Very good hotel, clean with great facilities (swimming pool, gym, sauna etc) The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Located close to train station and several bus lines. Gran Via 2 shopping mall just across the road. 15-20mins to the city center and to the airport.

Amazing breakfast selection but lunch and dinner can be improved. I expected the obvious dishes on the menu.

SB Plaza Hotel is halfway to main tourist sites from the airport. Close to everything and massive carrefour opposite. So accessible with good bus system. One airport bus from the lower floor of the airport to the commercial centre stop. All staff were great from reception to breakfast to cleaning staff. They made us comfortable. Our thanks to Camila and Yvan. A black man on Monday reception night shift was really helpful sorting out our bedding. Another Philippino staff showed us directions. The cleaner was excellent. Breakfast staff were very polite and cheerful. In short, they were all great. The breakfast menu is extensive. I expected a continental but was delighted to have a variety of hot meals. It was also great for both vegetarian and vegan. They offered a variety of fruit with my favourite being the little tasty bananas, and I loved the tortilla among hot foods. My teen got cheeros for our Tuesday breakfast. All the sausages and bacon etc are available. My teenagers were spoilt for choice. Yoghurt was great, and chia seed yoghurt. Would have loved the flavoured yoghurts on the final day as on other days. We took breakfast for brunch and got lots of water from the gym and juices at breakfast. Then, we ate out for only dinner. Balcony on the 8th floor has a beautiful view with a little pool as a plus. A gym on the lowest floor with a sauna and steam room. We could use showers in this area or on the roof. Our room shower was also great. For bath I suggest they advise on how to fit metal cover at bottom of bath but we worked it out eventually and used shower most of the time. Also, an extra blanket and bed sheets within reach in room would have been great so one can use an extra bed. Must say that bed is a great idea as we could pull it down only when needed and return it in place to create extra room. Staff were helpful getting us one. On the whole, it's an amazing place. My 10 year old is asking to return to Barcelona for the same hotel..

I'd be well up for staying here again next time I'm in Barcelona. Getting here from the airport was really easy — even when I got in really late at night, I still had no trouble getting to the hotel because there's a NIT BUS stop nearby. Europa/Fira Station is also within walking distance, which makes the train links to and from the airport really handy. The hotel is a bit outside the city centre, but there are good transport links, so it was easy to get around. There's also a large Carrefour supermarket nearby, which made shopping during my stay very convenient. The room was spacious and included a balcony, which made for a very comfortable stay. The amenities were well-prepared and thoughtfully arranged, adding to the overall positive experience. Considering the price, the quality of the facilities and service exceeded my expectations. ※道民向け：強いて言うなら新札幌っぽい地区でした。

There were a lot of guests arriving late at night, so it felt like the front desk was understaffed overnight. When I got there at about 1:00 a.m., there were already a few guests waiting to check in, and it took a while. It's a shame, as the hotel is otherwise excellent, and that shortcoming really stood out.

Close to Barcelona El Prat airport. Even in night time you can access the hotel by night bus N18 - about 15-20 minutes by bus from the airport + walking about 5 min. (use Google maps). The only problem - night bus was overcrowded due to high TAXI prices from the airport and lot of incoming flights after midnight. In day time you also can use local day time direct bus, but it may take more time due to traffic jams. Bus drivers are accepting cash. Good breakfast is included in the hotel the price. Breakfast starts about 6.30 or 7.00, but not expect the starting time exactly at 6.30 a.m. Comfy beds and very quiet in night time, good sound isolation, no noise from the airport.

If you use Bolt or Uber application for TAXI on the way from the hotel to the airport - be ready to pay about 17-22 EUROS or more (depends from your starting time). Drivers outside the hotel are asking to pay about 28-30 EURO for short distance to the airport. Total price for one night stay in the hotel (about 100 EUR/per night) seems little bit overpriced. Keep in mind - there are no tourist objects or attractions close to the hotel. It is just close to the airport, but not in a walking distance.

The location from BCN airport was perfect. It took about 15 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi. There is a massive mall right across the road which has everything you might need including a supermarket, restaurants and there are several restaurants within walking distance and lots of small grocery convenience shops in the neighbourhood. Everything went really well and smoothly for our check in. We were very early but were hoping they would take our bags. We were very lucky as our room was ready and we were checked in. This made such a difference to us and we were absolutely delighted. From check-in, our experience was exceptional. The front desk staff member called Pedro checked us in. He was extremely personable, friendly yet professional. I could hear the people next to us checking in and they were having a similar pleasant experience. Cafe staff also friendly. Lots of places to hang out in the lobby. This hotel combines 4 star amenities with a relaxed air and comfortable surroundings. I especially loved the floor to ceiling library style of the lobby where you can sit, read, sip a drink and watch the world go by outside. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a casual, comfortable yet 4* experience. The room was spacious (with a balcony) at the back of the hotel. Room amenities were good with proper kettle, tea/coffee, fridge with complimentary water, toothbrush amenity kits, flat screen TV (not large but certainly fine), spacious shower and comfortable beds, pillows etc. Upstairs, the pool area is a nice extra where airplane spotters can photograph planes coming in to the airport a few miles away. Having said that, the planes are not close enough to cause noise. The pool area seems nice though we didn't hang out here much. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt totally comfortable whether sitting on the balcony, playing cards or just having a drink and people watching in the lobby...

This hotel was pretty much perfect...the only small negatives I could possibly think of is: The furniture in the lobby, whilst comfortable was a little dated with a few stains (but most of it was clean and very comfortable), Mouldings need a little cleaning in the bathroom shower, The pool is quite small and unheated with no umbrellas at the sun loungers. The photo makes the pool look alot bigger. Having said that, it's a nice area to sit and relax with lots of views and there are couches, cushioned seats etc there aswell. The gym didn't have a huge selection of equipment and is in the basement. If they could move it to where the pool is, it might be a nicer experience.

Cheap 4* hotel in low season is ok. Good is a quiet room, not a lot of traffic and pedestrians around. Another benefit it is located on half-way from the center to the airport, so if you have an early flight its just in 15 min/ 17 euro by Bolt taxi to the airport.

Dirty. Lazy cleaning staff. Im stay in this hotel second time and long hair on tissues in the bathroom this time. Previous - hair in a bed. Dirty walls... is it too complicated repaint it if you cant clean it?! Another thing is that receptionist ask for saving card data or deposit 100 euro... I did not saw this condition neither in the booking.com about this nor about the deposit. 4*, really?! Are you kidding? Do you expect I will steal from you old fridge or electric kettle? Otherwise for what reason you asking for deposit if the mini-bar is empty?

The hotel was modern, clean and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were spacious enough and had a nice welcome gift of two fridge waters which was appreciated after a late flight and arrival to check in. During the stay a relative required a doctor and the hotel staff were extremely helpful in calling the hotel doctor and arranging this for us. After we check out, the hotel provided an access card to still use the pool and gym to change later on as we had a late flight. The gym only had one female shower so took longer than anticipated with our group size to be ready. Our bags were stored and locked away by reception. Overall a lovely hotel, close to Gran Via 2 for shops and restaurants and not too far from Barcelona city centre.

One of our rooms was near to the lift which generally are a little louder due to volume of guests using them and was not too bad on the whole. However, the main negative was around 2am being knocked up by other rowdy guests as they left the lift and passed our room. The hotel staff reviewed the CCTV the next day after we raised this issue.

Great location for our visit (Fira area and great transport connections, shops & restaurants nearby), nice size room with lots of natural light (we had a triple), nice modern bathroom with WC and fab shower (sink area was outside in the room itself). Super friendly cleaning staff, nice little balcony with great view, amazing hallway with 2 story high book shelves and nice sofa area. We did not try the food/restaurant. Taxis always waiting outside which was very convenient.

We arrived at 01 at night and were told we had to sit and wait for 40 minutes in the lobby before we could get checked in. We had suffered a 3 hour delay on our flight, I was travelling alone with to children, one of whom was unwell and it was totally desparing that they could not just check us in and give us our room which had been booked months in advance. I do not understand why we had to wait this long in the middle of the night! Very very bad first impression! Also we had a 3 person room but there were only 2 waters, 2 cups etc in the room. And a large dead bird on the balcony which the super nice and lovely cleaning lady helped us remove. Room could do with a few more sockets for charging.

Clean, modern hotel with spacious family room. Comfy beds and lots of space for storing all our things. The rooftop pool was small but great for cooling down on hot days.

The hairdryer and fridge didn't work.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They even let me store two suitcases with the for two weeks without any additional charge. The hotel is clean and pretty and is also conveniently close to both the Barcelona and the airport.

Wifi access is a little complicated for iPhones
