Everything about the Clarion is wonderful: parking is free, the location is EXCELLENT, and the breakfast is yummy and abundant. They also offer snacks, wine and beer for purchase and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. We were actually in town for a funeral and they allowed me to print the eulogy we'd forgotten at home at no cost.

If there was anything I didn't like: it was that they have a $25 surcharge if you check in before 2pm.

The room was very nice. Clean, attractive, serene looking. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Nice bathtub/ shower. Nice towels. I liked the personal shampoos, soaps, etc.

At the time I booked the room there was the possibility of a third person coming along for the trip. So I reserved a 3 person room. She decided not to come. I tried to change the reservation online to only a 2 person room, and it wouldn’t change. When my sister and I checked in we paid for 3 people even though it turned out to be the exact room. So 2 people or 3, no difference in the room. I asked why it’s more for 3 people and the clerk explained more wear and tear on the room. Since there were only 2 of us I asked if the charge could be reduced to 2 people. He said no. I felt that good customer service was lacking.

I never really comment on things like this, But hand to God this hotel has the softest best towels ever! It was very clean, it was very quiet. We microwaved popcorn, it was perfect. The only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect was If you are over 5'7, you will more than likely need to duck under the shower heads, the tubs are raised pretty high for the shower head, but it was a comfortable shower The water was hot. The breakfast was amazing! We stayed overnight for around $100 on a Saturday and it was so relaxing the beds were ridiculously comfortable. I honestly want to know what brand of towels they use because these are the best towels I have ever had at a hotel! We didn't even try the pool but everybody said that the water was very warm and nice, but if you want a very comfortable bed to sleep on and the best towels of your life, stay here!

The tub was just very high, and the shower head differentiation My husband is 6'1 so that was a struggle for him, I'm 5'7, it was fine for me but if you're taller than me it could be an issue.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was about as close to Biltmore as you coud be without actually staying on the Biltmore estate.

We passed by the hotel the first time because the sign is very small and the driveway turns immediately to the right, so it's hidden unless you're going slow and looking carefully. When we pulled in the parking lot, the room numbers were hard to see and we spent some time trying to find the room.

We got there at around 11:30pm went to check in and the guy at desk was super friendly. We asked if there was any coffee in the lobby. He said no not till in the morning but I can make you some and he did soon as we got up to the room and back down to the lobby he had the coffee mad already. The room was super clean and the beds were really comfortable. Every time we have to stay in Asheville that is our goto hotel. It’s very affordable and is always clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Never found anything wrong every time that we stay it’s always been great

I would say this was the best value I’ve ever had when staying at any hotel. For the price my expectations weren’t too high. But it’s a great great value for the price. The room was comfortable, clean and had a microwave which is becoming less common. They had hot breakfast options and the staff was super friendly and helpful and gave us a map and dinner suggestions. Location was close to downtown Asheville and just a few minutes from the Biltmore.

I have ZERO complaints!

This is our absolute favorite hotel in the Asheville area. We've stayed here as newlyweds, when we were pregnant with each of our children, when they were infants, and now as they grow up...the staff is so lovely and helpful and the convenience is beyond expectations. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is outstanding (think biscuits and gravy and homemade waffles), and you are close to everything in Asheville. I can't say enough about the Clarion!

What a beautiful location! Easy to find and the room was super clean, bed very comfortable, and the receptionist was so helpful and kind...she gave great advice on when to arrive at Biltmore, and even let me check-in early. Breakfast was good, appreciated the choices and check-out was super easy. All in all, a great stay.

Nothing that can be controlled, but the one-way entrance/exit road was a little strange and felt like I was driving on the wrong side of the road.

Convenient to Biltmore Estate and restaurants. Clean and a good deal.

No elevator. Steep drive but this is the mountains after all! Room was easily accessible. On second floor in the back but no steps as it was built against a hill. I'm 70 and didn't have a problem using steps to go to the pool and breakfast area but it may be a problem for some. Happy I wasn't on third floor. Just one way in and out. Texas roadhouse is right beside the motel. Didn't eat there but it's an option if you don't want to venture out.

Staff was helpful and friendly. No soap was left for the second night. Breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet.

On arrival, traffic up the road to get to the hotel was HORRIBLE. You have to go by the Texas Roadhouse to get to the hotel and their customers block both sides of the road. I couldn't get in from the main road at 6 so decided to eat and try again after dinner. It was still bad. I had to go down Hendersonville Rd, turn around and come back to get into the drive. It took 20-30 minutes to get in there. I probably won't come back to this location because of this.
