway beside the canal. Google maps helps locate this. There is no lift in the property only stairs.

I stayed in the quadruple room and the bathroom door lock was broken and would slide open. The travel sized hairdryer they provided would need replacing as it kept folding closed mid drying of the hair. Not massive issues but it may be for some. Also the room was quite cold with only very thin coverings. I checked in the wardrobe and there were no other thicker duvets and the thermostat was up to the highest temperature but no heat. We didn’t raise this as we weren’t in the room much and wore warm clothes to sleep but for others this might be something they would like to know in advance.

Hotel was easy to get to from the vaporetto stop. The room was quaint. It fit right in with Venice. Amenities were great. Air conditioning worked but cooler would have been better for us Americans. It was fine. No breakfast was offered, but pastry shops were nearby. Very close to St Marks. Staff was very pleasant.

The only complaint is the air conditioning worked but was not what we were used to as Americans. It was very hot out in June and it just wasn’t refreshing when we would come in the room after being outside. It was ok and we eventually regulated but we Would have liked it to be a little cooler. Everything else was great!

This is an adorable, quaint, Venetian style hotel in the city center, on a waterway, with easy walking distance to affordable restaurants, the plaza, and transportation. The room was comfortable and clean. We were given instructions on how to enter, and everything went smoothly. We arrived at midnight, and the streets were safe and quiet. There are a few bridges and steps on the way to the hotel. We were given the Iris room on the first floor (which is actually the second floor) with its own independent air conditioner, thank heaven. The hoteliers were very responsive to our inquiries before we arrived.

The walls were pretty thin. We could hear literally every conversation in the alley, but people stopped talking at a reasonable hour and resumed the same. Even with that, I highly recommend this hotel. There is also a frig and a hot water pot in the room. We really enjoyed it.

We wanted stay with heart of Venice and not travelling. . It nice location. 3 mins to St. Marco ar. 6 mins to Academia Bridge. Check in is possible from 0:00 , and is option self check-in. Receptionist Laura sent to me clear instrution. Thank you for this. Day before our check-in Laura sent to me information about some event on Grand Canal ; and possible problem with vaporetto. That was very kind , because I have time and planed different way . I love we was keep in touch additionally by WhatsApp. When we come Laura meet us very friendly with amazing smile . She explain everything and kindly gave some advice what is worth to see. Also said where we find nice local food in relatively good price . Thank you for this, we ate it and was delicious 😋. About room I liked design . It is very old building and we would like feel how people live in this architecture. We loved is proper open window and outside have porta so you make completely dark in room. We used porta when want to rest on siesta time. Air conditioner working excellent. It very comfortable have a small fridge. We put a water and some yoghurt to cold it. All was very clean without any smell. And was daily cleaning. Second Laura was also very friendly. She gave me option to left my baggage after check out. Her instrution was clear and easy . She gave me special code to open door. Thank you for this. Without baggage I had option spend other hours to walking comfortable. My flight was ar. 8pm. I love the silence in this place. It is heart of Venice but you have a comfortable silence. We slept very well. Wi-fi working excellent. I had problem to connect in first moment but Laura help me with it. I highly recommend this place if you want be in heart of Venice and safe your time and energy not use to much transport. Thank you for all . Especially for both Laura . In the shower cabin one small part need repair. But I understand is need sometimes time .

Laura was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The location is great for all the main attractions and very close to a Vaporetto stop which made transfer from the airport and ferry port very easy. The room was very comfortable and spacious with very good air conditioning, drinking water from the tap and comfortable beds (including the sofa bed that our daughter used). There was even daily housekeeping which we were not expecting.

Nothing it was all perfect

The location of this accomodation was extremely convenient. Only a few steps from the Santa Maria de Giglio stop and within 7 minutes walking distance to St. Mark's square. A nice quiet location and only a few hundred meters from nearby restaurants. Directions and check in instructions were provided with great detail and care. We had the suite at the top floor with 2 rooms, 3 flights of steep stairs but totally manageable. Beds were comfortable and the room was light and AC worked great , which was necessary in the current extreme heat. They were also kind enough to store out bags after check out while we finished exploring the neighborhood.

This place was almost perfect. Nothing to complain about for the price.

This Guest House upgraded us to an apartment from a small double room, so we were pleased to have more space. The lady on reception, Laura, was very helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

The living room area was only just high enough for me to stand upright and I am only 5'9". The shower was small and not suitable if you are of a larger size, though we both managed okay.

The place is really well located and easy to find. The journey from the airport is very simple as well. Everything we needed was in the rooms we booked. The ladies at the reception are amazing and super helpful. We arrived early and just thought to leave our bags at reception but the rooms were already ready when arriving. They’re super accommodating and made everything so simple! Thank you again so much for everything!

Location was great, walking distance to shops, attractions and grand canal.

No view form apartment windows. There’s a canal right outside but windows are high and don’t offer a view. Also property declined use of a credit card to collect taxes stating they would have to pay a commission if collected via credit card. “Cash only” should have been clearly stated when booking or provide credit card an option.

Laura was a great host before and during our stay. The location is super--3 minute walk from water taxi/bus stop and maybe 6 or 7 minutes to Piazza San Marco, Teatro La Fenice, etc. Our studio apartment was very roomy and secure. The in room kitchenette with a good sized refrigerator made it easy to eat breakfast in the room.

Nothing really. Only minor improvement would have been the availability of some kind of upholstered seating in the room. There were chairs and a small table to eat at, etc. Really no issues or concerns.
