To be honest, I had very low expectations for this hotel as I had read a lot of negative reviews before arriving. However, these negative comments were not found to be true in my situation. The room was very modern and clean, and looked like the pictures advertised. The staff were helpful and courteous. The hotel itself was well situated, just a 10-minute walk from St. Mark's Square and Basilica, with lots of shops and restaurants all around. We took the water bus from the railway station and got off at San Marco and then walked to the hotel. I really enjoyed my time in Venice, and the hotel was a big part of that.

The hotel is in a prime location in Venice, just steps away from St. Mark’s Basilica. I found its location key for getting around to many important spots in the city. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. And the breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of foods, but it does include basics like scrambled eggs, coffee, croissants, bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals, orange juice, and tangerines. For first-time visitors with large luggage, it’s worth noting that to reach the hotel, you must take a water taxi (which drops you off about a 5-minute walk away for €35 per person) or the water bus (Vaporetto).

We stayed at do Pozzi 32 years ago and wanted to reminisce. The location, which is perfect, clearly hasn’t changed. The breakfasts were just as good as we remember. The staff — available 24/7 — was just as patient and helpful. Make certain to say hi to Roberto.

We seem to believe that the facility is smaller now, perhaps, over the years, the number of rooms has decreased? Our bathroom WAS small — about 20 square feet. Rooms tend to be smaller in Venice of course, but there was little space to sit in the room itself. Enjoy the courtyard instead.

Value for money. The room was decent size, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, he allowed us to leave our luggage there before check in time. The location is perfect.

I would like to ask all of the guests that return to the hotel late at night, to be quiet. I was trying to sleep but I couldn’t all night long, as a lot of guests were extremely loud when they returned to their rooms. I understand this is not the hotel’s fault that is why my rating was not based on this.

Tucked away in a Venice lane close to a vaporetto stop and easy walk to St Marks Square. Very quiet setting, little courtyard for breakfast. Breakfast was great with tea / coffee, juices, bread, croissants, yoghurts, fruit and cereal. Staff were pleasant. Was clean and decent room which had tea/coffee facilities and small bathroom with great shower.

The courtyard out front was not really used as tarpaulin was out there. Bit shabby inside but room was clean. Restaurants in that area are expensive.

The hotel was in a very nice location near Piazza San Marco so it was easy to walk to the different landmarks in the area. It was tucked into a small alley so it was also nice and quiet. The hotel also allowed us to store our luggage after check out which was useful. They were also helpful in advising which water bus to get in order to get to the airport. On our second night, they provided us with an additional duvet without asking due to the cold weather which was greatly appreciated.

The pillows were very hard unfortunately and the shower facilities could have been improved. The bathroom was a wet room, but the shower screens were difficult to position to stop the bathroom from getting wet.

Amazing location. Close to St Marks Square, Vaporetto stop (Giglio), lovely shopping street and restaurants. Nice courtyard entrance.

Triple room small for 3 people, but comfortable enough for 2 night stay.

Location was great and the hotel was very cute.

We wanted to make the gentleman at the front aware that the bathroom window would not lock and that the toilet set was loose. This was just so it could be fixed after we left. His attitude was not what we expected. He asked if we wanted move rooms. We said no it’s just so you are aware. We also let him know our international charger was stuck in the outlet and could someone see if they could get it out. In the end we could not get it out and left it.

The location of the hotel was excellent as well as value for money. Breakfast was very good with good service for coffee and other hot beverages. Selection was great. Staff in general were helpful and friendly. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.

The lighting in the bathroom was poor - a table lamp had been added but it didn't improve the lighting. There was an awful smell in the elevator like rotting garbage or a dead animal in the elevator shaft which got worse during our stay. The desk staff were either oblivious, pretending it wasn't there, or helpless to do anything about it.

The location was top notch. We had one of the renovated rooms which was great compared to our other family who was in a very old room. Our towel dryer did not work however and after traveling for 10 days we couldn’t dry our few things we washed. The desk staff was very welcoming except for the woman there during the day. She was unfriendly and offering no assistance.
