The location is perfect, right in the heart of touristic Venice, easily accessible from the airport but water-bus, then max 5 mins walk. From the hotel you can walk in any direction, because the hotel is right in the middle of the magnificent Venice! :) The hotel building has a vintage and historic flavor, great reception, great restaurant, amazing breakfast, superb staircase and wonderful rooms. You feel like you are transported in the venetian baroque era. The reception staff is friendly, funny, talkative and very supportive with any request we had. The room was very very beautiful, the bed, imperial. We really felt like royal family. And please, do yourself a favor and book a dinner at the restaurant of the hotel (booking at the reception). It's divine! The full menu (appetizers, 1st and 2nd meals and deserts) is not from this world! You'll be blown away. We just found a gem among the hotels in Venice and definitely will come back again. Everything was way over our expectations! Thank you, Saturnia & International, for this amazing experience!

The Saturnia is a lovely old Venetian palazzo renovated into a hotel in the beginning of the 20th century. We chose it because of a high customer satisfaction score and its elegant interior, replete with antique furniture, original architectural details and and the grande style of old Venice. The photos do it justice, but It was really the staff that accelerated our stay into 5+ stars - everyone at the front desk, the bar and at breakfast were so kind, and very helpful with suggestions for meals out. As someone who lives in hotels for work, I often ask employees how long they've been working there. At Saturnia, no one responded with less than 20 years. This immediately reveals to me that the hotel management takes good care of their staff, who in turn take good care of the guests, which was exactly our experience. Our room was lovely, with a fantastic balcony and city view, the bathroom had beautiful tiles, and the beds were comfortable. The quality and variety of the buffet breakfast was excellent. We took advantage of the spa facilities for a small additional charge and were very happy with our experience. I'd recommend Hotel Saturnia & International to anyone who wanted a bit of a splurge in Venice.

It has nothing to do with the Hotel Saturnia. But if you go to Murano glass factory, I suggest you don’t buy anything, because you can buy the same item by the same artist in galleries in Venice for almost half the price despite all “factory special discounts” scam. Yes, the Murano glass factory is super overpriced despite all their special discounts.

I cannot fault anything about this place. We stayed in a triple room with our 5yo and everything was perfect. The room was large with a closet and a lot of storage space. The communal gym and jacuzzi were at the back with a view of the canal, which was very nice. There are spots like comunal areas very nicely decorated around the building. The staff were superb! The breakfast has many options and you can have prosecco if you want to, there is also a machine for you to make your own waffle which is a good touch. We asked for a water taxi to go to the airport and having a private boat access on the back of the hotel was the cherry on top of the cake. Don’t look for anywhere else if you are looking for a unique and special stay. I recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Right when I arrived I was surprised by the friendly staff and clean rooms. If you are very anxious about clean rooms, this hotel might be for you. I was looking for fresh and modern hotel in Venice and I was afraid that I will be disappointed with moldy and dirty room - but the reality was very pleasant actually. The bedsheets and rugs were all clean and the bathroom was also pristine clean (although it is true that some bathroom equipment might need replacement). What surprised me even more was Rituals soaps and shampoos in the bathroom, and an amazingly atmospheric restaurant with bar in the ground floor. The prices were a little bit higher than I anticipated, but as I saw later, they are normal for Venice. I would visit the restaurant even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel - it was that good! They also make really good birthday surprises in the restaurant, but pssst! The stay is worth the money in winter and outside of carnival season, but I am not sure it is the case in summer (but I haven’t been to other Venice hotels so I really cannot judge that well). The staff was working really hard and everyone was doing their best to cater to me. I was staying there alone and still I was well cared for - which does not happen at every hotel, so kudos to that! I almost forgot how great the location was. Everything was at leg’s reach. But it takes a long time to get there from the ‘transport centre’ in the north of Venice. I didn’t book a breakfast, so I cannot tell you anything on that. Tip: there are flippers in the closet

What some visitors might find unpleasant is the noise from the street during the evening and early in the morning. I didn’t mind, because I go to bed late - and the ‘people noise’ was usually fading away between midnight and 1 AM. But if you care about this, make sure to ask for a better room orientation. Also, the pillows were making my neck spine really stiff. Maybe that is just my problem, anyway I had to sleep without a pillow. And also, the showers have different system than what you are probably used to. Make sure to pull the lever between knobs to regulate water between shower head and bath tap properly. Each knob is marked as blue, so be careful when figuring out which one is hot.

Visited overnight during our stay in Venice. We had a family room which was large and very comfortable with great air conditioning (appreciated after a hot day walking around the city). The staff are absolutely fabulous at the hotel, really helpful and always very attentive. The concierge service was also superb. Location is excellent - right in the heart of the main designer shopping street and less than 5 min walk to the main attractions like the Basilica, Doges Palace etc. Breakfast was tasty with a wide selection of foods. Enjoying a drink from the bar on the rooftop terrace in the evening was also great. We didnt have time to try the wellness area. Would definitely recommend and would visit again in the future!

Everyone in the hotel was kind and friendly and always with a smile. We felt like family. Buffet style breakfast was delicious. Many options for N. American and Europeans.Three hot options like scrambled egg and sausage as well as a waffle machine. Deli meats and cheeses and numerous breads and jams and many sweets and beverage choices along with fruit options, yogurt and cereals. Concierge services were excellent, including detailed information about various options on how to get to the hotel. Jacobo went above and beyond expectations to help us with bookings, information about transportation to and from Hotel and around the city and providing accessories we had accidentally forgotten. The gym had enough essential equipment with a small pool for a very reasonable price to enter per day (5€). Location was phenomenal! A 5 min walk to San Marco's piazza.

All over Italy, including Venice there are no screens on windows, so keep your windows closed to keep out mosquitoes.

Excellent location! Very comfortable. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices, in a lovely outdoor courtyard. Their restaurant is excellent for dinner as well. The hotel has their own water taxi that leaves from the back of the hotel. Very convenient service being picked up from the airport. We used their water taxi again when we had to catch an early train to Florence. Soooo convenient! They packed us some breakfast boxes to go since we would be missing breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was great! The air conditioning worked super. I will stay there again next time we are in Venice!
