The location was amazing. The staff was also amazing. I forgot the name of the ma’am who worked in the dining area but she was the most cheerful, friendliest person I’ve ever met who works in a hotel. It was the first time for me to encounter a worker from a hotel who has so much energy, and shares her knowledge about the weather around the area to basically prepare for what we could need. They had tons of options for breakfast and it was well replenished. The amenities were also clean. The room that we had also had a great view from the top. They had a mini fridge and a microwave. If I can come back here again, I definitely would.

The remote control for the TV just didn’t work well for me.

Didn’t like: Booked and paid with booking.com. This was the first time i have had to pay for additional taxes at checkout and found out i had to pay for parking in an unsecured lot at checkout. Feels wrong to learn about additional fees on the way out the door. I have used booking.com for many trips in the US, Mexico and Europe - again first time for additional fees.

Staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable.

There was some wall paper peeling off the wall in the bathroom which just lowered the look of the room. There was also pink mold in the shower. It appeared that cleaning staff wasn't taking as much care as they should be. I was able to clean off the mold without any issue so they should have been able to do it as well. I would have been upset but the room was so nice compared to the horrible places we had been staying that it was easy to overlook. Not something I'd do normally.

I wish you would put a list of local resturants nearby

Great customer service from Forest when there was a fault with our room door & my husband couldn't get in, tried all avenues, and got him a room free of charge. Just wanted to say thank you to all staff involved, including Amanda. Staff recommended great places to eat and the rooms are very clean & comfortable. Hotel is near Yosemite which we highly recommend seeing; and to do a day tour with Discover Yosemite. Would happily stay here again.

Very convenient location . Friendly and professional front desk service. No waiting at all. Printing facility and computer is there if you need prints of your travel documents. Very clean and spacious room. We had scenic view from our room. Kids loved the room.

Nothing at all. But I didn’t much enjoy the breakfast. Toasts , scrumbled eggs and sausages. I enjoyed the coffee.

Even though i paid in full with booking.com app when i checked out the girl asked me if i parked my car in their parking lot and i said well yes where else would i have parked? So she said i would be charged $12 per day. They should have told me that when i checked in the night before

Staff provided rooms next to one another.Rooms were large and comfortable.

The shower was poorly designed. One must stand in cold water in order to turn on the hot water. Standing in cold water trying to get the faucet to hot water is miserable. Also, there was no breakfast for those of us who had 7:00 am tours.

The Ladies that checked us in were very friendly. We were traveling with our 2 dogs so they politely put us on the first floor nearest the outside door. As fur baby mommies we appreciated that thoughtful gesture.

Breakfast could have been better. Not so much options for vegetarian. Also they had pork which is not eaten by us, so it was just an average breakfast for us. Pool was not available to use.
