The accommodation was very central. With walking distance of all the main attractions and ferries. The bedroom and ensuite was small but functional and well laid out, the shower was ample size. Bed made up and towels changed as necessary on a daily basis. The air conditioning was an essential welcome feature as hot weather prevailed during our stay. I liked being able to make a cup of tea or coffee with the sachets provided.

Our room was on the third floor and there's no lift. We probably benefited from the extra exercise except perhaps when carrying luggage on arrival and departure.

The location was fantastic, very close to St. Mark’s Basilica and not too far from Ponte dell’Accademia. Check-in was easy and not far from the accommodations, and it was nice knowing the office was open 24 hours a day. Thank goodness the air conditioning worked because it was so hot and humid in Venice in August (obviously)!

As soon as we opened the door we walked right into our bed. You couldn’t even open the door all the way. It’s also quite the journey to get to the accommodations, so while the location is good for getting to tourist sites, it’s not good for lugging baggage across cobblestone streets and bridges.

We really loved how the property was in the center of all the sites. It was on the strip with all the designer stores, so a great location if you like to go shopping. We had to check in at their sister location, but the receptionist walked us over to the hotel which was very nice of them to do. It was only like a 3 minute walk. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel room also had centralized A/C that was very cold and we loved it!! Especially after a long day of walking in the heat. The hotel was great for a weekend stay. Be aware that this hotel does not have an elevator, so you will have to walk up steps to get to your room. This was not an issue for us, but for those who cannot climb multiple steps this might be a problem for you. Overall, Residenza Favaro was a wonderful stay and I would 100% stay here again! 10/10 recommend!

Nothing. Everything was great!!

It was tucked away on a quiet street but not far at all from any of the main thoroughfares. It made for a peaceful retreat after sightseeing among the crowds all day. The sitting area and the loft where the bed was located made for a very spacious room that allowed you to spread out comfortably. The room was very clean too, and the concierge at the Hotel dell'Opera was very helpful and polite. Taking a water taxi from the airport to be dropped off close by for check in was incredibly easy too.

If you are a tall person, watch your head on the beams in the loft. This wasn’t a terrible problem at all, just a good thing to mind because it was easy to bump into them if you stood up quickly at the bedside.

The location was perfect. The staff were very nice and helpful, even before we arrived helping us with directions from the airport. The room was very comfortable and we had the ground floor which was a bonus for our suitcases. Reception kept our luggage before check in and after check out for no extra cost.

The only small downside was that the water for the shower would occasionally change to cold water and then back to warm/hot (I think this might be when other people in the building use the water as well). Minor but was a shock the first time.

The place is well located, and we walked to all the main atractions. The room was not big, but enough, and to have a minifridge was great! The bed was super comfortable. We had a room in the first floor, and it was good. The ac worked perfectly, and that was super important because was impossible hot outside.

The build did not have elevator. We knew that, and it was fine. We did not travel with big suitcases, so, it was ok the access to our room. But it's something to consider if you are not traveling light.

Really good location! 5 minutes walking to San Marco Piazza. The receptionist took the time to explain everything to us and answered all of our questions. Loved the place! Highly recommended, will come back

The location is great, that is what you pay for. It's close to everything in San Marco. We had the economy room, not by choice, but because there was nothing else available. The bed was comfortable. The staff was amazing, very helpful and nice.

It wasn't very clean, even though I read other reviewers saying it was fine. We found a paper near the bed when we got there, so nobody checked or cleaned under the bed. And no cleaning until we left, only changing of towels and emptying the bin.

The property was easy to find literally 5 min walk to San Marco Square ,and everything around ,it was clean everyday bedding towels were changed,it’s very quiet .we loved it I just wish they was a sofa to sit than chairs but other than that everything was just perfect.xxx

I wish the was a sofa,for comfort since there’s no lift our room was 97 the 3rd floor :(

Very central location, clean flat, possibility to have the luggage stored in a nearby hotel after check-out free of charge (highly appreciated, also staff in Hotel was very, very nice !)

the room was very basic and small. Not electric cattle, only a small fridge (minibar, w/o items to purchase). Also, I did not understand the cleaning policy: after night 1 - not cleaned after night 2 - cleaned after night 3 - check out date - cleaning lady approached the room before check out time, w/o knocking - not very comfortable feeling and to not understand why they would clean earlier then check-out hour
